Some people had generators and fans while others like us just brought the car. I would definitely recommend going in a pickup truck or bring chairs since it is kinda hard to see from inside a SUV. Also make sure you bring a radio to hear the movie. Although the website says to come at seven, the movie realistically won't start until nine or so. ( at least in the summer I'm not sure about any other time) if you are planning on bringing little kids, just know they probably won't make it through the whole movie. The food at the little snack place was good. My popcorn was great, but my friends didn't love there's. My friend got a burger and said it was really good!

The "Route 66 Twin Drive-In Theater also has Route 66 in its favor. It's unique "no speaker poles" parking allows the 1st cars arriving to set the pace. Tall vehicles in the back (where "Flo" & I park), gets to see the crowd, as well as the movie. The "experience" is why I attend drive-in's. Watching people with their creative pick-up truck seating, people walking around with their buddies, kids in their PJ's & families being families. During the movie, another guest of a certain ethnicity was using their phone. I asked them twice to turn it off, and I also notified the staff. The staff told me that Marcus Theatres policy is to issue one warning and then remove the guest if the behavior continues. Unfortunately, that policy was not enforced. The situation became even worse when the guest threatened to hit me multiple times. At that point, this was no longer just a distraction during a movie. It became a safety issue. I am extremely disappointed that the theater failed to handle the situation properly, especially after I reported it and was told what the policy was. Because of this, I will not be coming back.
