Because it would mean an overnight stay, one of his employees even called his friend who worked in a hotel nearby and helped us to book a room! And Troy and his lovely wife drove our family in two cars to the hotel! Troy then picked us up the next day when our car was ready. We are back on the road and the car feels great! So thankful for such wonderful service! According to Wikipedia, (we had some time to kill) Anderson is the friendliest city in South Carolina, and based on our experience I would have to agree! My truck was either in the shop for six months or I was able to drive it a couple weeks at a time before it blew up. Continuously blamed me for driving it hard when I had not driven it hard at all. The fourth time it went in for a rebuild they, "bought" another transmission that had been rebuilt by another shop. To this day it has never cooled or heated properly. Summertime it starts to overheat within ten to fifteen minutes of driving it and the winter time it never reaches it's operating temperature. It still acts funny and I know it is on borrowed time.

I don't know where to begin on how well our experience with First Class Halt was - we had to…read moreevacuate our home in Florida for Hurricane Ian and drove up to Seneca to stay with friends for the duration of the storm. Wouldn't you know our luck, the next day after arriving, our Honda Pilot would not turn on. Talk about bad timing ‍ First Class Halt was recommended to us by a local and they did not disappoint. We got online to make the first available appointment (it was after hours when we discovered the problem) which was two days out. The next morning we then called first thing when they opened, explained our situation, and they said just have it towed to us now and we will look at it and get your problem diagnosed today (even before our appointment day time slot). Within a few hours of them having our vehicle, they had the problem diagnosed part in order for delivery first thing the next morning so they could repair it and get us back on the road to Florida to return home. These folks took great care us even though they knew going into it that we are from out of state, so it's not like we expect to have the chance to be repeat customers. Wow! Thank you for taking such great care of us in such a stressful situation. Of course, should we ever break down again when we are up this way, this will be our first choice auto repair.
