Heres my car "that has never run before" 1/21/2020 running and at a gas station 30 miles from home with power steering
    David B.

This one star is only there because of April. The sweet lady at the front. After three weeks almost four before I had to put an end to it. 4 weeks to wire a PIMP harness and run a map sensor and AC line. I did not ask them to do anything else. With ZERO communication besides the poor mechanic that does not know what he is doing telling me "Just because its new don't mean it works"....This was my 3rd Brand new TPS sensor, to Barbaras brilliant "nothing in a car is guaranteed" ...but mam if its isnt going to work why not tell me that...Ive never truly been in shock out of the ten cars Ive completed in 7 years like this. $1450 and Im having to have the car towed out, heres the best part. The power steering pump is now blown and the map sensor isn't even wired right. Not to mention the A/C line never got ran.‍It is my fault for not listening to others in the community but I wanted to give a local small shop a chance. Im off to Chris Car Doc where I should have paid to have it done right the first time. They need someone to run the business that knows what the hell is going on. It was cringe worthy the whole time I was there. I had to leave. If the tps is showing fuel wide open then the tps is bad, why would you not stop there. Call the customer and order a new one. As a business owner Id be shut down next day if I treated customers like idiots. Sad world but on to the next one, chin up and smiling

    Customer waiting area.

Full engine replacement, plus a few more bits and pieces. Slater knocked it out in a timely manner, no issues, great service.

I don't know why I was drawn to driving out of my way to this Auto Zone, but I'm so glad I did. I…read morepassed up one 5 minutes from my residence just to go to this one in Humble. When arrived and went inside, I just knew I would be there for eons because the line was almost out the door due to maintaing social distancing protocols. The employees, however, were working as fast they could to get people taken care of--and they did it without an attitude despite the pressure of a long line. Much respect for that! When it was my turn to be waited on, I had the pleasure of having the Assistant Manager David wait on me. This guy was so chipper. Positive attitude and really a good listener. I told him I had an issue with my car staying cranked and losing power. Had two jumps that day and as soon as I turned the engine off, the car was dead. He understood my concern and was willing to honor the free replacement of the battery, but suggested a diagnostic to see if it was something else (ie. alternator, the battery). Being that there were lines of people, one may have been pressured to just to resolve to a quick solution like just charge the battery and send me on my way, but David was very thorough and took his time. The Latch on my hood wasn't even cooperating and he helped me jimmy it open to at least get the battery tested. Again, he could have gave up and said, You're on your own lady...get your hood to open first and I'll come back," but he really tried to help me out, and he definetly went above and beyond to help a customer out. Upon further investigation, he declared that the battery terminal was extremely corroded, which had way more corrosion that morning when the first guy came by to jump me off. He stated that he guaranteed that once the terminal was replaced, I shouldn't have anymore trouble. Once the terminal was replaced, I asked if I needed to let the car run to charge the battery like I had to do twice today. Nope. The car should crank with no problem according to David. I was a little skeptical since I had been dealing with car issues since 7 am that day and it was like 3PM at this point, but I became a believer! The car cranked and has not had any problems cracking since I had a $7 terminal put on the vehicle with the assistance and guidance of David. He had a smile on his face when he saw how relieved I was at this fix. I thanked him numerous times for his help and patience. His last words were I just like helping people out. In a season where there are so many people needing help and assistance because of the pandemic and due to the holiday season of giving, we may forget to give back or feel we have given enough, but this experience really touched my heart that we can all give back in some way. It's not always about money. Our time, our effort to share what we know and help someone in need in this way is just as essential. Be a David this holiday season. Give back the best way you can.

To my surprise, he said to bring it down and I did, and not only did I get a new transmission, at a great price, they did all the labor right there, and it gets even better, I wasn't without my vehicle for more than 24 hrs, they have great salesman ship, great attitudes, absolutely fanomnal service, at great prices, and for a simple working guys like me, it means a lot to have a automotive company you can trust and stand behind there work with a warranty... Thanks again Jose, I really appreciate the great service and attitude you had for me and my Jeep !!!!

Dishonest and incompetent! Brought them our F250 with a 5.4 work truck to have the engine rebuilt…read more Paid them a down payment and they promised to have the truck ready in 2 weeks. After multiple excuses and over a month later they claimed to have completed the engine. We test drove the truck immediately and found MULTIPLE coolant hoses leaking("Conveniently" they ink stamp on the invoice that overheating voids engine warranty)SCAM ARTIST!!! They also didn't complete other promised repairs. We left the truck with him again with a promise of repairing in 2 days and they didn't finish for almost a week. Picked up truck again and they repaired coolant hoses but not the manifold(as promised).. Worn down by all the lies and execuses, we accepted the truck and paid in full. After driving the truck for a few weeks we found an oil leak from one of the engine gaskets! Wow!!! The invoice you sign also states cash only and that the customer is responsible for all legal fees. So they are protected from credit card disputes and discourage lawsuits. Truly manipulative! They wasted so much of our money, energy and most importantly our TIME! This of the worst business dealings I've ever experienced and I hope this review helps you avoid the same!
