All through 4-H, Dr Haynes would come out to our farm and provide the health documentation required for me to show them at the local fairs. He never charged me either! Instead, I'd trade him between 5 and 10 pints of the Raspberries we grew for him and his office staff. Recently, we found ourselves looking for a vet who would accept a voucher for neutering from the Advocat program and Winchester Vet Clinic did. We had never been there for our small animals but we knew that they were a good place. I made an appointment and they were friendly and told me exactly what I needed to prepare my cat for the procedure. When we dropped him off, he was petrified, but the staff was gentle and calm and he calmed down quickly. Unlike the horrible place we had taken our other cat, they were also going to keep him overnight just to make sure he was OK and so he could have pain medication (I'm feeling more and more sorry for our other cat and his experience now!). When we went to pick him up, the vet tech got us up to speed on how he did (he wasn't happy, but did fine), went over his weight and other health indicators, and then went over post-op instructions including written instructions to which we could refer. All in all, a wonderful place to bring your small and large animals alike!

A rescue trying to put weight on, who has a misshapen hip due to an accident while a stray that healed improperly apparently warrants charges of malnutrition and mistreatment. These dogs live like royalty from the 20+ toys around the backyard, and the 50+ inside, to the doggie daycare they attend, to the pancakes that were made the actual day that this charge was made, oh and the fact that I pay for a service to clean poop out of the yard...do you really think that food is going to be where I save money?? When asked to speak to manager his only response was what would you like us to do you've already cancelled the service. I don't know maybe an apology, proper training of your people, a call to the owner to ask the background of the dog? Then he hung up on me...so at the end of the day - use other services. Pet Butler acquired the service I used to have for over 10 years for all 4 of the rescue dogs I've had in my lifetime so I didn't actually pick them, this was a trial that I wish was free..

He had to spend a couple of days in an oxygen tent until the fluid drained so he could be transferred to Medvet Worthington to be seen by a cardiologist. We had never left him overnight anywhere before and the team at Pickerington let us spend time with him while he was in the oxygen chamber. That did a lot for his comfort level and helped lessen his anxiety (and ours). They kept us updated on his progress and we felt very comfortable with the care he was being given. His stay there overlapped several shifts and the quality of his care was consistently great! I will add that we were able to visit him 24/7. The facilities were modern and clean. Would highly recommend.
