My siblings and I were gifted it, so we went and I tried to act calm, but my siblings videos definitely says otherwise. The whole experience was great from start to finish. The place is really nice and well set up, and everyone was so kind. My instructor, Johnathan, was amazing, he could tell I was scared and really helped calm me down. Even other staff were giving me fist bumps and helping me to be at ease. I definitely screamed (sorry Johnathan ), but I always felt safe from start to finish and taken care of. Honestly, it was such a good experience that I already booked another jump to try again and be a little braver. If you're nervous like me, they really take care of you here!! Even on the plane i forgot about my nerves because we were joking and laughing and having fun. The only issue was how long we had to wait even tho we had a reservation but i understand it all depends on the wind and weather conditions. Overall, really recommend this place but definitely prepare to spend a good chunk of your day waiting.

Absolutely delightful staff, friendly welcoming dog named 'Marly', gift shop and incredibly gentle animals in which all ages can enjoy! Rating overall: 5 Environment: 5 (harsh sun on some days but animals VERY well protected) Fun: 5 Priced: 3/4 Unique: 4/5 At the north west end of Tucson, you're gonna find an 'Ostrich Farm', that has Monster Truck rides, animals from various countries in Europe and England and even Cow-Mouthed (or cownose rays)! Crazy fun place! This attraction in Tucson has certainly changed over the many years, and honestly just gets better! In the oddest of locations, you're going to find a very unique petting-zoo of a handful of animals that you can feed everywhere from rabbits, to Lorikeets, to Tortoises, to European Fallow Deer, kissing goats, sweet donkeys and ducks, hens from Sussex England and yes, even cow-nose Stingrays. The sting rays are male overflows from the Odysea in Phx, have been debarbed and yes, you can also feed them. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise to us in seeing the diversity here. One thing many may now know is that this place even sells Ostrich eggs from Jan-June and cost $40.00 - per egg. Don't worry though, they are basically the mass value of a 'dozen eggs' so if you want to purchase one, know it'll feed several people but if you want to hard boil it, it'll take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the full cooking cycle, first. But, yes, you CAN get Ostrich eggs here to eat! A very fun, informative, well protected for all the animals and an enjoyable spot for in-town guests. I've lived in Arizona my entire life, and have driven past this place more times than I can count…read more Finally after going to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Bisbee and every other wonderful place to see in Arizona the wife and I decided to check it out. We've always wondered if it was as good as the hype. The easy answer: Yes, yes it is! The weather was perfect on the day we went and I would certainly suggest going before it warms up during the summer as all their attractions are outside with the exception of the Stingrays. We had such a fun time, feeding the goats, rabbits and of course the ostriches. The entry fee wasn't bad, and the price of admission gets you tokens for animal food for the various critters here. Love the names painted on the tortoises too. All in all it's good clean family fun, for the youngsters and just the young at heart.

What a fun adventure.. first signing up online was super easy. You do have to put a credit card…read moredown in case you cancel, there's a $25 fee If you chicken out. You show up for you time slot and fill out your paperwork online outside in a covered area. The office staff brings you the paperwork for your signatures, you bring the completed docs inside and pay. If you buy pics you meet your photographer.. like paparazzi you get your own!! Then your tandem partner gets you into your harness and goes through the basics an answer want questions and then you wait. Wes was my tandem partner and he was awesome! Before you know it you're jumping on a trailer that takes you to the plane .. you jump in with your tandem partner ..climb to 13,000 feet and then you're in the sky flying high above Eloy .. you turn to one side and see Phoenix .. mountains .. blue skies .. it's peaceful and amazing Your landing is pretty easy knees up and then extend them .. your tandem partner will tell you when and what you're doing .. you slide on your butt across the grass (how are there no grass stains though.. huh!!) .. The adrenaline is insane., you get your pics and tshirt and I recommend you head to the bar next door to celebrate!! Bucket list item for sure .. go do it .. you won't regret it

I felt very safe. I chose an afternoon flight.. my original flight was canceled due to incoming weather so that made me feel more comfortable. if you're willing, you can actually guide the plane as well. up when you're up that high. I would suggest (if you get cold )to wear a light jacket have fun!!

An amazing hike! Start early, bring gloves, lunch/snacks, and water!…read more My friends and I hiked to the peak via the Sunset trail, taking the loop back down the Hunter trail (7.1 mi). The first part of the hike is very easy, just out in the open. Though, once you start climbing you are climbing! The gardening gloves we brought helped us feel more secure, so that we didn't lose our grip. Honestly, the pictures made it look more scary than doing it, but if you are afraid of heights do take caution. The cables felt very secure and I felt safe the whole time. The top is very rewarding! There are a lot of bees though, so I wouldn't recommend hanging out there too long. We ended up having our lunch at on of the campsite benches in the shade at the end of the Hunter trail, which was very nice. The last part of the hike is walking on the road, but we didn't mind it after the steep and rocky decline. The bathrooms in the park are incredibly nice for a state park and there were also water bottle fillers. This was a great hike and the Park is also very well-maintained!

I checked out Picacho Peak State Park, not to be confused with Pikachu, on a Saturday afternoon…read more Located between Phoenix and Tuscon, Picacho was a hike unlike any I've done before. After arriving, you have to pay a $10 entrance fee per person to hike (a bit annoying for a state park but o well). You're given a pamphlet about the park and then it's time for what you came for. We did Hunter's Trail and there was a good amount of parking close to the start of the trail. It's a difficult trail on Alltrails and for good reason. There are parts of the hike where it's so narrow that only one person can go through at the time. There are other parts of the hike where there are steep inclines. And not only that. You'll have to climb using the cables that have been attached to the rock formations. Pro tip: bring gloves. That also means you have to be careful on the way down as you're going down on a decline. Which will be hard on your knees. It's all worth it though, because once you climb the mountain, you'll have breathtaking views of the park. And you'll be so high up that you can see both Tucson and Phoenix in the distance. All in all, if you go at a decent pace, the hike will take you 3-4 hours. There's at least one other trail. And you can also camp in the state park. Last but not least, there's a little museum in the visitor's center. And plenty of facilities. You'll get quite the workout!

A morning of high flying action!…read more Where to begin?! So travelled down to Maricopa on a Groupon. Not really sure what to expect as you pull up to a small hanger near the local airfield. Started small talk with the other people waiting until our instructor Mo showed up. First thing out of his van was beautiful happy golden retriever named Rosa. She just helped set the mood for the rest of the morning. Mo was very friendly and informative. He was very quick with getting all the paperwork out of the way so we could get straight to the action. So easy to sign your life away on a waiver, right?! Continued out to the airstrip to watch Mo get all the equipment set as we sat around with intros and watching Rosa's energy. Quick set of safety instructions and the first person strapped in and was off the ground in minutes. Not that a dog should be the highlight of the flying experience, but Rosa was so excited to watch help set up and chase you down the airstrip. I would say she made the entire experience 30% better. Everyone walked away extremely elated with the experience. Mo was very professional and just a fun overall person to be around. We ended up tipping to basically make up the difference of the discounted Groupon. Well worth the full price of the ride.
