This was an amazing experience it was very similar if not the same technology as Soarin' Over California in which I experienced at Disneyland in California this takes you over several landscapes over the world instead of just California every time you travel over a coastline us sprayed with the mist of water and every time you travel over a field you are ambushed by the scent of whatever location you travel over the feeling of being in flight is something that you can't imagine as a human being but this seems to be as close as it gets to being birdlike. if you decide to go to Skyfly Soar America. Try to make it one of the first or the last experience of your day as it will be super crowded anytime of year as it is an indoor venue and it seems many people want to experience it more than once the cost is reasonable they also offer military discount so be sure to ask for any discount whether it's senior or military and they will apply it to your ticket. This was a great experience for the whole family, we had 5$ off coupons from buying the armbands for the kids. The total was around 85$ for 5 of us. From the time you get in line till you get on the ride you are being entertained. The ride itself lasted about 10 minutes and was a beautiful show. Compared to Soarin at Disney this is pretty close, the only real difference is Soarin has better screen quality. read more

Fun experience! A little pricey at about $23 per adult ($20 for seniors 60+) for an 11 minute ride (I timed it) but we enjoyed it, nonetheless. It's basically a steampunk themed version of Disney's Soarin', but the theme basically was just the pre-ride stuff. Spoiler alert below: The actual video shown during the ride has nothing to do with the theme, just clips of scenic landscapes & places from all over the states. Still fun & would recommend, but caution if you easily get motion sickness. read more

SkyFly is a fun attraction at The Island in Pigeon Forge. If you have visited EPCOT's Soarin' and Toothsome Emporium at Citywalk in Orlando, you'll feel the same vibes of adventure and steampunk. The experience itself is very fun and entertaining! The video footage of National Parks is stunning, and the ride is pretty wild! The staff was friendly but seemed to be confused. Throughout the time of our visit, our group was told by different staff members of places where we were supposed to be...and other staff would move us back or forth. There were some older ladies in our group, and they were having a hard time with moving into one room, back to the previous, up the ramp, back down the ramp...Whe we told the staff member that we were moved to the next room because of another staff member, the responses were borderline rude. It seems like communication between the staff members was unclear which made directions to paying customers unclear. read more

This is a cute ride for families in Pigeon Forge. They do have local discounts and military/veteran discounts. The local discount is if you live literally in Pigeon Forge, not just Tennessee. The ride itself is about 15 minutes long including the beginning immersive video that plays before the ride. I am not the biggest fan of heights, nor rides, nor being confined, so I wasn't sure how SkyFly was going to play out for me. But we had SO much fun! I'm so glad I went. In retrospect, there is nothing to worry about with SkyFly. It's all perfectly safe, and you're basically just sitting indoors, in front of a giant IMAX screen that surrounds you. You really feel like you're soaring above and through different American landscapes. We went over landmarks, through deserts and over beaches. Whenever we went over a water element, we were misted with water! It was rather delightful, actually, and really put us into the scene. We didn't have to make a reservation -- we just popped in and got tickets for the next show. We only waited about 10 minutes before we were seated. From start to finish, the ride lasts about 10-15 minutes. Once it was over, my kids were asking to go again. SkyFly offers discount admission on your second ride, in case you want to go a second time. read more

The ride itself was fabulous - just as mesmerizing as the Epcot ride. Unfortunately, we were still in the movie ride formation on the 7:15 pm ride on July 27, 2026, when the servo froze, shut down, and could not be placed into manual mode. The ride management did not tell us anything. After 25 minutes, I called the front desk and was told "It appears to be stuck. The manager is looking at it." They finally turned off the ear numbing sound and turned on the lights, but still no communications. The fire dept arrived a little later and a fireman told us they were going to use chains to manually pull the mechanical unit back into home position. They pulled and pulled for about an hour and a half and finally got us back to the platform, but not before our seats were turned to the horizontal and then an inverted position. Our 715 ride was finally over at 9:35pm. The Pigeon Forge Fire Dept and Police Dept were helpful and as communicative as they could be. The management and staff of SkyFly provided an example of poor communication and handling g of a tense situation. My 78 and 79 year old parents were patient and handled it well physically and emotionally. Some younger people were very anxious and getting very upset. Word was passed on the they were giving refunds, but you had to hear it from someone and go ask for it. It is really a shame because the ride itself is so good. read more

This was such a fun experience at the island in Pigeon Forge, TN. You take a virtual ride that felt pretty actual, across the world. There was no wait time and the price was very reasonable $20 for Seniors and $23 for adults. They offer $2 off in the coupon book at the information desk when you enter the area. Very fun, but not sure it was worth the price. A longer version of Disney Epcot Soarin (minus the scents). Be cautious if you get motion sickness. Graphics could have been a bit higher quality. And the wait was kind of annoying making you stop in 3 different areas before the actual ride. read more

Ok so the cost of this is $23 + tax taking it to right around the $25 mark. You head into a big room with four or five rows of chairs. There's a huge movie projection screen in front that will show the movie you will be watching of various spots throughout the United States. You can choose where you want to sit - low / medium / high - and fasten a seatbelt harness on you then the show begins. It's dark but I presume the floor changes it's slope pitch as the movie begins. As you watch, the chairs move to the motion of the movie making it feel as if you are flying over the sites shown on the screen. It's pretty cool. I have to admit I loved every second of the show. You are fully captivated into it as if you are actually there. So great job. Here's my complaint & reason for knocking it down a star to a four. I asked out front how long is the show & the guy told me 20 minutes. I then made the decision that $25 for a 20 minute ride sounds like a good deal. It turned out to be maybe 5 to 7 minutes long a best. I'm pretty sure the guy know what I was asking & I didn't want a time based off walking up to the entrance door into the ride & waiting 5 minutes or so. Therefore I felt I was lied to read more

This experience is a lot of fun for the family. I have been about 3 times now. You are strapped in a 4 point harness (don't ride in a skirt unless you are wearing leggings). The entire rows of seats move to take you through the 10 minute 4D video. You will feel vibrations, light water sprays throughout the ride from the ground to high in the sky. Tips: Ask the attendant which row is the best. Don't bring anything that can fly out of your pockets easily. There is a little bit of storage to put your things under the seat. Buy tickets online for small discounts. Overall, this is a fun ride. I only wish they would change the theme in the near future. read more

This is an excellent immersive ride that is equivalent to what you'd see from Disney rides like "Soarin'." Really first class experience from start to finish. When you enter, it is like waiting in line at an amusement park attraction. You'll see funny videos and other things to capture your attention while you wait. The storyline is an industrial era inventor created a time machine. It has a clever feature that allows everyone in the room to feel like you're riding on a train to board the flying time machine. Once to the "flying machine" you get into chairs and fasten seat belts. The simulation is basically a moving platform over a large high-definition screen with wind/effects. Even though you know it's not real, the motion and visuals are pretty spectacular. You can visualize and experience flying over features in an exciting, fun-filled setting. You will fly over many National and international landmarks -- getting close to mountaintops and animals. The whole ride was great in every way. I'd put this one as equivalent to Disney Soarin' -- which is one of their best rides. Is it worth the money? I'd say yes - especially if you are local. This type of ride normally requires a trip to a major theme park. You can experience it here without the associated time and expense of going to one. read more

Wonderful experience! My son is afraid of heights and he was a bit scared but got used to it and ended up having a great time which is priceless to me. I gave it 4 stars only because the price is a bit steep-$22 for adults and $17 for 11 and under and for us that was around $95. For $95, i wished it would've lasted longer. The front desk person- a man with glasses- was rude and we could've done without his attitude but the younger picture lady redeemed the customer service for me. We bought the pictures they took of us at the beginning- $27 is reasonable compared to other places. A must do for sure! I think out of everything we've done, this is by far the best one! read more

SO worth the $25. It's as if the Haunted Mansion & an IMAX had an exceptional baby. There was a little girl sitting in my row that kept shouting 'Mommy' during the good part, and I didn't even mind (normally that ticks me off). She asked her mom if we were outside. LOL It was funny & cute. My advice to the owners: Trim the introduction part with the steampunk father & daughter. Nobody really cared and it doesn't make much sense. Increase the actual "IMAX on steroids" 4D show; it was AMAZING. My advice to adult customers: Unless you want to be distracted during the good part, do not sit in a row with a child. Before you enter the theater, they have you stand on dots that have three colors: Red, blue & green. If you see a talkative kid standing on red, you go stand on blue or green. Every dot is a front row seat; you can't lose. Also, if you plan to go to Burning Man or a warehouse rave, pick up some steampunk goggles in the gift shop. They're only $15. read more

Let me start by saying the experience itself is fantastic. If this was based on the experience alone it would be a 4.5. But the customer service was poor, I have a young brother who was just above the line at the first measuring tape and we bought the ticket but at the second one he was far under the line and was kept out of the ride. Other than that once we got in it was a fantastic experience and other than the customer service would recommend. read more

So first, I wasn't sure if I was gonna do the experience so I talked to the Man outside and I told him about me having motion sickness and he told me that it wasn't anything that really moved and it wasn't like a 4D experience because I also have eye problems. So after looking at the price and everything we decided to do it! They said it was gonna be a five minute wait so it was perfect! Well, then you go to the briefing. They tell you that you're going to go through a bunch of safety rules which really is just a 15 ish minute video of nothing really a time waster. Then you go into another room and they do it all over again. When you actually get to the "ride" it's just a 10 ish minutes very poor drone footage. I will say kids loved it I personally thought it was a waste of my money and wouldn't do it again without kids. Note the oldest child that was with us was 12 and his didn't care much for it and said it was too cool. They preferred other activities on the island. A plus was the price was one of the cheaper options on the island. read more

Wonderful virtual reality experience. Docking 2 stars for pricing and video quality. They do a great job at making you feel like your soaring over America, however, the transitions could use some work. I would suggest adding in more elements of drops and heights into an updated model. Pricing is steep too. $48 with $4 off coupon for 2 adults for an immersive experience that lasts 10 minutes. Overall, I would probably do it again if they updated the experience, offered another scenario, or lowered the pricing to be more competitive with Ripley's and 7D. Ripley's is $16.99 before coupons of which there are many. We only found a coupon in 1 of the half dozen booklets we picked up. I would also note that this ride is moderately plus size friendly. read more
