This was my first time for my family to indoor skydive. I was very nervous. After the impressive instructor guided us, I was confident that we were going to have a blast. All my personal belongings was put into a locker and the key was given to an employee for safety while I was in the wind tunnel. For FREE! I did not realize how happy I would be after my first wind tunnel ride. Thank you to all the supportive employees. I will be back!!6 Stars.

We had so much fun today! Brock was an awesome teacher and made us all feel comfortable!

What a great experience! My son wanted to go indoor skydiving for his 6th bday so we found SkyVenture on Yelp. I remember passing this place a few years back on my way to Tucson, so glad I remembered it. Dwayne was our instructor and he was absolutely amazing. When my son first stepped out to fly with him, he was freaking out a little, but Dwayne was able to calm him down. Its so loud in the tunnel and you can only understand hand motions and facial expressions, so the fact that he calmed my son down so quick and so easy was amazing! He was patient, knowledgeable, funny and made the experience easy and fun. Thank you so much for helping me create such a wonderful memory with my son for his bday. Definitely recommend this place! Go have an awesome adventure!

Today I took my fiancé to Skyventure for a unique birthday surprise. We had an amazing time! It was such an adrenaline rush. You start off at the reception desk and check in. You then head up the stairs to the wind tunnel where you see many skydivers in the tunnel practicing maneuvers and different types of flights. We sat waiting for about 20 minutes before anyone said anything to us which was kind of odd but we were a little early and we didn't mind so much because we were both enjoying watching the advanced skydivers practicing different flight patterns. After about 20 minutes someone came to get us to watch a short video instructing us on how to properly fly in the tunnel. It was brief but informative. Our instructor came to get us after the video was over and we suited up. We wore a helmet, goggles and a flight suit. There were six people total in the group that was waiting for their time in the tunnel including us. Each person gets either one minute or two minutes, two times a piece depending on what package you buy. It is quite expensive but well worth it. I had a bit of a panic attack initially and I was of course the only person in our group to have "turtle" moment completely flipped over on my back but our instructor was good and he calmed me down and helped me eventually on the second time around I was able to relax and enjoy it more. My fiancé was a natural and enjoyed every moment of it which Is all I could have really asked for. Overall great experience. If you are looking for a unique adventure this is the place to go for it!

I can not say enough about this place! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, eager, and willing to help out in all aspects of your visit. The facilities are incredible and we'll kept. The Hill family has built a home away from home! From the moment you got through the doors you are treated as though you're a regular at the DZ. If you've never scheduled some tunnel time here then you are missing out! I can not wait to get back for more adventures!

Great place! Instructors were so helpful, kind, and patient. It was an experience we will not forget. Great for all ages, we had a six year old but also witnessed a 78 year old do the same experience.

I took my 8 year old nephew and 6 year old Neice here as their Christmas present. The 8 year old did really great and had great form for it. The 6 year old had a good time but comprehending the best body position was a little tricky. The instructors were really great and seemed to have a really good time even though they do this everyday. I would recommend this to any age and anyone, but I think older kids will grasp the concept better and have more fun. One thing I will note is the plexi glass around the flying area is scratched so taking photos and videos have that in it. We bought the DVD from the place to have a video without scratches as we assumed the camera was placed inside and we were wrong. Our purchased DVD was filmed outside the glass as well so also had scratches in the view. I wouldn't recommend buying the DVD and just videoing yourself.

My siblings and I were gifted it, so we went and I tried to act calm, but my siblings videos definitely says otherwise. The whole experience was great from start to finish. The place is really nice and well set up, and everyone was so kind. My instructor, Johnathan, was amazing, he could tell I was scared and really helped calm me down. Even other staff were giving me fist bumps and helping me to be at ease. I definitely screamed (sorry Johnathan ), but I always felt safe from start to finish and taken care of. Honestly, it was such a good experience that I already booked another jump to try again and be a little braver. If you're nervous like me, they really take care of you here!! Even on the plane i forgot about my nerves because we were joking and laughing and having fun. The only issue was how long we had to wait even tho we had a reservation but i understand it all depends on the wind and weather conditions. Overall, really recommend this place but definitely prepare to spend a good chunk of your day waiting.

A morning of high flying action!…read more Where to begin?! So travelled down to Maricopa on a Groupon. Not really sure what to expect as you pull up to a small hanger near the local airfield. Started small talk with the other people waiting until our instructor Mo showed up. First thing out of his van was beautiful happy golden retriever named Rosa. She just helped set the mood for the rest of the morning. Mo was very friendly and informative. He was very quick with getting all the paperwork out of the way so we could get straight to the action. So easy to sign your life away on a waiver, right?! Continued out to the airstrip to watch Mo get all the equipment set as we sat around with intros and watching Rosa's energy. Quick set of safety instructions and the first person strapped in and was off the ground in minutes. Not that a dog should be the highlight of the flying experience, but Rosa was so excited to watch help set up and chase you down the airstrip. I would say she made the entire experience 30% better. Everyone walked away extremely elated with the experience. Mo was very professional and just a fun overall person to be around. We ended up tipping to basically make up the difference of the discounted Groupon. Well worth the full price of the ride. (You'll read in all my reviews that I big supporter of local businesses) Biggest tip...bring a warm jacket and gloves!
