Skydive East Tennessee is where y'all need to come for your skydive experience! This was my first time ever doing this and I was honestly terrified but the staff here put my mind at ease. Carter was my instructor and who I jumped out with and he was amazing! He was very reassuring in the plane going up making sure I was okay and telling me everything was going to be fine. He wasn't wrong, everything went very well from the plane ride up, to the free fall, and the chute opening. I 100% recommend East Tennessee for your first time experience! Ask for Carter! read more

It was an excellent experience for my husband and our two adult girls to do sky-diving together. We had to wait for the weather to cooperate, once that happened it was so fun to watch their excitement of anticipation Andrew and Carter were so detail in safety training and they also made it fun all at the same time Carter's sense of humor is definitely from out of state! Amazing experience! All of the staff was so helpful and friendly. Instructors were awesome and I felt like I was in great hands the whole time! Before going I was a little nervous but after talking to the staff I felt very safe and excited. The dive was amazing and definitely something everyone should try at least once. I made an appointment with them about 2 weeks ahead of time. The appointment was set for 5pm. At 11am the day off they called and told me the weather wasn't good and they can cancel or reschedule me. I was a bit confused with the 6 hour ahead call about canceling my reservation. About and hour later and for the rest of the day the sky was clear and there was basically no clouds and it was 95 degrees out with no rain. I'm disappointed that they called so early to cancel when in even an hour the weather has been perfectly fine and it stopped sprinkling. I had called back and asked about the next day and she basically told me it doesn't look good tomorrow either for the afternoon. Then the next day came around and not raining at all in the afternoon. I'm just dissatisfied and disappointed. I got my refund and will be doing it somewhere else. I had planned my whole vacation around it and then they cancel so early in the day. read more

Never been skydiving until I came here, but loved it. Garry, Michael, & Tim were excellent instructors/camera men/ tandem jumpers. This group was very experienced, and I never doubted what they told me to do. The whole process was ran very efficiently, and I feel that there was no wasted time. My husband surprised me with skydiving for my birthday something I have always wanted to do. We live in Kentucky, but he knew Eastern Tennessee would have a beautiful view from the sky. We showed up early and they took us right in. I felt very confident after reviewing the video and listening to my instructor Carter give instructions. It was time to suit up and harness up. My husband ordered the video and photo package Carter did an amazing job capturing every moment of my experience. Once in the plane Carter my instructor continuously went over each detail of our jump which made me very comfortable. Carter also made sure to tell me what beautiful sites their was to see from the air. Once we were ready to go he made sure we were secure and made sure I was comfortable. It was time to jump and with it being my first time I didn't know what to expect. The free fall was my favorite part it literally felt like we was floating. My instructor gave me a tap to let me know I could let my arms out and another tap when it was time to pull the chute. He made sure to face me towards the Smokey MTNS and pointed out the bald eagles below us. At one point my instructor let me take control of the chute what an amazing experience. While all this is happening my tandem instructor is documenting my whole experience. If you have the opportunity to skydive you have to check out Skydive East Tennessee. Great staff, always lots of fun jumpers to skydive with, indoor and shaded packing areas, swoop pond, great views of the Smokies from the air, shaded spectator area, and lots more.
