We went on Friday 05/01 at 4 pm and did the two flight deal. We were paired with another group of 5, which was fine. Our instructor was Adam and he made the overall experience such a fun time! His attitude was great. He was spunky, upbeat, informative and made everyone feel comfortable and at ease going into our flights. They've got a pretty good system going on there to make things move seamlessly and effortlessly. All the other employees we interacted with were also very nice. We're excited to continue going back and learning more about the skill so we can better control our bodies and movements to be ideally be able to do this individually one day! Great experience for my grandsons, ages 9 and 10, but was really surprised that each flight was a total of one minute! So of course you need to buy more than the "2 flights one person" package. That was pretty disappointing. By the time I bought them each and additional 2 minutes each , a "fly high" package for an additional $25 which allows them to go a little higher in the wind tunnel, plus tip it gets pretty pricey. Of course you don't have to buy all the upgrades but who wants 2 minutes of flying low?! read more

10000000/10. Hands down, SUCH a great time. My family and I came here today to celebrate my dad's birthday. My mom made reservations for 11am and they were very prompt with starting our session. When we arrived, my dad and brother checked in, filled out waivers, and got weighed. Once all of that was out of the way, we headed upstairs to wait our turn. The wind tunnel is super rad. It's large and a bit noisy, but the staff supply suits, goggles, ear plugs, and helmets. The instructors are also *INCREDIBLY* knowledgeable and patient, very easy to understand. The whole process was broken down and explained, and we had the chance to watch the group before ours so we got an idea of what to do. The initial teaching session isn't longer than 5 or 10 minutes, and my brother and dad were seated in the waiting area for their turn quickly. It was a total blast to watch, honestly. The activity itself is not my bag, but my brother and dad had such a great time and my mom and I had a lot of fun watching them. The instructor was true to his word - he gently redirected the flyers when needed, and made sure they got the most out of their time. At the bottom of the tunnel, there's a springy net and there's also a light that flashes when there's 10 seconds left, so you're prepared on when it is ending. Once the session itself ended, our instructor got to show his own skills and showed us how it was REALLY done lol. My dad and brother also each got a certificate at the end. We opted to purchase both the video and the pictures from the actual business, and my mom received them via email within a few hours. There was also the option of paying an additional $20 for another flight after the session, if we wanted, and our instructor took us through what packages they offer if we feel like we'll be frequenting iFLY. iFLY is a cool and unique experience. On this visit, we brought my stepson in for a flight experience as a birthday gift. We were able to snag a Black Friday deal for 10 flights for up to 5 family members. My husband and stepson took flight on this visit, but I have experienced flying here in the past. The instructors are friendly and help to ease any nerves before flying. Prior to being fitted with flying gear you watch a short safety and instructional video. My family really enjoyed the experience and had a lot of fun. Our package also included photos and videos of their flight. Took my son and daughter here for my son's birthday. The staff were super friendly, nice, helpful and attentive. When checking in at the bottom floor they ask you if you want to do an extra two flights for $20 I believe, just say yes! My son thought that he was going to be too afraid and didn't want to do any extra and they basically talked him into doing an extra flight for $20 when you're upstairs. They definitely do not give you a good deal once you walk up those stairs LOL The extra video you can get recorded was basically a waste of money, the quality wasn't that great and you really don't get to see too too much of facial expression at all angles. I paid extra for them to take my son higher, and I'm sure they have a base marker of how high to go, but I didn't think it was very high. *shrugs* You pay for 60 seconds of flight time, in reality when they take you back out the door is at 50-55 seconds which kind of sucks even if it's just 5 seconds. Esp when you're paying so much for indoor Skydiving. Either way my son enjoyed it. My daughter did not. But customer service was pretty good so a 4 star instead of a 3. I cannot say enough about this amazing field trip! They are super well organized! We are a homeschool co-op and 40 people signed up to fly. They started us as one big group and did a STEM lesson on how it all works..then we were split into 4 groups for rotations: STEM activity (younger kids made parachutes, older kids did math to try to estimate what wind velocity certain items needed to be able to fly. This was tested at the end), preflight prep, fly time, and STEM lab. It was super fun for everyone! Chaperones got to fly at the kid price. So my husband and I flew. My youngest (3 yrs old) also flew. My oldest who is ASD flew and LOVED it. He did amazing. Our flight instructor was kind, engaging and encouraging. My grandson had a fantastic 14th birthday there! Everyone was very helpful from the front desk to the instructors. His flight instructor was funny but made sure everyone understood the hand signals. Answered questions etc. Grandson really loved his time. Very professional and they they really want the kids to have a good time. Also they were extremely helpful in a tough situation. I, I MADE a horrible mistake. I thought I had made my grandson's birthday flight for Sunday Feb15 at 2:30 PM. I did not realize that I had actually made it for Saturday Feb 14. Even though I read all the warning about cancellations etc. I called to ask if they could do anything for me because I could not disappoint my grandson. I believe it was Jackson who was very sympathetic and said he'd help me because they never want a disappointed kid. They did not have to do that per their website. One other issue is that I had paid for the video and pictures but I did not see it in the email. I called 3 days later to inquire and the person promised to fix it right away. In their defense I had made the reservation for Saturday so that could have caused the issue. The fact that he got the video and pictures out right away was fantastic. Also the videos were extremely good quality and better than our 2 phones. The instructor made sure of it because he positioned my grandson in front of their camera which made a big difference. He also positioned him in front of my wife since he saw her taking videos. Obviously I can't say enough good things about them. Well worth the money. read more

For my boyfriends birthday he wanted to check out iFly. He has been skydiving before but never indoor so he has been intrigued in trying it out. I was easily able to purchase a package online and pick a time and date that worked for us. We chose a weekday as weekends are a bit busier and a bit more expensive. They did have a large amount of availability. They also have the option to add video or photo to your package. Once arriving we are able to quickly check in, sign a waiver and head upstairs for our time slot. You have the option to add a high flight or additional flights at this time as well. They have a nice backdrop for great photos and an open seating area to watch all of the fliers. Before flying they have an entire group of flyers watch a training video and go to the counter to suit up. His group had 6-7 people. The trainer walked everyone flying through the process and answered any questions anyone may have. He was really nice and thorough, especially as most of the group was children. Each flight lasts 60 seconds and during that time they take photo or video if you purchased the add ons. I purchased both for him but I wouldn't again as I got much better photos and videos than they did, as they were blurry and showed him exiting. It was a waste of money doing so. He had a great time though and my daughter and I enjoyed watching him and the others fly. This is a perfect indoor thrill activity to escape the heat. We decided an ifly experience would make for a special fifth grade graduation gift for my son, and we were right!! We allowed him to invite one friend and my daughter joined in on the fun too... all had a blast! They each did two flights including the option to go extra high, and loved every second. I took my four grandsons here. We bought the package for $500 for 5 people with two flights each. It was unique and different. I thought Adam was enthusiastic, pleasant and engaging. His demonstration at the end of our time was pretty incredible as he did flips and turns inside the silo. Each return that each individual takes inside the silo is about 60 seconds long. Most of that is eating up with learning to do hand signals to communicate, so it doesn't last very long. Our cost was about $50 per person per minute. 20 additional dollars if you want to go up about 15 feet or so higher. The standard purchase is just a float 4 feet off the ground. They don't really tell you that until after you've paid and experienced. Your "flight". Nice people here. We had a really good time! read more

This business and concept is so much fun, I have been back a few times and enjoyed every time I've been there, last time they had people training for the indoor flying championships, and we got to watch some professional indoor skydivers doing numerous tricks and routines, which was really cool to see, I finally figured out how to go forward and backwards, and how to do a flip the last timethis is a great thing to do with friends and family. iFLY was a fun, interesting experience. It's something to try! My biggest applause definitely goes to the trainer my friend and I had. He is outstanding: friendly and personable, skillful and knowledgeable, and patient and motivational. While it's worth trying once, the time goes by too quickly for what you pay. Arguably, it's short so as to simulate an actual free-fall from an airplane. This is an "artificial" environment, however; and longer times would justify the repeat costs. I had a good time here for my birthday last year. I just happen to be in the area and remembered to write a review. If you like thrills but don't necessarily want to go as far as jumping out of a plane or off of a bridge, Indoor Skydiving if a good option. The staff is very professional and my instructor had years of experience actually jumping out of real planes. There is an option to go higher up for a small additional fee. You do go through a short video training before skydiving. You line up in the mechanism and one by one take turns flying! You have to position yourself in a particular way so that the wind can pick you up for easy, graceful flying. I did embarrassingly fall over on my back like a turtle at one point because I wasn't getting the position right, but eventually I got the hang of it and went as high as possible. Really give credit to the other participants. Most of them were much older than me (keep in mind...I am not young) and they put me to shame. I booked the 2-flight experience with high flight for my son's 21st birthday through Groupon, and while the staff was friendly and the facility clean and organized, the actual flight experience fell short of expectations, especially given what we paid for. We sat through the class and watched the group before us go well beyond their 30-minute time slot. They had plenty of flight time and several high flights, which looked exciting and matched what was advertised. Unfortunately, because their session ran long, our group (including my son and his friends, who paid separately) was rushed. The entire session lasted about 15 minutes. For the high flight portion, my son was lifted quickly into the air once and immediately brought back down, nothing close to the multiple high passes we had just witnessed in the previous group. I do have video footage showing the difference in flight time and high flight experiences between the two sessions. It's clear that our group didn't receive the same level of attention or time, which left my son's birthday experience feeling rushed and underwhelming. His friends were especially disappointed, and I can't blame them. Again, the staff was polite and welcoming, but this experience felt uneven and not what was promised. For an event like a milestone birthday, that matters. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures more consistency across sessions, especially when guests are paying extra for enhancements like high flight. read more

Something fun & different! After a week of non- stop golfing and "lunching" we were ready to mix it up and decided to impromptu check this place out after driving past it so many times. We booked a flight (two, minute-long flights in their air chamber plus a "high fly" where the instructor takes you to the top of the air chamber). It was about $100/person. We had a blast! The majority of those flying in our group were under the age of 15, so we did feel a bit silly in our adult jumpsuits, but it was still worth it! We took our 7 year old son for his first flights today as a birthday gift! We tried it a few years ago and it was a great time. Kaiden was the instructor this time and he was great! Very funny, patient, and helpful. Check in was a bit confusing because the guy at the cash register made communication difficult but once we got through the front, it was smooth sailing. This is a cool experience for both adults and kiddos. Especially those of us who do not want to do actual skydiving lol Gear is included and you can do add ons at the end if you decide you like it more than you thought. It would be nice if there was a picture wall or if pictures could be taken with the gear on while holding the certificate. After a great start we went upstairs and found a class already in flight. Wife and daughter went to suit up and their instructor was funny and informative but when another employee tried to help with giving some confidence to a young girl who was scared, this male instructor with a full beard snapped at his coworker and embarrassed her in front of the group standing there. Later my wife spoke to the manager and he said it would be dealt with and was totally inappropriate. The instructor went on to give a great class and everyone had great flights with him so maybe he just had a bad day but hopefully learned something in the process. Do not book more than 2 flights for your first time doing this. It's much cheaper to return later than to book more flights at the beginning. My wife (who went skydiving once before we met) took me here as a surprise. She thought it was fun generally and said it was somewhat reminiscent of a skydiving free fall. On the other hand I absolutely hated it. Felt like someone punched me in the stomach afterwards. She had paid for a total of 8 minutes between the 2 of us and a high flyer which was supposed to be for me and we only used about 5 minutes because I did not want to do it again after the first minute (did try, but made them let me leave the chamber early). They did let us switch the high flyer to my wife and offered to let her fly more but she also had enough at that point as well. Again: only buy 2 minutes to start just in case you don't like the experience. Before doing this I did have skydiving on my bucket list. Not so sure now. read more

This was a DREAMMMMM! If you love adventure and experience like me, check this place out!! Trust me, it's worth every penny!!! My sister and I went here together and it created such a core memory for us. The staff was extremely friendly and very detailed with instruction leaving us feeling confident in what to do! You watch an instructional video as well so you will be very prepared. Our instructor was super chill! He had been doing this for years and was very knowledgable. You gear up, enter the tube to jump and then YOU'RE OFF (with the instructor of course)! You get two jumps and are allowed to do little tricks with the instructors help/permission. A fun and accessible experience in flying/free fall! I took my fiance here for her birthday, and we had an incredible time even though she was only up for doing one flight experience. The staff is incredible. They make you feel comfortable with all aspects of the learning and doing of free fall. The place is replete with all the gear and setup that you need to enjoy a great, free fall experience. The instructors make you feel very comfortable with what you're about to go through and ensure that you have a good time regardless of your experience level/age. I've been skydiving in Eloy, Arizona eight times and I would compare this experience to the free fall equivalent of four skydives- We bought three flights each, and I'd say that was just about right. I personally feel that while you're a novice the high flight is unnecessary though. I'm looking forward to my next time back to enjoy some high flight time. The jumpsuits they provide our pretty cool helmets fit well and goggles are satisfactory. One tip I'd offer is to get at the front of the entry line to the chamber as it provides slightly more flight time than the others, if that's of interest to you. read more

For my husband's birthday I took him to iFLY Phoenix. I had no idea what to expect but wanted us to share a little adventure for his special day. Online I purchased 2 flights that included a high fly for each of us. Our instructor Matt Loomis was very good and he gave clear instructions that made the experience enjoyable. You wear your masks while you are in the facility up until you put on the flight suit, I admit that part made me leary with Omicron/Deltacron being the latest Covid19 variants. But due to the wind force in the tunnel I can't imagine breathing while wearing the masks. We were there for about two hours total. At the end of the experience you have the option to tip your instructor via cash credit card and venmo. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I would definitely do it again. read more

Everyone was sweet but it gets a whole lot better once you go upstairs you go to the desk and meet the instructors for your classes, here I never expected to have this much fun for the first time. Clean and super friendly staff. It was so clean I thought it was brand new until I saw the reviews when I went post mine. Haha This place is a blast. As far as covid, they check your temp, wear masks and enforce masks. I definately recommend upgrading to the high fly if you feel comfortable because the experience is only 1 minute long. Also plan ahead if you want them to take photos so you get everything taken care of before you head upstairs for they must be paid for ahead of time. If you have little ones like us you may want to take them upstairs to watch a bit before you decide to pay. There are no refunds. I am not sure if they would let someone else take their place, I forgot to ask. Definately worth experiencing. Right now there are porta potties out front to use. I forgot to ask what was going on. Our first time here was awesome! I bought the family pack of 10 flights for 4 of us to share. 2-3 flights per person is a good amount. On the first flight you're getting a feel for it, so the subsequent flights are more fun as you try turning and maybe even going backward and forward. I didn't opt for a high fly but my family members did and it looked fun. You are there for a couple of hours between the orientation, suiting up, flying, and waiting your turn. We had someone take photos and videos for us but the professional ones are nice too. We each got one of those as well as a cool souvenir. read more

WOOOOOW. I'm still "shook" and it's been a couple of days since I visited... We arrived not knowing what to expect. It was Friday evening around 6:10, and there were a few people ahead of us. The cashier did her best to get everyone helped, and then it was finally our turn. We were unaware of the different flight times but we surprisingly made it just in time for the 6:30pm session.. We were also informed that it's better to make a reservation online prior to arriving. We were able to get into the 6:30pm flight so we checked in the computer. We were weighed, we paid, and we were given our wristbands. We headed upstairs and our mini flight class began. The video is very informative and it's pretty quick. Tyler went over the flight positions you should maintain and went over some rules. We also learned the different hand signs the employees use in the tunnel, and some other cool facts. We then headed to the counter to get all geared up. (Suits, ear plugs, goggles) Tyler then informed us he would be assisting us throughout the whole process and even be the one in the wind tunnel with us. Once geared up we headed towards the wind tunnel and sat down single file. One by one we would get one minute each inside the wind tunnel and we did that twice. (You get two turns of one minute each) Best experience ever. I was terrified upon arriving but there's nothing to be scared of. I left that night wanting to come back again asap. Tyler was the best!!! He was so friendly and knowledgeable! I'm asking for him next time! We paid about $90 each and there are also add ons you can add to your flight. (High flight, VR experience) Definitely worth it! Make sure to wear tennis shoes!!!! Also wear comfortable clothing and I found it better to have my hair tied then down. read more
