It was absolutely breathtaking! I was able to get a groupon for a ride for 2 for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise for him. He wouldn't shut up about how great it was. Beautiful views, very nice and friendly staff! The whole experience was perfect! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

I booked a Vegas strip tour last week for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary and I couldn't have been happier with the decision. I was reluctant to do it based on the tour being less than 30 minutes but it was absolutely worth the money. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helped accommodate my wife who unfortunately broke her foot the day before and was in a wheelchair. We had an amazing time and got some great pictures of the strip and downtown. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone!

This by far was one of my favorite helicopter rides! Walking in staff were very very nice. Katie and Mike were there to answer all of our questions. It's very clean inside and the best part is that they have a game room for you to play games while you wait . My friends and I were like big kids and I loved every part of it. Talk about nostalgia....we played Pac-Man, jenga, and ping pong. We even had a glass of wine before takeoff. The ride itself was amazing! Arthur, our pilot was great. We were able to see beautiful views of the mountains as well as views of the strip. The sun was setting so that made it even better! It was a perfect day and a perfect ride.

We had an amazing experience. The owner and staff were great. Ryan, our pilot was excellent. Zero doubt we were in good hands. Btw...doors off is an absolute MUST!!

When you check in to the location after booking your tickets online, they don't inform you about the additional $10 per phone payment (phone case with a strap around the neck to use in flight to secure the phone from falling). We were charged an extra $20 on top of what we paid and were told it's "protocol" not to take pics in front of the helicopter before flight unless we pay an additional $20. Not only was none of this mentioned but the staff are completely unprofessional and lack any sort of customer success skills, wearing crocs while at work, the pilot Lexie laying on the couch in the customer waiting area when we were told to go there and wait for the flight to be prepared. Yet my BIGGEST issue and WORSE experience was when the PILOT Lexie never informed us of the safety procedures and do's and don't while in flight, which led her to lash out on me mid flight in anger and disrespect because my legs where hanging slightly out (doors off Helicopter) which I have witnessed many people do online and wasn't aware it was a safety hazard and was NEVER told either. This young girl clearly has no respect to customers and was belligerent enough to say "get the **** off my helicopter" and threatening with "If you do that again, I'm heading back" yet If I was told pre-flight or in a polite passive way; I would have never done it again anyways. It shows how entitled and rude this individual is as an employee flying a company helicopter and thinking she owns these company assets as well! Unbelievable disrespect and when confronted, neither her or the other employees said a word to de-escalate the situation, instead we where ignored and met with silence. It's the first time we get a service at such a shady, unprofessional, insincere company that hires kids to run a business without transparency and passion. The only unfortunate reason why we chose Skyline Helicopter Tours was because they offer "doors-off helicopter experience" but I highly suggest you check elsewhere and notice their replies on others reviews (google reviews) to understand what I meant in this review.

I had a great experience and cannot wait to come back!!! The location is very spacious they have a waiting room with couches, a game room with ping pong and a chalk board, another waiting room with a TV and a kitchen where you can make yourself a latte and massage chairs. I didn't expect all the extra features but it was great! Mike was our pilot he was very friendly and gave a great tour of the strip. We flew with the doors off which make the trip even better! I'm a big baby so I thought I would be scared but it ended up being a great time I didn't have any worries :~) will be back soon

Staff are remarkably friendly and attentive, they were pretty clear about safety and instructions. We chose the open door experience above Las Vegas Strip.. and the tour sure made me appreciate Vegas' bright lights. It was really nice seeing it in a different angle and it was quite entertaining. Although I must say that the best view is seated on the left side and the right side is better looking upfront. Overall: it's a fun, exciting experience, and I certainly recommend it to everyone...

I found skyline tours on Groupon. I booked the night tour over the strip for my boyfriends birthday and it was amazing! I got there at my scheduled check in time 7:30pm for my 8pm flight time. Winfield (hope I spelled it right) checked us in, took our $25 airport fee, our weight and then we waited in the waiting area. This was our first time so we were definitely nervous but Winfield was super easy going and went over all the safety instructions and cracked a joke about not ducking and walking funny when we got to the helicopter because only people on movies do that lol the blades are 14 ft high so not to worry. Thank god! Because honestly that was the exact thing I was going to do! The pilot was Justin and he did a great job. The take off and landing was smooth and he pointed out some of the strips attractions. Once our flight was over we had a quick chance to take photos in front of the helicopter while the next couple was being loaded on.

The best ever !!! Starting from customer service in the front desk , they were very polite & welcoming . Going to the instructor being very detailed about their rules & next with the pilot which was very nice & friendly. I literally couldn't stop smiling the whole way starting from the process of signing up . I definitely recommend this company, would definitely come back to do the other tours soon !!!

Ever since I first found out about Sky Combat Ace, it had been sitting firmly on my bucket list…read more Years ago, I even bought myself a gift certificate for their San Diego location, but that location unfortunately closed - apparently because inconsistent weather kept causing flight cancellations. I had made several trips to Las Vegas since then, but somehow never managed to fit it in. Until this past weekend. The staff was helpful and proactive in locating my reservation from years ago, transferring everything into their newer system, and getting my appointment handled without any drama. They even honored the package pricing from then... I booked the first flight of the morning, which turned out to be the perfect choice in the Vegas heat. There was no crowd, no rush, and the weather was great. The experience itself was an absolute blast and did not disappoint. I was grinning cheek to cheek the entire time. After seeing the video, my family and friends said I looked more hyped than scared. Granted, I have done tandem paragliding, heli-skiing, bungee jumping from what was then the world's highest jump in Queenstown, and tandem skydiving more than once. Still, this was completely different, and easily one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. My pilot was Christian, and he was professional, friendly, helpful, and incredibly encouraging. I took the stick for five maneuvers: an aileron roll, barrel roll, loop, hammerhead, and tail slide. Yes, I was basically LARPing as a stunt pilot, and I loved every second of it. I also added the Advanced Maneuvers and Bombing Run packages for $150 each. We even did an 8G turn! After experiencing that, I have a whole new appreciation for the high-G climb scene in Top Gun: Maverick. It looks cool on a screen, but feeling that force against your entire body is something else. I also opted for the $299 Editors add-on, which gives me the raw video files. After editing the footage with a couple of the well-known Top Gun scores, using the anthem for the maneuvers where I had the controls and, of course, "Danger Zone" for the advanced maneuvers and bombing run. I ended up wanting to watch Maverick all over again! Instead of posting mostly photos with this review, I decided the videos would tell the story much better. This is absolutely a must-do experience, especially for anyone who has ever dreamed of flying aerobatics or wondered what it feels like to be inside one of those crazy movie maneuvers. Right now, this easily ranks as one of my most memorable adventures. Five stars, all the way.

Unfortunately, our experience aligns with several others. Often times, only people frustrated with…read moresomething will bother to write a negative review, but those with a positive (or expected) experience will not write a review. So it always tends to be skewed and you have to take reviews with a grain of salt, so I was hopeful that would be the case for us and we wouldn't experience the problems that others have. Just as several others have mentioned here, our flight was cancelled the day of, after we arrived. We booked SEVEN months in advance, paid in full ~ $1200 for family of four. We arrive 30 minutes prior as instructed. They tell us, sorry, we have mechanical issues, so you are cancelled. They say, we tried to call you (we received no call because, guess what, cell service is not the best around the south rim of the grand canyon...). We said, we have seen at least 4 helicopters flying, how about canceling someone else, how do you select? Did everybody else here book 7+ months ago? Who is prioritized? The reality is they overbooked, and because we paid 7 months previous, we paid less (I looked, their prices went up since we had booked). So I guess we were the easy choice to cancel... They offered to rebook the next day, yet they know that nearly nobody can accomodate this, so it is a hollow offer where they know they can "do their part to try to rectify", but also know that nearly everybody would then just cancel, and the problem takes care of itself. Great business model... Everybody that is going to book a helicopter trip over the grand canyon is there on vacation, and nobody is staying anywhere near grand canyon village or the location of this airport. It is an hour drive just from Williams and the main road, one way. Anyone who books this is driving in from Sedona or Vegas or Phoenix for a half/one day trip, and vacation days/time is precious. Its not as though you can just go do something else nearby and wait until the next day... We had one window of time planned, and the time of this flight was it. I suppose that is why they do not really care about customer service, or screwing someone last minute. Its not like they are planning for repeat customers really... Kids were beyond disappointed. The build-up and excitement, only to be completely let down last minute. They cried as we were walking out and leaving because the talk of the helicopter ride was happening for months prior. And now to the refund. The girl at the counter said the refund would take 7-10 days. Ok, thats typical, whatever. 12 days goes by, no refund. E-mail and call. They respond and say that, because its been more then 6 months, we cannot refund back to your card. We can either ACH (and attached a form) or send a check. I respond to tell then to send a check. Who in their right mind is going to provide their bank account number and routing number into a microsoft word file and e-mail it back? Fast forward ~ 21 days. Still no check. So send another e-mail (haven't called yet because that is a whole other experience...). I receive and e-mail back, not a response to my e-mail, but a carbon copy of the first one sent 9 days prior saying I can use ACH or check. Um, huh? So here we are now, still no refund. Fortunately, since we were heading to Vegas that day (was supposed to be right after our helicopter flight), we booked with Maverick for a helicopter flight over Las Vegas the next day. $450 for family of four, and the experience was excellent all around. I'd recommend Maverick, and avoid this company.

That said, the views weren't dramatically different from what you might see flying over Vegas in an airplane. The helicopter definitely gives you a closer and more unique perspective, but I wouldn't say it completely blew me away. Was it worth it? I'd say yes, it's definitely worth trying at least once, especially if you've never been on a helicopter before. However, the views of Vegas themselves were a bit underwhelming for me. Maybe I've just been to Vegas too many times, but the scenery didn't have the same wow factor that others might experience on their first visit.
