Wow! This place is amazing! My boyfriend booked us a private helicopter ride for my birthday, he booked for Sunday May 10th at 10pm, we arrived early around 9:30pm we had to sign some documents beforehand, they have some add on's that can be added to the ride such as a photo or even door's off if your adventurous, we added the photo. The setup in their lobby is awesome they have free games as well as vending machines with snacks and drinks and free coffee and hot cocoa and a tv as well, the staff is super nice and our pilot was outstanding! When it was our turn we went outside and took our picture and we were driven on a golf cart to the helicopter the gentleman explained to us how to approach the helicopter one at a time, safely buckled us in and gave us our headsets, we went around the whole strip, past The Strat and even over Fremont street such an amazing experience! I booked a Vegas strip tour last week for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary and I couldn't have been happier with the decision. I was reluctant to do it based on the tour being less than 30 minutes but it was absolutely worth the money. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helped accommodate my wife who unfortunately broke her foot the day before and was in a wheelchair. We took a ride on the night of 6/13 the ride was beautiful. We decided to take the tour because we had found a coupon on Groupon for $120 we where very excited to take the tour. We called and they had a opening for 9:30pm we spoke with Bernadette. She said she would honor the groupon price over the phone and then asked if we wanted doors on or off. Unaware of any price changes we said doors off. When we got to the airport we where asked to fill out a online form which we did. I was going to press doors on but again Bernadette insisted to click doors off!! We went on our ride and enjoyed it with doors off. The next day I check my bank statement and see I was charged in additional $40 for the doors off!! Not once did Bernadette inform me of the extra fee. This by far was one of my favorite helicopter rides! Walking in staff were very very nice. Katie and Mike were there to answer all of our questions. It's very clean inside and the best part is that they have a game room for you to play games while you wait . My friends and I were like big kids and I loved every part of it. Talk about nostalgia....we played Pac-Man, jenga, and ping pong. We even had a glass of wine before takeoff. The ride itself was amazing! Arthur, our pilot was great. Amazing experience you won't want to miss. We had a 10pm flight which was delayed a bit due to bad weather. The staff was accommodating and provided us with a few drinks while we waited. They were running a "doors off" promotion so we opted for that. Would fly again! When you check in to the location after booking your tickets online, they don't inform you about the additional $10 per phone payment (phone case with a strap around the neck to use in flight to secure the phone from falling). We were charged an extra $20 on top of what we paid and were told it's "protocol" not to take pics in front of the helicopter before flight unless we pay an additional $20. Not only was none of this mentioned but the staff are completely unprofessional and lack any sort of customer success skills, wearing crocs while at work, the pilot Lexie laying on the couch in the customer waiting area when we were told to go there and wait for the flight to be prepared. Yet my BIGGEST issue and WORSE experience was when the PILOT Lexie never informed us of the safety procedures and do's and don't while in flight, which led her to lash out on me mid flight in anger and disrespect because my legs where hanging slightly out (doors off Helicopter) which I have witnessed many people do online and wasn't aware it was a safety hazard and was NEVER told either. This young girl clearly has no respect to customers and was belligerent enough to say "get the **** off my helicopter" and threatening with "If you do that again, I'm heading back" yet If I was told pre-flight or in a polite passive way; I would have never done it again anyways. It shows how entitled and rude this individual is as an employee flying a company helicopter and thinking she owns these company assets as well! Unbelievable disrespect and when confronted, neither her or the other employees said a word to de-escalate the situation, instead we where ignored and met with silence. It's the first time we get a service at such a shady, unprofessional, insincere company that hires kids to run a business without transparency and passion. The only unfortunate reason why we chose Skyline Helicopter Tours was because they offer "doors-off helicopter experience" but I highly suggest you check elsewhere and notice their replies on others reviews (google reviews) to understand what I meant in this review. read more

I had a great experience and cannot wait to come back!!! The location is very spacious they have a waiting room with couches, a game room with ping pong and a chalk board, another waiting room with a TV and a kitchen where you can make yourself a latte and massage chairs. I didn't expect all the extra features but it was great! Mike was our pilot he was very friendly and gave a great tour of the strip. We flew with the doors off which make the trip even better! Staff are remarkably friendly and attentive, they were pretty clear about safety and instructions. We chose the open door experience above Las Vegas Strip.. and the tour sure made me appreciate Vegas' bright lights. It was really nice seeing it in a different angle and it was quite entertaining. I found skyline tours on Groupon. I booked the night tour over the strip for my boyfriends birthday and it was amazing! I got there at my scheduled check in time 7:30pm for my 8pm flight time. Winfield (hope I spelled it right) checked us in, took our $25 airport fee, our weight and then we waited in the waiting area. This was our first time so we were definitely nervous but Winfield was super easy going and went over all the safety instructions and cracked a joke about not ducking and walking funny when we got to the helicopter because only people on movies do that lol the blades are 14 ft high so not to worry. Thank god! Because honestly that was the exact thing I was going to do! The pilot was Justin and he did a great job. The take off and landing was smooth and he pointed out some of the strips attractions. Once our flight was over we had a quick chance to take photos in front of the helicopter while the next couple was being loaded on. read more

The service in this location was HORRIBLE. The guy at the front desk will try to up sell you on everything. He has a pretentious, arrogant attitude. We paid $75 extra for "taxes and fees"??? By reading all these reviews I now know my husband and I aren't the only ones with bad experiences. The slim guy that takes you on the golf cart has an awful attitude. We made a slight comment about how blurry the pics looked with the lanyard they gave us and his response was rude and defensive. The pilot is boring and unamused. The entire ride takes 10-15 minutes. What started out as a possible cancellation, turned into a very nice morning flight over Las Vegas. We were scheduled for a 9pm flight over the strip on 7/25. As we arrived for the check in time of 830pm a severe thunderstorm struck the area, with winds gusting to 68 mph! Well, certainly there was going to be no flight. Thinking we are going to cancel, we were asked if we could fly tomorrow evening, I told them we were driving to the Grand Canyon the next morning and they asked what time.... I told them morning and they offered a morning flight. We set up a 10am flight. The next morning we got there, were briefed and at 10am, went on our flight.... It was very nice, smooth and fun. Definitely a lifetime memory. We were happy they were able to accommodate us the next morning, cause just do not know when we would be in Vegas again. The cost, staff and helicopter were great. A MUST DO!!!!!! This was my first time in a helicopter and definitely won't be my last! I actually found this company on Groupon- It was during my search for meaningful things to do in Vegas during a group trip for 8 ladies-some of whom had never been to Vegas before! Only 6 of us opted in for the helicopter ride so I called the company directly and mentioned the Groupon rate which they honored, so I booked 2 helicopters since each only fits 3 passengers. Everyone who worked there was so friendly & accommodating. I usually go to 702 or maverick but they were all booked! so had to book a tour for my friends first time in Vegas! our tour was at 5:15 and we got there around 5 just to someone yelling at us that we are late!! what? The guy said yeah you should have been here 30 mins early and is 50 dollar late fee? WTF? nobody told us this! he said they sent out an email which actually I checked never got an email but even if that someone should have told us on the phone! so basically we paid to get yelled at and pay 50 dollars late fee! To have a Trump poster in your lobby seems a bit absurd considering half of the country does not support him and even more than that, many of us are part of the minority groups he spewed hate against. The two men working in the office were great and super informative but the pilot, AJ, was not friendly and seemed irritated. He stuck to his script regarding the tour but wasn't friendly. The Red Rock helicopter tour should've been rescheduled due to the wind advisory that day. The ride was extremely bumpy and scary to the point I almost got sick - which never happens. You get headphones but can still barely hear each other because you hear also hear the air traffic. Seeing the Strip from the air was an amazing experience and these guys have an amazing price! This was our first helicopter experience and it was probably the highlight of our trip. I got the groupon for the tour of The Strip and I thought everything went really smoothly. From booking to the end of the tour, I had no issues and everyone was really friendly and professional. Like others have said, pay the $40 extra to get the doors off. I can't imagine enjoying the ride half as much with the doors on. Plus, the pilot said it would've been really hot (for context, this was at night in late June, with temps around 100). If you get the doors off, know that it can get really windy. So girls, pull your hair back (they had hair ties). Even still, our hair was a bit tangly afterwards. Also, they sell plastic lanyard pouches for $3 to put your phone in. These go around your neck to keep your phone from, you know, flying out of the helicopter and possibly killing someone down on the ground. I said "sold" when they told me that little tidbit. If you get these, which I suggest you do, you'll want to make sure to keep the plastic as flat as possible when taking videos and pictures. I have a bunch of photos that have some glare on them from the plastic. The extras do add up but don't they always (the $40 doors off, the airport fee, the lanyards, tipping the pilot). Plus it's about a $30 cab ride each way from The Strip. I checked around to compare prices with other companies and it seems like they're pretty much on par when you factor in all the different costs. However, I didn't find any other places that offer the doors off option (they're probably out there, though). In the end, I was really happy with this tour and wouldn't hesitate to book a Red Rock tour on my next trip to Vegas! read more

I was eager to have the doors off and overall my hair was flapping all over(in a pony tail) and eyelash extensions lol and you get a lanyard in which having an iPhone plus sucked because I couldn't access everything and the photo quality is bad. 5 stars isn't enough for this company! I had booked a private helicopter ride for my husband and I over the Vegas strip with doors off weeks in advance of our trip. On the day of our ride, I checked the confirmation email to be sure of time and location and realized I had booked it for the next day, and our flights left the next morning. I panicked, scrambling to call them to cancel with tears in my eyes since we couldn't make it but instead of canceling our ride they moved it to the same night (when I thought I booked it for) for no extra fees! Once we got there everything was handled perfectly and the entire staff was phenomenal. Even after our helicopter ride was over, the staff went above and beyond and helped us get a ride back to the strip when we were struggling to find an Uber or Lyft.
