This was our second time ziplining. Frank and Brennan were fantastic guides. Safety was their first priority and we felt secure. They both had such a great personality keeping us laughing and calming our nerves. I will warn that all of the line platforms are up high. Many are small platforms high up on a tree. The first time we ziplined the terrain was different and this wasn't the case. So a warning for those afraid of heights - it was stressful. The facility is well built and maintained. read more

One of us was in a walking boot, and we were a bit worried about mobility, but it turned out to be no issue at all. The front desk staff was super helpful in addressing our concerns, and since our family member was weight-bearing and mobile, it worked out perfectly. The setup is great--transport takes you to the platform, and there's minimal walking involved. At the end, there are some steps, but they were totally manageable for us. Our guides, Robby and Frank, were fantastic! They kept us safe, entertained, and made the whole experience a blast--I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. The seven ziplines were varied, scenic, and kept us hooked the whole time. We went in early Spring with perfect high-70s weather, which made the day even better. We're already planning to return, maybe with a scout troop or for a senior trip. The front desk was great about group rate info, so definitely reach out to them. They put our safety first and were great about explaining the procedures to this nervous mom. This was my first time zip lining. I was a little apprehensive, but the two guides with our group were personable, professional, and safety conscious. I had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, and we were called off the course two times. But that also highlighted the business's concern for safety. As we waited for the showers to pass, we were offered complimentary cold drinks and games to pass the time. They were very organized and seemed to be ready for anything. We had a great time zip-lining today! This was our first time. My 9 and 10 year old boys were excited to try it and I am so happy we found this place. As soon as we arrived we were greeted, signed forms and were suited up. The boys loved riding in the truck up to the course. Dalton and Josh were our guides and they were wonderful! I was a little nervous but I felt as ease as they definitely are experts at what they do. They were so good with the boys and helped us all to have a great experience. Excellent experience! Robbie and Dalton were excellent guides, prioritizing safety and keeping it fun. We were a novice group (with ages ranging from 11 to 70!) and they helped ensure that we got comfortable and knew we were safe. They knew how to encourage to help you have the experience that you want. Dalton is a ham and known to strike a pose and Robbie is charming and playful. This was my first time zip lining and I had so much fun! I chose to book with this company based on extremely positive online reviews. The staff is very friendly and energetic. They make sure that everyone is having a good time. For $74.95 per person you get to do 7 lines. Some of the lines are pretty long which makes it more fun. Some of the lines also have beautiful views of the smoky mountains which adds to the experience as well. It's advertised as a 2 hour experience but we got done I believe in 1.5 hours. This company is conveniently located in pigeon forge. At first I thought their pricing was a tad high but soon realized that it is pretty competitive if not a bit less compared to other places in the area. Overall would recommend. read more

I also needed a zipline that could hold over 250lbs and this one was perfect next they accept up to 275lba. Charlie and Mark were our tour guides. The facility was extra clean, while we waited the staff made sure that we were comfortable, and were happy to explain what to expect during our adventure. We went as a family (3 of the 5 had never been before, including me) and we were all very satisfied with Smoky Mountain Zip lines! We had a great time and did the beginners tour (9 lines). They started off short and not so high and got longer as we moved along; it was great! Our guides were the best and I highly recommend asking for Diesel and Scrappy, they were great and hilarious and definitely made the experience better! I felt very safe on the lines and with our guides. Overall a wonderful place to go zip line. I think we will definitely do the 14 lines if we come back again in the future! 9 lines were great, especially since we hadn't been before, but once we started I wanted to keep going! read more

First timers to zip lining and SMZ did not disappoint. Our guides were Alli and Sweat. They were very fun to be with but were also professional and had our safety as their priority. Even as storms were coming in, they kept us moving along and did not compromise on our safety. We made it back to base camp soaking wet, but that's mountain weather for you. They also had clean office space, retail space, and clean bathrooms. Great job SMZ. They also had a couple vets that work there, an army guy who drove us on the Deuce and 1/2, and Sweat was a USMC. read more

Located just off the main drag in Pigeon Forge, only a few miles into the woods is one of the best Ziplines for first timers. Ali and Craig were the two that accompanied our group which had eight people in it. (4 in our family). Ali and Craig were so funny and kept us calm, cool and collected the whole time. None of us had any anxiety about ziplining at all because they were so comforting. It was our first time, along with 2 other couples that were in our group, they did amazing. Nobody backed out, nobody screamed, nobody had a bad time. We all rocked it and loved it! When you first walk in it's a very comforting environment. The lady at the counter is very soft-spoken and has you fill out the paperwork and then lets you sit and play a game of checkers while you wait for the groups to form. When everybody shows up for the reserved time they take you into a room and get your equipment adjusted to you and get you in your harnesses that you will wear the entire time you're there. After you've been harnessed in, you go outside and you get in the back of this military 6x6 truck with this older gentleman who is just loving life and can't wait to get you to the first Zip Line Station. As everybody unloads out of the back of the truck you're on the first platform. You're immediately hooked to the safety line where you will stay hooked until it's your turn. Craig hooked up first, showed us the basics of how it was going to go down, and he went to the end of the line to wait for us. Ali then hooks each person individually onto the line and shows you how to hold the three straps and make sure you knew not to grab a hold of the line or the mechanism on the line. AND AWAY YOU GO! Ali comes in last. But they rotate so Ali and Craig aren't always doing the same thing over and over. Makes it more fun for them also. They said that you averaged about 35 to 45 miles per hour on each line. The longest one is about 4 football fields in length,I believe is what they said. It's so peaceful and beautiful as you fly through the air. I highly recommend it to anyone who has never zip line before. There is absolutely no age limit whatsoever for ziplining! There is one section where you have to repel down from the platform which is a little unnerving but everybody had a great time and I would absolutely do it again. When you load up and head back to the office you go back into the room and unharness and as you're leaving your offered free drinks from their cooler, which is super cool of them. I am not a huge fan of highs so this was out of my comfort zone but the guides give very clear explanations and ensured our safety throughout the course and that really helped my overcome my fears.
