You know what, hell ya. Over all I did like this ride. My 3 year old did too! Was it dark ? Yup, was it a bit out dated ? Yup But it added to its charm and honestly we loved it It's definitely an experience- if you've never done it before, do it! Unless you don't like the dark.... Don't do it lol lots of pitch black parts of the ride But if my 3 year old can do it and love it. So can you

Anyone who says that they did not enjoy this ride are either bold face liars or simply don't know how to enjoy life... Or maybe they are resentful of the primal fear they experienced while being surrounded by hyper realistic dinos. Either way, step on deck and enjoy your Jurassic journey. It's truly unlike anything else I have ever experienced!

So I just had to come back and I had a blast!! This time the light were out and it was legit scary and 90% of the animatronic dinosaurs seemed to be fully functioning. It was great this time. Now I'm traveling solo so only had to pay for one ticket so I totally understand how a family group would not find value at $22 per person for a ride that lasts about 10-12 minutes. That said I loved it and I'm glad a roadside attraction like this still exists.

    Let's go see some dinosaurs!

We had heard about this ride and knew what we were getting into and still loved it! Yes it is outdated and a little overpriced, but if you love theme parks and dark rides you will appreciate this. Don't expect a Disney level ride, but with an open mind, good attitude, and a sense for some nostalgic theme park feels you will enjoy this. It lasted about 8 minutes and fits 8-10 people.

So, even after reading reviews, we decided to try this out. More so for the laughs than a genuinely cool experience. As others have pointed out, it's dated, hot, too dark, consists of random stops and the water smells of old fish. That all being said, I laughed my butt off the entire time. The boat is neat, but stops randomly on the tracks for random periods of time. There is some lightening that looks to be a white streak coming down a projector screen. The animatronics are incredibly outdated, but I did enjoy them. It's weirdly dark through most of the ride. At different intervals lights will come on, lighting up some dinosaur or other creature. There were a couple of instances where something shot out and made me jump and laugh, so that was fun. It definitely seems like a classic ride, but for me, it is not one I would be repeating. That's mainly due to the cost. At almost $50 for two people, there are dozens of other local attractions to spend your money on. That being said, if it was $10, I'd ride it every time just for the laughs and nostalgia. So if you're not sore about the price tag, I'd say it's fun enough to experience at least once.

Absolutely horrible in any objective measure and I love it. As a modern day, dark ride, it is beyond laughably bad. If you are an adult, looking at it through an ironic lens, it is freaking hilarious. From audio animatronic dinosaur skins that do not quite fit, lighting ques which are off, ride vehicles which stop randomly during the ride for no apparent reason it is a trip. What is not hilarious is the price, $23.95 ($18.95 plus tax) is steep. Definitely a one and done.

Went by at opening on 8/29/21. While most of the town was packed, there was no line here except another small family beside us. Should have opened at 10 but the worked didn't come out until ten after. When he finally did, he didn't say a word to anyone. Just coldly took our money, ignored my "hi, how are you?", and pulled his phone out as soon as we were all checked in. The ride was pretty lame, as most other reviewers noted. Things were broken, the sound effects were low quality, and the sound mixing often cutoff mid sound. It was a joke. I don't think anyone over 10 would have enjoyed themselves. I think the only thing genuinely creepy about the ride was the unnatural and painful looking walks of the robotic dinosaurs. I get that it's probably a kids ride and it's hard to maintain all that equipment when the ride isn't pulling in so many customers. I would have been more sympathetic toward this ride if A- the price weren't such a ripoff. $20 per person for a ten/fifteen minute ride. And B- if the worker had any sense of friendliness or even basic personality. He didn't want to be there, and I guess after going through that ride, I see why.

Simple ride, youngest loved it, never really has a line. Price is ok. If the kids loved dinosaurs it fun for them.

The ride was great! It's geared towards children. My grandson loved it! Asked to ride again that's a win for me!

Seriously do not waste your time. The guy selling tickets was really rude. The ride is falling apart and seemed unsafe.

This ride is a national treasure. If you're into dark rides or animatronics, this is a must-see in Pigeon Forge.

It was okay, it was expensive and I wouldn't go again. The animatronics were outdated but the kids seemed to think it was decent.

We parked across the street in their free parking area, which had plenty of available spots at that hour. The walk over was less than a mile and very manageable. Although the weather wasn't ideal--light rain and chilly temperatures--it didn't take away from the experience. We started by walking around and taking everything in. There are so many cute shops, unique stores, and plenty of great photo opportunities throughout the area. We did a little shopping, sampled some food, and purchased tickets to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, which was a highlight. Before heading out, we made one last stop at Ole Smoky Moonshine, which is always a fun experience. Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, we still had a great time and really enjoyed our visit. Parking is free and regardless where you park, you aren't far from a trolley stop. The trolley is free and will transport you to the entrance of the island where all the action is. The island itself has SO MANY things to do, places to eat, and places to shop. At the entrance itself, you will find Ben and Jerry's ice cream, a 7d immersive gaming experience, a large fountain display that dances to music (along with animatronic dinosaurs that will also be found throughout the property), a lemonade stand and walking taco stand and more! Walking the property you will find amusement rides, an arcade, Starbucks, mello mushroom, great big gameshow, and so much more. There is something for everyone here and things stay open late!
