We went there on January 17th for a pedicure and a new set of builder gel nails. This is my first set of builder nails. These are fantastic! It is February 28th. They are all still on as tight as they were when I first got them 6 weeks ago! Perfect. The Nail Techs were fantastic. Because my builder nails were being placed for the first time, it took longer than I am used to. I used to have SNS Gel nails. Never again. Those take a shorter amount of time, but don't last nearly as long. Because I have ADHD and am not used to sitting in one place for long, I was going bananas waiting for my builder nails to be finished. It was so hard for me to wait! If I had known I would be sitting in a chair longer than I do when I am getting my SNS Gel nails, I would have taken my medicine before going. I appreciate how the Nail Techs, including the Owner, helped me. I asked the Owner if I could come back the next day because I was going nuts. She was smart, though. She kept distracting me, joked around with me, and made me laugh until we were done. She turned around an unpleasant situation into a pleasant one. I am so grateful to the Nail Tech and the Owner. I wish I could go back to see them for a fill-in, but I don't live in Michigan. The next time I work there, though, I will definitely go in for more wonderful services. The Pedicure was wonderful, too. Both my coworker and I felt pampered. We had worked hard that week and deserved a break. Luxx nails gave it to us. Thank you. The manicure was shellac polish French Manicure. She took her time and was so friendly. However, it's only been a week, and the corners are already chipping off. She applied the polish on my cuticle, so now it's pulled away and is catching in my hair. (I know that's natural growth but I've never had it touching my cuticle before) I've had shellac many times that lasted a month or more. But I'd definitely return for pedicures.

My pedicure was rushed and I did not get square cut like I asked. My nails looked ok so I paid and left. Once I got home and really looked, I was disappointed with the shape and look of my nails. It is now 7/7 and my thumb nail is lifted underneath and I have a bunch of hardened acrylic under my nails on both hands. I was there for over three hours and did not receive satisfactory service. So I went in today (7/7) and politely asked for a refund. They insisted on fixing my nails and I said did not want them to fix it. That I did not have a good experience and would prefer to just have a refund. They refused. When I asked why I could not get a refund they said they don't do that. There is no sign up that says no refund. They could see and agreed that my nails were not looking good but still refused a refund. So I left.
