Our child was forced out of the program with less than 14 days' notice, which was very upsetting. Before this, the ABA lead was switched without any prior warning or discussion. Before the new lead, Kevin, joined, there were no issues raised about our child or the program. However, once Kevin took over, communication became very restricted--we were limited to email only, and it was made mandatory for all parents to attend every meeting, which was difficult since my spouse is on sea duty . After Kevin joined, we noticed fewer families in the pick-up and drop-off lines, and the school atmosphere felt colder and less flexible. Overall, the changes made it hard for us to stay involved and left us feeling disconnected from the program.

A couple of weeks ago, she claimed she was in over her head with OTHER responsibilities and would have to move lesson days. After I wanted more clarification and to find out what's actually going on, I wouldn't hear anything; no answer of my calls, no text back and no call back. Even when we wanted to discuss it in person she deliberately avoided us. After continually reaching out, she decided to send me an email late at night claiming she's dropping us. The way it was worded was quite rude and no apology on her end of the no communication. It's unfortunate because her teaching was great and my daughter loved the place and now is very upset. But coming from a business owner myself, it was extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate and could've been dealt with WAY better and differently. Sad we wasted almost a year here, but guess it's good to see the true colors of Kate and take our energy and money to a better place.

The North Cascades Learning tour guides were extremely gracious, and provided extensive insights about the land, lake, and dams. If you're wanting to attend this tour plan ahead to arrive on time, park exactly where it's designated to park (if you choose to park where it states no parking you are running the risk of car damage due too falling rock debris) pack allergy friendly snacks, and plan to explore the learning center, gift shop, and walking trails after the tour and lunch. I highly recommend for all, and will be referring all of our out of town guests to plan a day trip to the North Cascades National park and secure a ticket for the Diablo Lake tour.

Been wanting to try this place for a minute, especially since we live nearby. So we finally did it…read moreon our anniversary. We hadn't played in a few years so I reserved a court for the two of us. Emily sp?(pronounced ah-muh-lee) was super helpful on the phone helping me reserve the court and walking me through what I needed to do on my end to create an account via CourtReserve. Initially back in August that step kept me from checking out this spot, but it really was easy. When we arrived we were greeted by Emily's mom and she was very kind and we were patient as the internet was being finnicky due to the howling wind. All in all it was a great time and I can't wait to go back because now I know to scan the QR code before our game begins....then afterwards you can get your video highlights!!! P.S. There is a parking lot and you receive a code to enter the premises, so they are taking security measures, which I appreciate.
