I stayed here two different occasions within a week for work. The rooms are fairly clean, but have an awful smell of dog and pee. I asked for a different room and informed them of the smell and was told no that I had to stay in that room and they said to "cut the a/c on to suck the smell out." I told them I was allergic to dogs and that it was obvious a dog was in here and that I would appreciate a different room. They still did not switch my room, and I was forced to remain in an offensively smelling room. 5 minutes later the front desk came to my room with a can of spray. Ridiculous! Horrible customer service and I will make sure the company never books me at this specific hotel ever again. ----update. I spoke to a manager, he informed me that the reason they couldn't put me in another room is because they didn't have another room available. While I feel like that could've easily been communicated, and I'm skeptical that he just told me that, I feel like it wouldn't be fair if I didn't update this review to add that context. read more

Just finished spending 3 nights for my Son's wedding. We, I believe, had 15+ rooms. The Service absolutely delightful and I dare say perfect. A Very disappointing stay. Decided to have a little vacation before Christmas. Checked in on a Friday. Once at the front desk, the front desk manager Amad checked us in. He was not welcoming at all. It seemed as if he did not want to be there. He informed me of the payment policy, I asked a question and he pointed to a printed policy on the desk without wanting to provide further explanation. After check in, we went to our room. It was awful. I have attached photos of the first room. We immediately went back downstairs and asked for another room which was provided. The 2nd room was still a little run down but it was fine. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and even gave my daughter a gift after they found out it was her birthday. That's the only reason I didn't give this location one star. The next day, there was another lady at the front day and she greeted me and was a lot more welcoming. I dont think we will stay at this location again, its not really updated and the front desk manager made the beginning of my stay unpleasant. read more

What a great hotel! I called in last minute from down the road, and they said they DID have a couple rooms available. I told them I would be there in 10 minutes, hoping it would still be available when I got there. When I walked in they had already reserved the room for me without giving them my info! They were most gracious and even gave me a GM's discount. ALSO if you eat at any of the several restaurants within walking distance THEY give you a10% discount with a room key! The hotel smells lovely when you walk in the door and the room was immaculate.this is a good option for staying in Hiram. I've stayed at several Sleep Inns in the past year, and have always been pleasantly surprised. Glad there's a good option out there for us working folks. read more

This hotel brings hospitality to a new level! The owners are the kindest most attentive hotel operators you could ever find. It feels like you are truly a guest in their home. The hotel is clean and well kept. Maintenance is fast with any issues at all. I mentioned that the toilet was running, which didn't bother us but I know what that means for their water bill! Immediately they fixed it that very second! They will remind you that you get 10% at so very many of the surrounding restaurants by staying there also. Recommendations to places to eat and things to do! We were warmly greeted every time we came back into the hotel! The beds were comfortable. I am pretty picky about beds and then being in sturdy good shape. Everything in the room was well attended and clean. Housekeeping was also delightfully friendly! I don't know how they create this warm family caring atmosphere but it really stands out! We gathered here as family to celebrate an early Christmas. And it was decorated very well for the holidays. We had a great family visit. So thank you For making us feel at home! We will be back! read more

Pluses: Our room is clean and odor free, the bed is comfortable, there's wifi, theres a tv hairdryer and microwave. Mehs: you can get a discount from a couple nearby restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good but really the same as everywhere. Eggs, sausage patty, waffles, bread selection, juice dispenser. And a couple other things you'd expect. I'm happy about it but it wasn't anything special. Cons: You can hear train horns blowing!!! Too close to the tracks. There's also a mini fridge but it is so loud we unplugged it. This hotel is not fancy. In our opinion there is nothing special about it, nor the room. There's no pool either. But there is an exercise room. We didn't walk past it so I don't know what its like. Just heard of it in the brochure in the room. There IS an AMC Theatre you can walk to if you have time and money to spare for that. But we spent so much more on two nights here than we would ever normally spend and got a room on par with what we normally stay in. Its a bummer. read more

My friends and family occupied 75% of this hotel for our son's wedding weekend. Over half of our guests were from other states. These people were so incredibly helpful. I was on the phone with the owners many times in the weeks leading up to the weekend and they were so kind and accommodating. They were very patient when checking us in. Some of our weary travelers were less than gracious, but Anna and Krish were patient and congenial. Many folks arrived at the same time and the check-in was seamless. They even helped hand out the goodie bags that we had brought for our guests! The breakfast was great and we were all well taken care of for the duration of our stay. There are three hotels now along Highway 278 in Hiram, Georgia, near the intersection of Highway 92. No one really knows why. It's a bit far from any attractions, and they're simply surrounded by lots of chain restaurants and retail stores. If you browse my reviews, you'll see one I wrote on the Country Inn in this area (not good), so let's see how this one turned out. This Sleep Inn is located right next to the Highway 278 movie theater complex, surrounded by such places as Hooters, Kohls, and a variety of other chain places, and for hikers/walkers and bikers, it's close to the Silver Comet trail which goes from Atlanta to the Alabama border. My reason for staying at this location was unfortunately an unhappy one - one of my dogs passed away the day after Christmas, suddenly and unexpectedly, of a heart attack. This being my favorite pet and like a child to me, the effects of the event have hit extremely hard, and a friend of mine who is a therapist by trade suggested I stay at a local hotel to get a complete change of scenery. Hence, my stay. Ok, onward: This particular Sleep Inn is only a few months ago, having opened in the Spring of 2009. It's a smaller hotel with 60 rooms. All of their rooms have refrigerators, coffee makers, work desks, flat-screen televisions, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards and cable television with free HBO. There is a very small workout room, laundry facilities, and free very basic continental breakfast setup in the mornings. Select rooms are set up like mini-suites with sleeper sofas, some are standard rooms, and a few have large in-room jacuzzi tubs. Rates average from $89 to $109 per night (excluding specials) which to me though average for Hiram, seems a bit overpriced for the area considering the lack of any close attractions other than shopping and restaurants. Their flier quotes reasonably short mileage to metro area attractions, but visitors need to take into account Atlanta's infamous traffic - mileage and "drive time to" do not always equal each other here. Entering the hotel, there is a small lobby area with comfortable sofa and chairs, with one of those electric 'simulated' fireplaces that borderlines tacky, but cost just enough to be one of the slightly more realistic models. A flat screen tv is above the fireplace, the elevator next to the seating area, and the front desk right across. During the course of my stay I interacted with three employees and a manager. All of them were friendly enough, but one was extremely inexperienced, and in my opinion, needed MUCH more training before being turned loose behind a front desk alone - this was management's fault - not her own. The other employees were more experienced. My room was a King bed jacuzzi room and overall was clean. Pulling the mattress back a bit to do my official "bed bug inspection", I did notice a few hairs on the platform, under the mattress. There was one single hair in the jacuzzi. Inside the in-room microwave, there were crumbs on the heating plate from the previous guest's use. The in-room fridge was clean. So housecleaning could be better, but other than these issues, everything else was very clean, especially the bathroom which was spotless in every way, although there was only one basic set of towels and no extras. The free WiFi service was picked up quickly by my laptop, and the approximately 32" flat TV reception was decent (it's a 720p tv, no DVD, etc). I stocked up snacks via the standard snack and drink machine nearby, and was settling in, when large thumps were heard for over and hour above me. It seems a family who believes that breeding is fundamental and have had 42 children got the room above, and the kids were auditioning for Cirque. While the wall thickness in this place is a lot thicker than they were at the Country Inn up the road, you can't avoid noise when half a schoolroom is doing somersaults above you. Long story short, this was when the inexperienced employee was working, and she had no idea what to do about asking them to simmer down, so I gave her some pointers for future reference, and decided later to just switch rooms. My new room was pretty similar to my first, except it only had a queen size bed, no reading area, and when I turned on the jacuzzi to fill up the tub, the water that came out of the faucet was brown for several minutes due to this room's lack of use. Hint to housekeeping: Run the water in the jacuzzi rooms every now and then to keep this from happening! I tried to go to sleep soon after that, but the window heating unit kept making a crunching noise when the heat kicked on, sounding like a tub of hampsters eating cheetos. Summary: Overall clean, overall insulated walls (aside from circus performers above you). Service needs more experience, but it's one of the better options in this area if you need to stay in Hiram. read more

Outdated and not clean. Room was damp and musty and could never regulate the temperature. Front desk staff seemed less than enthused to help us. Free Breakfast was basically boxes of cereal and bad coffee. The fridge in the breakfast area was broken so could not eat the yogurt it contained. Overall, an old and run down place in need of a major upgrade. read more

It's fine for what it is. Worst part was the WiFi, consistently operating at somewhere between 28k to 56kbps speed, a time warp to circa 1995 internet speeds. Cellular LTE download was "instant" by comparison. First world problems. Other than that it's fine. read more

at first we thought the hotel would be good. But..... after about 5 minutes laying in the bed out skin felt wet. The next morning first thing we told the front desk and they assured us they would have it checked. We also talked to the cleaning ladies about it and asked for them to refresh her he room and more towels were needed. At 2:30 pm nothing still had been done and the front desk was notified again. Upon returning around 11:00 pm nothing still. Going back to the o the front desk for a 3rd time and to get some towels for the night. Again a wet bed night. Next morning front desk was informed again. Also received a survey by email and told this same story and the response from them was sorry and they would use the feedback. I will say that the woman in the breakfast area (Cynthia) was the best part of the hotel. read more

Instead of being a service to a community who experienced a huge power outage....the greedy managers of this hotel jacked their prices up to $115.00 on a Sunday. Almost the entire county and surrounding areas had no electricity, significant damage, and lots of trees down. Sleep Inn decides its time to cash in on the community's misfortune by increasing their rates. What a disservice and a missed opportunity to serve the people who support your business. No one is asking for a discount, however don't rob me either. Who is going to pay that much to stay at a Sleep Inn. read more

It was pretty good. Rooms were very clean and appeared to be freshly remodeled or painted. Desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Now about the location. Horribly place right next door to a movie theater and it's entrance is shared with the motel. This means that every car coming or going is heard until the movie theater closes for the night. I sat listening to teenage owned cars and their loud exhausts and radios all night long. read more

First I will say the staff are very nice. Yes, this is one of the few hotels in that area. We stayed a couple days because of the wedding; But it's not worth the money they charge! Breakfast is bland, TVs in the gym (only 3 pieces of gear) and my room didn't work. Room service only changed the bath towels. Others in our party reported no room service. Plus the meth heads hanging on hotel Property is one to be careful of. Stayed in many more hotels over the years, and have paid a lot less. My family of 5 stayed at this hotel for over a month while our home was being retired from water damage. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, less than a week later my family and I were being treated for scabies as a result of our stay . I reported this to the administrative staff at SleepInn as soon as I was diagnosed at the hospital. My children and husband were also seen by a doctor, we were all treated for scabies . Cookie, the hotel manager did not even apologize when she finally got around to returning my multiple calls. She dragged her feet and lied when she stated that CDC was contacted about our claim. Westfield Insurance, took almost a month to call and get information about the claim. I spoke to LaShonda on 10/08/18 and answered all of her questions in regard to the dates that my family and I were seen at the pediatrician and hospital. She asked me why my family and I were staying in the hotel for such a long period of time. I asked her to explain the relevance of the question and she said "what's the problem, it's a simple question" I then replied that seemed irrelevant . She told me since I refuse to answer ANY questions, my claim is denied. She was beyond unprofessional , I had to remind her to remain in her professional outfit. I requested her supervisor's contact information and followed up with Debbie Cason. I shared the phone experience and the statement made by LaShonda, which made no difference. She did not even bother to apologize on behalf of her employee's lack of professionalism The following day , I called Debbie Cason, the supervisor . She told me that the investigation conducted by her employee had been completed , therefore my claim had been denied. She also stated that scabies can NOT be contracted at a hotel based on her research. When I presented questions in regard to her research as well as the investigation of her employee, she told me that they do NOT need to share that information. So, I will reach out to corporate and continue to leave as many poor reviews on as many social platforms as possible , when possible. Shame on Westfield Insurance!!!!
