It's a really short walk to the trail entrance and if you download AllTrails app, the trail is an estimated 3 hr hike, 4.4 mi total. It's a necessity because my friend and I got bit up by insects, and this trail guides you along the small river beds. Try to bring a hiking stick as well, due to steepness at certain areas & to protect yourself from stepping on any rattlesnakes. Always pay attention to which trails you take because it can get quite confusing when you try to head back to the entrance...there's so much vegetation there. I barely saw any people take this same trail so I'd recommend to bring a group of friends to hike with you. This trail is definitely different, it's more of a explore at your own risk type of place since your hiking into the Corona Canyon, but it's quite peaceful to be surrounded by the sounds of nature. We did find the Old Tin Mine that seemed a little creepy, though we didn't hike to the end due to high vegetation/no visible trail and we stayed safe by heading back until next time we come back. Overall, please be safe when visiting this area & watch out for wildlife. :)

It's about a 2-3 hour round trip hike and worth it because there's a waterfall at end of hike. It's my go to hiking trail when I am back home in the OC and want to get a dose of vitamin d and nature. I'd recommend hiking early in the morning as it gets hot during peak sunny hours of the day. I'd rate this as intermediate level trail since there's rocky riverbed trail you have to hike and there's some elevation and big boulders to scale. The journey to waterfall is dynamic and you'll see nature and some interesting man made abandoned structures along the way. Hike is a good combo of fun and an adventurous exploration.

There's slight incline if you plan to do some walking but there is some paved paths where I did see folks walking around. There are poop along the path and also on the grass. This is wonderful park to have in the neighborhood. Wished I lived a bit closer and wished we came prepared with a picnic blanket. Tips: -Small parking lot. -Restroom available. -Basketball courts. -Small playground with 2 swings.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. There is limited parking in the parking lot, but you can also park on the curb. Just check out the street parking times. There are city parking times where you're not to park there, unless collecting parking tickets is your thing.

You can now walk from Eastvale Community Park at Hamner through River Walk Park and down to Archibald, a total round trip of 5.2 miles. Unfortunately, there has been so many kids out there racing E-bikes during the past year it is getting increasingly difficult to safely take a walk with my dog along this trail. Recently JCSD has put up 20 miles per hour speed limit signs that say yield to pedestrians and some mirrors to help see around sharp turns. 20 mile per hour speed limit might be an okay speed limit on the straight parts of the trail, but 20 miles per hour isn't at all safe around the sharp turns. I have had to jump in the bushes and pull my dog off the trail several times from E-bikes racing around a curve in the trail.

The road is a fire trail that as you get towards the top it's rocky and sandy. But as you can see from my pictures the climb is well worth it
