Multiple oil changes on several vehicles, two timing change belts on a Jetta diesel, thousands of dollars spent, and the "level of service" I personally received from the store manager Gord, was appalling. I took my brand new vehicle in for an oil change at the end of March 2025. The employee that serviced my vehicle, re-used the factory crush washer, and also took the engine cover off (don't know why you would need to take an engine cover off for an oil change). Having a gravel driveway, neither myself or my husband noticed the oil leaking out. When I did notice, the vehicle being under warranty, it was taken to the dealership, where it cost me $200 for them to tell me that whoever did the last oil change didn't do it properly. When I took my issues to Gord, I was "mansplained" on how he has personally changed oil on, as I quote "way more expensive vehicles than yours" and how they never replace the crush washers (that's how they work, they are crushed when they used and are NOT reusable) and that he would not be helping me with the $200 I had to pay for his stores mistake. Oh, and nor would he be looking for an engine cover, cause he had "non kicking around sweetie", and would have called me if he had seen it. I had lost over a litre of oil in my vehicle, and was looking at a completely seized engine on a brand new car. Since Barb has left, it has gone downhill. If I had the option to give this store 0 stars, I would. I would recommend going anywhere else for your oil change.

Halfway through, they called to tell me they couldn't find my wheel lock key and said they'd only charge me an hour's labor because they cannot complete the safety che k without it. I told them the wheel lock key was in the glove box, but they refused to check. I ended up paying $120 for an hour of labor and now they expect me to return and pay $169 again for the safety check. All because they didn't bother looking where I told them the key was and saw a young kid they could scam another 120$ from. This isn't the first time either. They pulled a similar stunt with my Mustang last summer and I ended up having it scrapped. when they were called on it. There was "nothing they could do" Lesson learned. Now, their shop is obviously busy and he could have said "leave it with me" but he didn't. He ordered the part and had the van in the air as soon as a bay was free and the repair was done within the hour. And...and, my buddy and l spent more on breakfast than the repair cost. I live in Toronto, but due to limited space in my big city digs, I store my snow tires in my parents garage in Peterborough. When I called the Honda dealership in late November to make an appointment to get my tires changed, I figured it would be a breeze... Since this is not a review of Trent Valley Honda, I will spare you the details, but suffice it to say, they screwed up... big... and I left with the job undone and very little time before I needed to leave to make it back to the city for work on time. Enter Class A. Every other place in town seemed to be frazzled and overrun by people doing just the same as I was and hurrying to get snow tires on at (what we thought was going to be) the last minute. But not Class A. They listened to my situation, put me on a brief hold to check scheduling, and came back to report that, under the circumstances, they had found time to fit me in. When I arrived, they took my car in right on schedule and were done in no time. Staff was amazing, the waiting area was stocked with magazines and had a television screen showing CP24, and I made it to my destination with time to spare. Thanks guys!

I have no worries about leaving my cars with them as their skills and service have always been exceptional. The cars get serviced for what they need, with a mindful note of what I might need in the future. Friends of mine have had dealerships charge exorbitant fees for work, while the Atkin's team will apply common sense and get me back on the road for a lot less. Superior service with better pricing. The only problem with Atkins Auto is that they are busy. Good Mechanics are hard to find, and they will always be busy too. I've been using Atkins Auto for 15 years now!
