We went here as part our tour of the plaza where the attractions are located. We did the mirror maze first and got completely lost and could not find our way out. The kid kinda freaked out and it was scary thinking that there is no end and no way out. I seemed like we were really trapped with no way out. We finally, somehow, got out, and the cashier was surprised when we popped out where we stated. He said we were not supposed to come out that way, but both of us were relieved to be out. Then the wife went back in with the kid and also got lost but the kid was calmer. I think the maze is fun but you need to have a tolerance for feeling totally lost with no way out. The wife and kid then did an escape room and could not get out in the 10 minute time limit. But they enjoyed it. Finally, the kid did the laser challenge and liked that the best. They let her do different levels and she was happy to emerge an"expert." Overall, this was a fun attraction and worth the time and money. One note: when you first arrive they will try to sell you the most expensive package, but if you keep asking you will finally get to the package that you want that is cheaper. read more

This was a fun date night experience, definitely worth the money. We had access to the amazing mirror maze, all of the escape rooms, and discover zone. The mirror maze was very enjoyable and took some time to figure out, we also made it last a little longer to be sure we explored as many of the halls as possible. Once you solve the maze they send you back through with 3d glasses which led to a lot of laughs as we tried not to run into others. There are 6 escape rooms and you are given 10 minutes to escape each of them. There are two for each easy, medium, and hard levels. It wasn't very busy when we went so we were able to choose the order we wanted to enter the rooms. One or two of the rooms had broken panels or messed up timers so we had to keep time on our phones. I was still impressed with the puzzles and one room had us completely stumped. The discover zone had an entirely dark area to climb through that was fun to navigate. There was also a room with a light wall and magnetic wall to put together tube mazes for balls. My family and I were visiting from California, and this place was such a great experience! We paid $35, and honestly it was an amazing deal for how much there was to do. We got to try the mirror maze, three escape rooms, a raid game, the dark room maze (which was so fun), and the laser room maze. There was never a dull moment. We had a really fun time. There are discounts online or also on the flyers at hotels. Best discount seems to be online as we got $10 off there. Staff was really nice. Maze was frustrating. There's a part they call deception that was just frustrating. Actually tried the emergency exit because I needed to use the restroom after being stuck there forever but it led to some corridor that was littered with cleaning supplies and stuff and I think a door to the outside maybe (not sure). After you get out they give you the prism glasses for a second and by then we were like no thanks. Second floor is the escape rooms. We did bunker as it's zombie themed. The haunted mansion is their other popular one. If you're not good at these like us I suggest pushing the clue button often and it becomes really fun. We did it a lot and finished within 10 minutes. On the 3rd floor is the black hole maze which is a playground in the dark. If you're bigger size or have bad knees I don't recommend. You even gotta slide down at the last bit. Haven't done that in a while. The discovery area wasn't that fun but maybe for kids it would be. The laser room is self service and fun for kids. I tried once and not being flexible didn't do it again but my kid utterly loved it. Would highly recommend this place after a visit to the Alamo. Staff is really great too. read more

Came here for the first time with my kids and we bought the package admission that included the Mirror Maze, all the escape rooms, Black Hole Maze, and the laser challenge vault mission. The mirror maze was trippy, fun, and not too hard especially if you got little ones. The Black Hole maze was amazingly fun. It is not for the claustrophobic people. It is pure pitch black and you can only find your way out with your hands and feet lol. The maze even gets smaller, tighter, and you'll have to crawl and stuff lol. The escape rooms were a bit of a wait, but simply and easy regardless if my kids and I failed more than half of them lol. The laser challenge was kind of lame and easy, but I guess the challenge is to complete it at the fastest time. read more

Paid for the full package to experience the escape rooms, and guy gave us a beeper to let us know when the room would be ready and an estimate of 15 minutes... waited about an hour and when we decided we could no longer wait so we decided to turn in our beeper. Turns out we were never even registered for a room to begin with. Went to ask the manager for a refund or some reimbursement and he denied that. All he could offer was a small bag of candy for my son. Crazy to see how some business's would rather lose a Customer than reimburse them back for an experience they paid for and didn't have due to an issue on their end. Giving us a small bag of candy for an hour wait is just a slap in the face and just shows how easy a business can steal money from you. Poor customer service, and we will not be returning. This place is right across the street from the mall/Alamo. We did the mirror maze which was a little crazy, you have to wear gloves since you are having to touch the mirrors to find your way. They you go in backwards to make it different. There is a laser challenge which was fun but getting on the floor and crawling was a little dirty. We also did a quick escape room which was fun and a dark maze room which was decided not to do because it was pitch black. Fun place to kill some time and kids probably love it! We happened upon this place while enjoying a weekend staycation downtown. The kids enjoyed the hotel stay but I knew we needed to get out of our small area. I looked online and found this place and it didn't disappoint at all. The dark hole maze was probably the best compared. Although we did enjoy the glass mirror maze. The kids had a blast. We opted for the ticket that has all 6 escape rooms and it was fun for the whole family. The staff was nice and explained everything every step of the way. The escape rooms were 10 min each and even the wait times were short. We did 3 on Saturday and were able to do the remaining 3 the next day as long as you bring in your receipt. I have not done a mirror maze in yeaaaars. They used to be so scary to me but this was so awesome. There was music and lights and it was a good sized maze. You go in first like normal, then when you find your way out, they give you 3D glasses to go back through backwards. The glasses make it 10x harder. The downside is it only takes about 10 minutes to complete & is pretty pricey for that time frame. Upside they do let you walk through this mirror maze twice, the second time providing you with 3D glasses which makes it a little more exciting than the first time. We specifically said we did want the Laser and just the maze and did not want to do the lazer vault but we were charged for the combo pass of both from the receipt. They do not show you the charges or total before they take your card. So be aware and watch when they hand you the receipt. Now the Mirror Maze was a ton of fun. For sure worth it. After googling things to do in this area, this idea came up on yelp. Never have I been here and wanted to give it a chance. It's about $19 a person and was a lot of fun! The maze it's pretty tricky. It took me quite a awhile to get out. Then they ask you go back and do it backwards with 3D glasses. This made me motionsick so I chose to do it without. The vault is not as challenging as you would think. I crawled my way all the way through on expert level. Overall, we had a great time and was a lot of fun. I just don't think it's worth $19. My gf and I had some of the best fun we've ever had in SA here!!! In fact, my gf danced an earring off in the mirror maze and during a hilarious 007 escape through the vault lost a pair of designer sunglasses.. we only realized this after waking up the next day w a small hangover. We called and the staff graciously found the sunglasses so we made the trip down to pick them up. No luck on the earring though so I asked to look in the vault real quick and still couldn't locate it. After thanking them and walking out I was chased down by the young man and lady working there... sure enough, they found the earring at the post second!!! This was fun. I really like that they give you gloves. You go through the same maze a few times, once one way, once the other, and once with crazy glasses on. It was fun and we ran into the wall a few times. I hate to say it, but the most entertaining part was watching a teen run straight through to her friends and hit a wall face first. Take that as a warning: don't run through a mirror maze. You can also do the laser challenge afterwards but we didn't feel like it so we skipped on it. It seemed really popular with a family of kids who were all competing to see who could get through it the fastest. read more

I actually liked this attraction but they overcharged me. One of my many personality quirks is that I love silly tourist attractions. I think they're hilarious. When I saw that there was an "Amazing Mirror Maze" nearby there was no doubt that I was going. I talked my friends Ashley and Samantha into going as well. As a first time visitor to San Antonio it was kind of a shock that this was located almost directly across the street from the Alamo. That certainly made it easy to find! After admission was paid for I was confused as to why they handed us disposable gloves to wear. It made perfect sense once you saw how the attraction worked. The maze is dimly lit with LED lights in the floor. That and the "endless hallway" you see in front of you when two mirrors are angled toward each other produce a cool effect. If you didn't have gloves on then fingerprint smudges on the mirrors would quickly ruin the illusion. I can confirm that at least once I walked right into a mirror that I thought was path, which was pretty hilarious. There is one area that we got stuck in for FAR too long also, which also produced some laughs. There was a young man with shoulder length dark hair that was wandering through the maze cleaning smudges off of mirrors. He was great at deflecting our questions and providing answers that I wasn't sure were true or not. Give that guy a raise. When we finally figured out how to get to the exit they immediately handed us glasses and sent us back in to do it in reverse! It was actually much harder because they were the disposable glasses that distort light. With all of the crazy lighting inside it made it a disorienting challenge. Once we completed that the cashier told us that we could head over and do the bank vault challenge. I didn't know what she was talking about but we gave it a shot. They stick you in a small room and lasers are projected from wall to wall like you see in a vault in the movies. We were supposed to jump, crawl, and sneak by them without breaking the path of a laser. Let's just say none of us have promising careers in burglary. It was good for a minor laugh but instantly forgettable. It wasn't until I was looking over my credit card charges later that I realized that the maze charge seemed higher than I expected. When I looked at the pricing on their website I realized that I was charged for the "combo pass" of the maze and vault laser challenge. If the cashier would have asked if I wanted a combo pass I would have definitely said no. This attraction was already priced on the high side for the amount of time you spend in it. I paid for three tickets so it wasn't an inconsequential extra amount I paid. I supposed it could have been an honest mistake on her part but it still feels like I was ripped off. read more

Really a lot more fun than I thought it would be. A very intense and well designed set of mirrors in a dimly lit maze (but not scary for the little ones). They have flashing lights that change colors on the floor. You have to find your way from the entrance to the exit and it is more difficult than you would expect. I was VERY impressed by whoever designed and built it. The mirrors REALLY play tricks on your mind. You can go through it as many times as you want for the entire day since they stamp your wrist. Price includes unlimited access to their laser vault where you try and move over and under laser beams without setting off an alarm before getting to the other side. They have a coupon on their website but you have to PRINT it out, they will not accept a picture of it from your phone. It's only a dollar discount per person but every bit helps! They also have a GINORMOUS selection of gummy candy, hard candy like smarties, mini jawbreakers, and ever more! But this is an extra cost of course. Just make sure you are prepared before coming in with a little one - I know how hard it can be to tell the little ones no, so just be prepared to purchase or to tell them no. :) Yes, it is on the pricey side (about $55 for two adults and a child - 11 and under). Just keep in mind this isn't something you are going to do on a regular basis and most of you are probably on vacation when checking this place out, so go ahead and give it a shot! read more

Okay so I happened to find out about this place because I found a pamphlet on it while I was at the USO. Well on the 19th of December a friend and I passed it while walking in downtown San Antonio. I made us go in. And man am I glad I did!! Now, I was a little buzzed already, which made it even better. To be honest I don't remember the prices. I THINK it was $15. There is two parts to this place. The maze and then there's like a laser challenge. Not a laser quest. Laser challenge, meaning that you had to do your best to not hit the laser beams and press the finish button in the quickest time possible. I did both. We went in the maze twice and we both did the laser challenge a couple times each. This is one of my favorite places how. However the only thing I wish was different was the side of the maze. It's a bit on the smaller size. I guess I get it though because you have to work with the size of the place as well as some people might freak out if they're in there too long. But I enjoyed it otherwise. The second time we went in with these 3D glasses which made it even more trippy. There's red buttons inside that say push me and it opens a whole other area. They also give you gloves so you don't get finger prints all over. Oh! My recommendation... feel around for mirrors and ways to go otherwise you might get too confident like me and walk straight into one of the mirrors. I was laughing so hard. I would laugh if this place uses my video as a promo video to get people to come! I hope others laugh too. I still laugh at my video every time I watch it! PLEASE go check out this place. I can't believe some people gave this place a 1 star review! My family had a BLAST here! We bought the all day deal where you get to do everything, including all of the escape rooms. It's a really great deal in my opinion. First of all, the architecture is beautiful. The building looks so nice especially on the 2nd & 3rd floor. It was really clean. They keep those restrooms clean throughout the day. Even my kids said the restrooms looked nice and that says something lol. The staff was very nice and helpful. They seemed to have fun working there. I read about some people saying the mirror maze was a joke and they made you go through 2x like nothing was different the 2nd time. Don't listen to them. It was so fun going through the first time, then when they give you the 3D glasses it's like a whole other experience. It's way more trippy with the glasses on. My kids loved the dark room (called black hole or something?). It was a fun, new experience i hadn't really had before. The escape rooms were fun but kinda hard. They'd be good for someone who really picks up on clues fast. 10 min wasn't enough for us to solve them in time but we came SO close. We had fun anyway.
