I had to take my vehicle to another shop to have it properly repaired, which cost me $800. Take 5 only reimbursed $600 and is refusing to cover the remaining $200, even though the damage occurred during their service. I spoke directly with the district manager, and the shop manager Marshall, but they were unwilling to work with me to resolve the full cost of the repair. Because of this experience and their refusal to take full responsibility, I would not recommend Take 5 Oil Change.

A shop my wife took the vehicle to yesterday in Greenville charged several hundred dollars to fix the air but it still was barely working. The locks? They don't do those at that repair shop. Since my wife was going to Anderson to visit her uncle at the VA nursing home anyway, she asked me to find her a place there that could look at the vehicle. I chose K and M because of great reviews and called. Tom said for my wife to stop by. She did and the a/c was working perfectly in just a couple minutes! A line was crimped or something. This week my wife will take the vehicle back to these awesome people to get the locks wiring checked out. Now we have a place to go since our original national-brand repair shop in Greenville had closed down! Amazing!

The next day I googled some local repair shops. I decided to give K and M a call. I'm glad I did! I explained my situation to Tom. They towed my van to their shop, did some tests, ordered my parts and had my van fixed the same day! They also picked me up from the hotel as a courtesy! My family and I made it safely back home. I took the car to these guys and they kept it over night and started it next day, kept it all day checked everything and I was really expecting a HUGE bill. But, NOPE. I got a call from the manager that they had driven it, started it a few different times and checked it all front to bottom and said that in all honesty it was prolly just water in the muffler as it had been raining the day i started it. They had a print out of every single step and it said my car was in great shape. I asked if it needed oil or anything, the guys said no not for another month or so. No bill. They could have lied but they were so honest I have decided that when the car does need work or an oil change etc this will be my go - to-place.

This place almost wrecked my engine and I will never be going back. I went in for an oil change and…read more2,000 miles later there were metallics found in the fluid. I took it to a proper mechanic immediately and they found debris from the wiring harness being shoved into the oil filter housing. In turn, the debris was sucked into the oil filter and stopped the filter which caused the system not to flow properly. This place should feel ashamed of themselves to have been so lousy at their job. The fact that I had to go to a mechanic and pay $200 for them to tell me that these guys caused the issue is ridiculous. Thank god I took it in because this place could've costed me thousands of dollars to replace my engine. My suggestion is to just go to an actual mechanic in Clemson, SC for even just an oil change since clearly these guys are careless and don't give a shit about the people who come in. They just take your money and say everything's good.
