Yesterday my son , granddaughter (15) and I drove out to zipline at Legency. We came in from NC. The twisty, turny, windy roads getting there held lovely views. GPS gave great directions and we arrived on time. If coming from NC on 40 west, please allow extra time for construction, about an hour. Upon arrival at Legency we were greeted by smiling facing at the service counter. We got checked in quickly, given the run down on the wait time. They do not have lockers, so its recommended you lock your belongings in your vehicle. They do take your keys for safe keeping as certain items are not allowed on the course. The gift shop has a ton of unique souvenirs. We purchased t-shirts, they have a large selection. They sell some snacking items and drinks. The restroom was clean. They have rockers on the porch and a fire pit area to hang out at until its time to rig up. Our instructors Matt and Daniel got us into our harnesses and explained how they work. We loaded onto the bus for a trip to the top. Along the way they explained the course and what to expect. Of the 7 lines, the first 2 lines are beginner lines. Each line gets faster and higher. They gave great instructions , and were very helpful. They put everyone in our group at ease. Also, they are quite funny. Don't tell them, we don't want it going to their heads. Waters were offered , so stay hydrated. It was overcast due to the morning rain, but the views were still majestic. Line 6 was my favorite. The course takes about 2 hours. We have ziplined before, but it did not compare to this. The views over the tree tops, approximately 540 feet were amazing. We loved doing this 7 line Zipline tour. We had 6yo and 10 yo. Both were so nervous before starting and happy afterwards. Kids did first two smaller lines themselves and then were buckled with adults for the remaining longer lines. Our guides Joe and Bill were such a great support during the experience. Very grateful for that. The views are amazing. Totally worth the time and money. The feeling inside of flying like a bird with stay with us for ling time. read more

From the moment we walked in the door everybody was super nice and helpful are two guides. Matt and Brian were superb explained everything very well. Helped us with all the equipment took us all way to the top of the mountain. Explain what was gonna happen before it happened. Super great experience highly recommend only have one complaint and that's the pictures. They only take pictures on zip line 6 and they give about eight piece for the price is just not worth it. I hope one day they run out GoPro to go on your helmet or on your chest so you get a Birdseye view of what you're doing or a handheld one that can tie to your wrist like they do skydiving. i'm still giving a five star rating cause other than how they did the pictures. Legacy Mountain Zipline - Sevierville, TN This was my very first time ziplining, and Legacy Mountain set the bar incredibly high. My wife has zipped through the jungle in Honduras before, but even she said this experience blew that out of the water. The drive up to Legacy Mountain is beautiful, and when you arrive there's plenty of free parking right out front. They also have a nice gift shop stocked with shirts, hoodies, cups, and more--great for grabbing a souvenir after your adventure. From the start, the staff was welcoming and helpful. Our guides, Will and Jesse, were absolutely awesome--fun to joke around with, but when it came to safety, they were all business. They made sure everyone felt secure and confident, and it was clear they really know their stuff. The course itself is amazing: 7 adrenaline‑filled lines, including one soaring over 500 feet high with breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. There are a few uphill walks between platforms, but our whole group managed them easily. The only drawback is that customers aren't allowed to take their own photos. There is a photographer at one spot, but our pictures didn't turn out great and felt overpriced. Honestly, if Legacy lowered the photo costs--or better yet, allowed guests to snap their own shots--it would be a win‑win. Guests would share their experiences on social media, giving Legacy tons of free advertising. That said, we had an incredible time, and Will and Jesse played a huge part in making it memorable. Thanks, fellas! If you're in the area and looking for adventure, Legacy Mountain Zipline is a must‑do. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

What an amazing experience! Nice clean facility, friendly staff and we got to play some cornhole as we waited for our guides (Bill & Joe) to harness us up. Benny drove us to, almost, the top of the mountain, where we got a glimpse of the breathtaking views that we'd be zipping through. Yesterday, we had the wonderful opportunity to go zip lining in Tennessee. This was not any ordinary trip, it was a senior trip filled with 29 high schoolers from Florida and Legacy mountain zip lines made this the BEST experience ever! We had 3 different groups going at there different times. Each group only had fantastic things to say about there guides. The stories the seniors were telling each other will forever be a highlight to their trip. I had the privilege to have Jacob and Josh as our leaders. When they realized we had one person who was on the fence to zip line , the guys were very encouraging. Jacob explained in detail how the lines and harnesses worked so that the student would know he was safe. They let him ask his questions and even said he could try the first line and if he didn't like , the bus would take him back. The bus driver ever spoke with him and encouraged him. That's when I knew Jacob and Josh were the perfect guides. Jacob asked each individual kid what there name were and what there plans were after school. They made us feel safe and our zip lining experience the best it could be. read more

We had such an amazing time zip-lining with Jessie and Joe! We were in a great group, and our guides were fantastic at catering to everyone's needs. The only thing that would make it an even better experience is if I was allowed to take my phone. We went on a Zipline adventure a few weeks ago in the same area, and I was able to take my own photos acknowledging that I might lose or break my phone. Rachel, the photographer, was hilarious and definitely made the experience even better. But she was located at one platform and I would have loved capturing each stop along the way. We did our thanksgiving in TN, we were staying in Sevierville ARB&B, we ziplined with Legacy Mountain Ziplines. They were wonderful! Loved it!! I was scared AF but was determined to check this off my box! So glad we did. Staff was amazing, ziplines made me feel safe as they were sturdy and we had someone to hook us up to the lines and stop us in the landing. It was almost 2 hours and it felt consistent. Our group of six joined three other awesome couples, making a full crew of twelve for what turned out to be the highlight of our Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area trip--Legacy Mountain Zipline in the Smoky Mountains! From the moment we stepped into our harnesses to the final unclip at the last platform, this experience was top-tier FUN. Our guides introduced themselves as "Rebecca and Tiffany." This was fun considering Tiffany's name tag said "Tyler" and Rebecca was clearly a dude named Matt... complete with a thick, full mustache that suggests he definitely smokes all of his own meats and refers to his dog as "my dude." Needless to say, Matt and Tyler (a.k.a. Rebecca and Tiffany) were hilarious, energetic, and professional--a zipline version of a stand-up comedy duo with a strong priority and focus on safety. From the initial safety briefing to the last gear check, they had us laughing, feeling like the best of friends, and completely confident we were NOT about to become zipline statistics. But let's talk about the zip lines themselves... SEVEN of them... spanning miles of absolutely jaw-dropping Smoky Mountain views. Seven opportunities to laugh and question your life choices while suspended hundreds of feet above the forest floor with nothing but a harness and sheer thrill holding you together. At one point, you're literally soaring through the sky with a view of three different states at once. I imagine this is what it must feel like to be a majestic bird--if birds wore helmets and were suspended from an inch-thick steel cable. I've zipped in Las Vegas and Hawaii and this experience is, hands down, the absolute best. Amazing guides, resort-like cleanliness and presentation, smooth launches, incredible views, and a flow that builds excitement line after line. And for anyone who might be a bit on the nervous side??? These folks got you! One of our buddies was sweating bullets even before we reached the first platform--full-on calculating his escape route. But by the end of that first line, he was grinning ear to ear and practically pushing to go next. That's the power of solid safety practices, perfectly maintained top of line gear, and a well-timed joke from Tyler. If you're even thinking about ziplining in the Smokies--stop thinking and go for it. This is a bucket list-worthy experience with views, thrills, and laughter you won't forget. Great views! However, please read all the details before booking. We went off the reviews and booked ahead. - Minors must have an adult!!! Some might say, "Of course," but in some places, we have zip-lined previously; it hasn't been required, so I thought it was good when I could check out and purchase the minor tickets without an adult ticket. (It didn't have a hard stop when checking out.) - When we arrived, we were turned away (four minors, ages 13 and 12) because there was no room for an adult to accompany them. The kids were disappointed until a manager stepped in and saved the day. Thank you! - The site says it will take about 2.5 hours, but plan on closer to 3-3.5 as the groups can get backed up on the mountain. There were long lines waiting for the next group to go before us. -Guides were wonderful! Nick and Finn. Thanks for helping us! - Weight matters! If you are petite like me (95 lbs), you might get stuck or have to go in tandem. We only had 5 in our group, so I had to go in tandem with another guest (which was slightly uncomfortable to be that close to someone you don't know a hundred feet about the ground). ****Overall, the views are incredible, but the time it takes to move from line to line could be delayed due to how busy they are. Plan to go in pairs if your minors/ yourself are under 90 lbs, and make sure you have an adult with the minors! read more

We have done zip lines, this one is by far the best we have done. First we showed up on the wrong day. Retirement does that to you. Every day is Saturday except for Sunday. The front desk did everything to right OUR mistake and made it happen.Jesse and Will were our guides. They are two great personalities. Jokes yes, as with most zip lines guides they joke around. But when someone who is fearful of heights, ME, the calming tone, the you can do it, the you'll be fine they are good at it. But the one thing that Jesse said to me was, there are others that are scared, you're just brave enough to let us know. But enough of me. The bus up to the top was comfortable. The 7 lines are great. Every line was a challenge for me . But. Once off the platform l had no choice. Line 5 was amazing. The view, spectacular. Line 6 was the longest at 1/2 mile, over roof tops and a valley. Good zip line course. You will get to see some really nice views of the Smoky Mountains as you soar between stations on this course. The group is led by 2 guides who make sure you are securely fastened. They also acted like entertainers -- making jokes and chatting with the group as we waited our turn. My favorite line was a long one that spanned two ridges. The longer one felt like flying because you can enjoy the scenic views while speeding along the line. Seems like a safe place to do zip-lining. Indeed, it's the first place I've had them double attach the line (you are on two separate lines). So, as long as you listen to their safety instructions, have no fear! It's a good time. read more
