We booked a very expensive European vacation with Top Business Class for our family and we had to cancel our entire trip due to our 7-year-old son's relapse of Leukemia. Top Business Class would not refund us even with a doctors note proving this terrible news. They said they'd hold on to our funds for a future booking once our son was well and able to travel. We recently tried to rebook our trip and we were told NO. Apparently they have a policy to only hold funds for one year. Our son had to undergo treatments and a bone marrow transplant and then had to recover from all that. It take a long time to heal from all that! They have NO humanity at all. Buyer beware, had to file a complaint with AMEX & BBB and still haven't received my money back. 2 business class tickets to Singapore where the rules had changed during COVID and needed a letter from Singapore Government. Called Top Business Class while at the airport and Drake and Max both promised they would allow us to rebook our tickets. Max had resigned and went to another company. Drake is still there and has blocked my phone numbers. When calling the 800 toll free number they said "all requests have to go to Drake". Drake had stolen $7,700 from me, sucks that I had been such a loyal customer for so many years. Even when they screwed up my other international flights and missed legs to my destination I continued to go to them. Writing as many reviews as I can to warn others of their dishonest and blatant theft. Check their numerous BBB complaints as that is what it normally takes to get your money back. This company is a bunch of CROOKS with a travel agency license.  My family of 3 bought multi-city tickets from SFO to Amsterdam and then on to Lisbon (round trip) last July. We arrived at the airport 4 hours ahead of the departure, but did not know that Top Business Class had transposed my daughter's last name when they were.choosing our seats. So, of course, there was no way that the airline would let her on the plane. Note: our receipts ALL showed all of our names correctly. After numerous calls to our sales rep, Russell Malik, who assured us that he would get it fixed before the gate closed 30 minutes before the flight, we had no option but to buy her a one-way ticket to Amsterdam for almost $1900, praying that we could get her home. Even though Russell fully admitted that the error was TOTALLY their fault and they would take care of it, we are STILL waiting for our money 10 months later and it does not appear to be forthcoming! Repeated calls got us nowhere, and upper management got on the phone twice in the last year to say that the company would take care of it. But nothing ever materializes, and it has been exhausting! Do yourself a HUGE favor and don't do any more business with these slick-talking jerks who will hang you out to dry. They are the most unethicall folks in the airline world. I have been working with one for the agents to book flights from LAX to Moscow via Istanbul. The agent was nice, patient and understanding and I chose to continue booking through Topbusinessclass even though I had similar quotes from other companies. I was very clear about my requirements, discussed changes/cancellation options and baggage allowance because one leg of the itinerary must have been purchased in economy class due to the booking class availability ( MOW to IST 11/15). I finalized the itinerary and thought I was all set for a comfortable journey. Well... I am very glad that I did not relax for more than 24 hours... otherwise I would have ended up with non refundable $5200 ticket that did not meet my requirements at all. When I tried to import my booking into Turkish Airlines (TK) app, I realized that I had 2 separate PNRs (records) with 3 flights in one and one leg from MOW to IST in a different one. Being an experienced traveler I kew it was a problem! After checking the rules online and then calling TK directly I knew that this one leg booked in a separate PNR and in Ecofly airfare will completely screw up changeability of my return and make my return travel a nightmare because: - This one leg was fully non-changeable!!! and non-refundable. Seat assignment for $64, check in bag for $80, carry on 8 kg. The fact that I would have been flying business class on long-haul flight did not make a difference. - Second disaster was that because this leg was booked separately, I would have to collect my bag (if they let me check it in!) in Istanbul, go through security, immigration, then check my bag again for the transatlantic flight, which is an absolute disaster for a woman of my age and travelling alone, and is simply impossible in 2hrs30min connecting time. Non of the major issues above have been discussed or mentioned besides economy class for 1 leg!!!! If I only relaxed and not investigate all of it myself, I would find out all these restrictions at Moscow airport and will probably end up missing my flight from IST to LAX and being stuck at the airport since the ticket cannot be changed through the airline directly. I did not get any valid explanation from the agent I worked with. I am grateful though that my SOS texts and phone calls that day were answered and the refund is in process. It would have been late tomorrow.... The agents, especially international and business class offerings! should know every detail/ticketing rule/connections requirements/airports specifics. We are talking about very expensive tickets regardless the discount. This is the WORST experience so far. I'm giving it 1 star because no star is not an option. Also, because they gave me a great deal on my flights to India. When i wanted to make changes to my tickets, everything went downhill. My agent Naomi, is either untrained, unskilled or a part of a SCAM that she is unaware of. She made me travel all the way to India without a return ticket in hand- telling me when we exchange tickets this is the most normal way to do it. So that I will save money. My travel was so important that I had no choice but to trust her. I was going for 2 weeeks. I did not have my return tickets until 2 days before my return. I'm not even mentioning the pathetic customer service I recieved during the follow up calls/emails. Then she makes us fill out an exchange form. Tells us that our tickets will be booked shortly, and we're ready to go home. This is also the ticket we didn't want but had no option because I had to return to work. After a few hours she tells us that those tickets were gone. So now we have no return tickets again! She told me that we can earn credits for the travel we didn't use. Which turns out to be BS. She said that she responded this way because I "pressured" her to give me a response. Apparently a customer service agent can't take pressure and blames the client. The client is expected to remain calm 2 days before travel from India to US with no tickets in hand. We had to cancel out tickets with her. the money that they stole from us. Book ourselves with Expedia. Spend $4.7K and return home. There is still no explanation on the stolen return tickets of ours, which we clearly didn't use. DO NOT trust google reviews. I have been informed that a travel voucher issued on 4/11/2024 number 1574000610940 (confirmed by Russell on 7/24/2024 at 7:31pm) and then refunded $4800 to topbusinessclass.com, and we are in end of July 2024 and they have not refunded my money back to me for a flight that Qatar cancelled back in January 2024. Need I say more. Jay/topbusinessclass are liar, the company is not ethical, the owner should be behind bars, the people working there are crooks and the department of justice and consumer affairs along with the travel industry allow these people to continue to scam people. Beware of dealings with this company, especially with an incompetent and inefficient sales agent named German Pinkhasov! German booked me on a business class flight to Europe, and the price was pretty good: $3100, for flights to/from Phoenix, AZ to Zagreb, Croatia and returning from Prague Czechoslovakia. A month before the flight of August 25, 2021, I had a serious medical issue and told German to postpone my flight. I immediately gave him new dates for April, 2022, as he requested. I started receiving notifications from British Airways a week before the original trip was to depart, reminding me of my flight leaving August 25. I even received an email from German, wishing me a good journey! I contacted German immediately and asked him if he cancelled the flight and rebooked for April. I didn't hear back from him for 3 weeks, until August 26 (day AFTER flight), telling me I had to fill out a cancellation form and pay $550. I called and told him I would not pay $550 and fill out form as I had never been told about this and it was AFTER THE FACT. German did some double-talking and refused to be accountable for HIS mistake. (Note: I had complained to him several times before that his follow-through was miserable when he failed to take action or return calls.) He told me to call British Airways and NOT to mention that I was dealing with a travel agent. Upon calling them, I was told the flight had never been cancelled and there would be no refund or credit. German then told me it was MY fault because I didn't sign the cancellation form I received the day after the flight had departed. I have followed up with German MANY times, only to receive the same excuse that it was MY fault. He refuses to be accountable for ANYTHING. I sent him copies all of my texts and emails that proves his inefficiencies and incompetence. Yet, he places the blame on me. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I intend to get in touch with Top Business Class headquarters, will report this to Better Business Bureau and will use all the social media outlets available to get the word out. I'm retired now, but was a journalist and vice president of the largest advertising agency in the world. I won't stop until I receive action and credit. I have been using this company for 12+ years now. They always save me money and provide the best flight options available. Recently, I have booked all my domestic travel with them as well. Dale is a rockstar and has patience with my specific requests (airline, flight times, etc). I'm shocked to read some of these other reviews as I have never had a problem over the 12 years I have been leveraging their services. Customer Service Agent Vienna Castillo was very helpful in the beginning. However when I requested to cancel my booking before the 24 hour window was up, she said no problem but then kept me on the phone and in a conference call until it was well past the 24 hr window. Then claimed we could cancel but no refund, just credits through them and she would have to rebook, not the airline. I also asked where she was because I heard a rooster in the background. She said the office was in the states but she was working from home in the Philippines, which is usually not a problem, but in this case may have caused the 24 hr window confusion on her part. So I'm out over $5K. Now she says there is a cancellation fee of $600!! I am very disappointed with this company and urge people not to use it. I am not sure how to deal with this review. Jay at Top Business Class was very accommodating and appeared to be very competent but the results were less than quality. He would agree to do something like find the best seats but then would disappear for days or weeks. So many unreturned phone calls and emails especially when the departure date closed in. He had us in Premium Economy on all of the legs of a rather complicated itinerary but the airline didn't have that priority level! He insisted for me not to worry - "they knew what they were doing". Well they didn't and my wife and I ended up in middle seats in different rows on our last 9 1/2 hour leg from Europe! This despite having purchased the tickets well in advance. Too many other disappointments to relate. A bit of a nightmare the whole way. I won't use them again despite a coupon they sent to me after all of this was over. Of course the coupon is only good thru them. Importantly, I noticed that all of the good Yelp reviews were in 2018 and that there was a gap to 2021 where all of the reviews suddenly were one star. When I went back to him with dates he claims that I should have cancelled (despite having a note in capital letters attached to the booking that consumer was NOT to contact airline directly. Avoid doing business with this company. We dealt with an agent in the Philippines and whereas he was very nice, he was not truthful in our interactions. As an example, we never received frequent flyer miles for our flights, despite presenting FF numbers ahead of time and at the gates. We have never received these credits despite hours on the phone and computer. BTW, Top Business Class does not return emails or calls, at least in our case. The frosting on the cake was we had booked a RT flight from Washington to Palermo, stopping in Munich on the way there. A week before our scheduled departure, our travel company sent an email stating there was no flight from Munich to Palermo. I wrote Lufthansa who verified they had contacted Top Business Class (TBC) about the change in flights. TBC NEVER contacted us about this change and we scurried to get another flight from Frankfurt instead, costing us an extra hotel night, meals and transfer from our hotel to the hotel from which we started our tour. In essence we spent $500 extra dollars and had to go a day earlier than planned. TBC has never responded to this error nor admitted fault. Beware read more

To start out I have been flying for business and pleasure for over 40 years. I have to say hands down this was the worst travel experience I have ever had. If you suspect that once they get your money your customer service will be nonexistent, this is your place. My original trip was booked and COVID hit. No refund but a credit with the airline was given. Very little information on how this credit would be handled even after MULTIPLE requests for info. After the pandemic the price of the ticket had increased but I could have booked a full business class ticket for approx. the same amount. They were not able to get this fare however??? I was very unhappy with the communication with Dale and requested to deal with his manager. Try finding a name of anyone working for this company and you will not. The manager was no better than Dale. I told them I did not want to deal with Dale any longer as he would not respond to emails or texts for more than 2 weeks. Customer service??? I really don't want to continue on this novel so if anyone wants more details feel free to contact me but DO NOT use them if you want to maintain your sanity. The amount they can save you is NOT worth the aggravation they pass on. They say they provide excellent customer service but take my word for it. It isn't there. On top of all that they put me on a economy ticket for the first leg of my trip but booked a ticket which did not allow ANY carry on bags which I did not find out until I was at the airport. I had booked two vacations but Had a horrible experience. Agent could not even book my special requests. The document I received did not look legit. I informed him with the issue but he did not do anything about it. This was a very expensive ticket. They make prices based on your pocket. He did not even know the rules and said I needed to pay for the luggage for the domestic portion of my international flight. He was not hones and was making excuses. For the second vacation, he kind of pushed me into booking that with him. He did not tell me that I needed to pick up my luggage at Gatwick and rebook to the final destination. Airlines shown on the document were not the airlines my ticket was booked with so I wasted my time standing in the line. After I posted the review on the link sent by the agent, someone from this business called from NO caller ID at 9PM and he was very rude and said I was harassing them by posting the review. Stay away from this company! I'm working with Max at Top Business Class. We are still trying to resolve our canceled flight to Italy in June 2020. We contacted the airline (Air France) when the flight was canceled. The Air France representative told us exactly how much Top Businesses Class paid for the ticket (about 1/3 of what we paid them) and said that the airline refined Top Business Class the full amount that they paid. Top Business Class would only offer us partial credit and gave us until February 2022 to book a flight. We are still not comfortable traveling internationally due to testing requirements and Covid restrictions, so we want to use our credit on domestic flights. Max said this was not possible. If we have credit, why should it matter where we go? Now Max won't answer my emails or return my calls. Our group stands to lose over $6,000. I had to cancel my trip and am having the worst time trying to reschedule despite providing several different itineraries to the Global Director. Bottom line, I am not getting reliable service to rebook and I feel like good opportunities are being missed (e.g., I could have had a direct flight on Emirates to Dubai for under $3,000). What a horrible nightmare experience. First they sold me ticket which it was in three parts not one ticket (Austin-Chicago- Helsinki-Bkk) So if I miss one leg no responsibility with other airlines therefore I could not check my bags. Then due to Covid, Thailand closed their boarder. I asked for refund, they gave me just one year credit. After two months I asked them to rebook me and they requested additional $500 for them not airline. I had no choice but to pay. Then due to Russian war Finnair cancelled the flight and asked all passengers to request for full refund. It took me four months using my attorney and lots of emails they gave me credit. Eventually they booked me one way business and one way economy premium with 10 hours layover and I have to buy the part from Austin to Chicago return by myself. This trip cost me close to $4,500 plus attorney cost which is coming up. They are bunch of layers, cheater, irresponsible, dishonest people. They just want to screw passengers. PLEASE PLEASE do not deal with them. I am sure there are lots of honest company out there that you can deal with. I needed to rebook a flight to Phuket in July since my Cathay flights had changed. At the same time i got a call from Elton at Top Business class and decided to let him quote the new flights. He also quoted my friends flight in premium economy on Singapore airlines. He quoted a higher price on my friends ticket and told me because they DONT PURCHASE BUSINESS LIGHT on singapore only BUSINESS STANDARD AND FLEX. I checked my flight and found it $500 more than what was on the singapore website. I emailed him and said i was disappointed that it was higher and he called me to say the same thing. It was a business standard and not a business light. OK, my bad and i moved on. Then i found out we could take a Singapore flight direct to phuket from singapore and called singapore to see if that was possible. They did have the flight, and said because my ticket was "BUSINESS LIGHT" CLASS D, i would have to call the travel agent. I asked if there was a change or penalty fee and they said no because they have waived all fees due to covid. I called Elton, told him to rebook the flight and he said he would have to check with his ticketing agent. (i believe his name is Matt). He also quoted me $500 to change the ticked saying this was Singapore's charges and not his company's. When i spoke with the ticketing agent he said he would check with the consolidator and get back to me after i explained all the details and conversations i had with elton and singapore. I also asked him to verify with Elton what he told me on several occasions, that this was "booked in the business standard" class and NOT in the light. Since i didnt hear from him, i disputed the charge for the difference with my CC company and provided them the emails i had send to elton. Then today i get a call from the ticketing agent screaming and yelling at me that i disputed the charge. When i asked if he had confirmed with Elton he said he hasn't spoken with him yet. Then proceeded to lay out a flurry of obscenities' that even made me embarrassed, not to mention unprofessional conduct. This could have been resolved very easily and professionally but this company and the actors involved tend to rely on intimidation and threats instead of professional business methods. I have asked for the contact info for both the ticket agents who swore up and down at me and the owner of the company. I didnt mind paying more since i could have checked first and so bad on me, but i DO NOT LIKE BEING LIED TO and that is the crux of this matter. Needless to say, i would never do business with this company again and i would warn others to double check EVERYTHING before booking with them if you do. read more
