Brand new hotel less than 6 months old. Very beautiful and clean inside and out. Our check in was short and sweet. Very quiet and smooth elevator ride to our floor. Our room was amazing! Our king size bed was soft yet firm and so comfortable. Love having the choice of the 5 different pillows on the bed. Room has mini fridge, microwave, large tv and closet with ironing board and iron. The black out blind on the window was amazing for sleeping in. Bathroom was a nice size with a fantastic shower. Only thing they need is a vent fan in the bathroom. It is only a pipe which does not draw air through it. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. Hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, cereal, muffins, apple juice, orange juice, milk....and some very amazing coffee. Best coffee I have ever tasted and it was decaf! Did not get a chance to check out the pool. Will have to check it out the next time. We will be back!

I need to have something in this space, it's a typical gross hotel. It stank in here.

The person working the front desk was friendly and looked like she was doing 3 jobs at once. The bartender was fast efficient and made great cocktails. Some of our concerns go to more managerial issues. As an example, the heat in our room did not work and our room was as cold as the outside. Being middle of January we were literally sitting in our rooms in hats, gloves and coats. The staff did bring up some space heaters to help raise the temperature, which eventually worked. The wine pairing dinner we attended was just ok, but at 70 dollars a person I would expect more than using small plastic cups for the pairings. The food itself was really good, so my compliments to the chef. If the room price was more reasonable and not 450 per night I would be less critical. The cost just didn't match the expectation

When we arrived, the manager tried to charge us for early check-in (20 minutes prior to normal check-in!). Then we learned we were double billed for the room, b/c my wife booked prior to me. The manager said it was "your problem," and refused to address my issue, preferring to yell at me for my bad review on Google. Don't waste your time. Sleeping in our car would have been preferable.

The hotel sits back from the road at the southwest corner of the U.S. 30 and Sandusky St. interchange. It is easily seen from the road but the access drive is further south and not well marked. Upon arrival on Sat., 02.25.17 I found the lobby to be clean and well-maintained. Coffee and cookies were available. I found the desk clerk to be pleasant and professional. When I made my reservation on-line, I had specifically requested a room away from the elevator. However, after checking in, I found my room was directly across from the 1st floor elevator. Upon request, the desk clerk changed my room without hesitation. I had a room with a king bed and I have posted a few photos. The room was very nice though there were two small oddities. The first was a large empty space between the nightstand and arm chair. This made the room appear under furnished. The second was the room's small refrigerator does not fit into the cabinet in which it's placed leaving the door slightly ajar. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was average as far as selection goes. However, both the sausage gravy and cinnamon rolls were very good. There was also a friendly and hardworking attendant present that kept the area well-supplied and clean. If you want an expanded menu, a Bob Evans is within walking distance. If you're looking to stay in Bucyrus, this is really your only option but at least it's a decent one.

One of our queen beds had a used lottery ticket in between the sheets. The shower head is very low, Im 5'4" and it was barely above my head. The bathroom sink was very slow draining . We were able to pay $35 and check in at 1pm, the room was clean. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature it is a little bit old but everything worked fine and the kids had a blast. The free breakfast was great - warning it was a lot of food with dyes and sugar but I think that's the norm everywhere. They do charge $75 for any late check out - even 15 min which seems absurd considering the room was $67. If you get a room facing the harbor (indoor pool) it is very loud until 10pm if you have young kids with bedtimes I'd request a room that faces the parking lot. The train resturaunt on the top of the hill was very cute and my son Loves trains - closes at 4! The taco restaurant has a good happy hour and strong margarita.
