Still just an okay experience for me. Ordered tickets online so I didn't have to worry about visiting the box office. When we arrived, they scanned my tickets and directed me to the theater assigned. This last visit, we did not order snacks, but I did notice that the soda machines are just back to the regular soda fountains and not those annoying touch screen ones that could never keep up with the demand. They have soda machines on both sides as well as icee machines and there is a space in the middle for napkins and other items. Seating is nice in all of the theaters since it is assigned, and I like being able to recline. The only theater you can't recline in is the IMAX theater, so I hardly watch IMAX movies. The seats we were in were still a little messy from the previous movie, so we had to knock off some popcorn and some candy. The floors were somewhat clean, but probably still needed to be swept, but it was probably not possible to do since this weekend was really busy. The floor was also a bit sticky so that's annoying. The bathroom stalls were not cleaned very well. The line in the ladies room was super long because there were only a few stalls to use since the others were messy or just gross. I wish they would do some updates or find other ways to make this Ronnie's a little nicer. It just has an okay feel to it. Nothing too fancy. read more

We live in the city so I tend to not make it down in this area much, but a friend bought tickets to a show for us and I honestly don't know why I haven't been here before. Huge theater with an arcade, restaurants, and a bar. Which was a perfect start to the Taylor Swift Release. The theater itself is super clean and the seats are awesome - large and recline really far. This is a very busy movie theatre with an enormous parking lot, an arcade, and everything to make a memory filled experience! The restrooms are fairly clean, and there are multiple people waiting for everyone to leave each movie so they can clean. We saw "song sung blue" on a Tuesday matinee which was so good. They have the lounge seating which Is good. Swear to got they had 10 previews before the movie finally started which is super annoying. I've been to Ronnie's several times and the theater itself is your typical movie theater experience. I love that they have an arcade and restaurants in the theater, but the downside is they're all way too overpriced. I went there for my mom's bday to see Fantastic Four. I didn't like how difficult it was to find the theater since the theater number wasn't on the ticket, we ended up going to the wrong showing and missing part of the movie because of it. This hasn't been an issue at other movie theaters, and I think this is one thing that they could improve on. read more

It had been yrs since i went yo movies. I found their app and downloaded it. Very user friendly, ordered tickets. And ws even able to order the food beforehand, eliminating the need to stand in line. Once arrived, outside very clean and modern. Inside was as impressive. Electronic ticket scanned on phone, employee told us what theater. Went to food pickup and gave them my name, food was there in 2 minutes. Went inside the theater and was impressed how much room between seats and that each one was like sitting in a recliner. Very comfortable. Just a heads up, on Tuesdays right now they have 6 dollar tickets available for movie club member which cost nothing to sign up. I would definitely recommend this as something to do once a week to get out of the house. read more

Really nice: it reminds me of that rich dad of your friend who tricks out his basement to be a movie theater with recliners and all of it, only a much more expensive, higher-end version. Remember: it's really hard to have an intimate encounter when you're in a completely separate chair, so go elsewhere or act accordingly. read more

I came here on Monday to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Seamless experience from start to finish. Purchased my tickets online (I use Fandango), and was able to choose my seats. I came with my parents so got to use the senior discount which was appreciated! No snacks for us, so can't review the food. We were the only ones in the theater besides two others, it was a nice and relaxing experience. Chairs are comfy, sound quality and picture quality are good. Lots of parking in the lot. read more

This theater is not going to be in business much longer and it will be 100% because of their apathetic management. It is obvious that they do not care. Everything at this theater has gotten much worse in the last few months. The place is filthy (especially the restrooms), their food is old and stale, their bar is disgusting. They have flying insects in the theaters! To make all of this even worse, this is the second time that I ordered tickets for a regular (non-3d) show and it's 3d. Complained to Manager and he couldn't care less. He actually got aggressive with me. If Marcus upper management wants this theater to close, keep doing what you're doing, but the residents of this area would prefer you either fix it or sell it. read more

Extremely disappointed in the theater. We had a showing and were told the theater and went to find people in our seats. Apparently staff told those people to sit there, leaving us without them. Informed a theater was closed causing the theater to rearrange movies, maing a headache for my showing. Parking is general for all the local stores , most of the time you can get fairly close but the lot can get busy at times with people and cars going all directions. The movies theater is clean and comfortable. Everything is always pricy to buy there but average for a theater. It is easy to get tickets on line or at the theater. read more

This is one of my favorite theaters in St. Louis! I always enjoy my visit when I go! The place is consistently clean, service good, and has the awesome theater seating with reclining seats! I love those things. We bought out tickets online along with pre-ordered food snacks. So arrival and check-in was smooth and fast (gotta love technology!). While attempting to return to my seat after retrieving my blanket from my car, I was stopped by ticket taker who aggressively demanded my ticket, despite my explanation that it was left in the auditorium, he still wouldn't let me in. He even followed me to the concession stand and still demand for my ticket, once again I didn't have my ticket since I left it in my seat. I observed other people, who appeared to be of a different race, being allowed to pass without similar scrutiny. This differential treatment made me feel targeted and discriminated against based on my race. read more

For anything with 1.9:1 aspect ratio content, the IMAX here is the best bet in the area. It needs an upgrade to IMAX Laser from IMAX Xenon and there is some wear starting to show around the edges, but there isn't anything better that isn't a good long drive. For things without enhanced aspect ratio content, I think you're better off at the UltraScreen at the Marcus Chesterfield, which now has laser projection. Of all the Marcus locations in the area, this one does have the best food (Zaffiro's Pizza). read more

Ronnies has recently changed management to Marcus Theaters. This means, new carpeting, new seats, updated concessions, and a brand new restaurant! The front entrance can be confusing- there used to be two box offices, but now, only the right side operates as a box office. If you prefer not to speak to a human, you can use a ticketing kiosk instead. They are located just inside the front doors and then even further inside. If you order your tickets online through Fandango or Atom, you'll still need to use the kiosk to print your actual ticket. You can use your credit card or you can use the confirmation # to print your tickets. Theater tickets are high across the industry. They are high here, too. To get around the high prices, try going on Tuesday when the prices are just $5. The seats recline in all theaters (another reviewer said not in the Imax theater- I cannot confirm since I have not been to that room). Some theaters have heated reclining seats- but I think the ticket prices are higher in those theaters. There is a new restaurant that serves your typical bar food and drinks. It is located on the left side of the theater right when you walk through the front doors. You can bring food and drink from the restaurant into the theater. There is a concession stand for your typical popcorn, hot dogs, candy and soda. The lines move quickly since they no longer fill the sodas and slushes behind the counter. There are Pepsi branded machines that you will use yourself- this also means free refills before and after the show! Sign up for the free rewards program- free popcorn on Tuesdays and $5 off concessions once you spend a certain amount. Opportunities: -additional Pepsi machines are needed. There are only 5 machines total. Not very efficient when there are a large number of people waiting- especially if someone has never used a fancy new Pepsi machine before. read more
