Do not pick this hotel if you want a nice night away booked the jacuzzi suite upon arrival in the room noticed the wallpaper was stapled together at the seems the sink stop was just sitting in the sink as well as the jacuzzi tub drain stopper was broke and laying in the tub when we told the front desk they said there was nothing they could do and the g.m said it wasn't in there policy for the jacuzzi to hold water do not waste your money with this terrible location no refund no rebate no nothing

Left over food from last patron .

$100 hotel that was worth about $65 . Carpet was dirty . I opened the fridge and there was already McDonald's food inside of it .. Lady at the desk wouldn't budge on the rate . The lights above the beds looked liked a $20 poor installation job. Breakfast was alright. Stayed here a few years ago for $75 a night and it was clean and new. Waste of my hard earned money.

    Bathroom without tub.

Hotel is kind of secluded and near a Meijer store. The outside looks good but the interior appeared very dated. No hot breakfast; but muffins, sausage croissant, juice and other drinks were available.

Was just recently renovated! Very nice for $65 and BUG FREE!! Breakfast had a pretty nice selection. Eggs, sausage, 2 types of waffles and more. My only complaint is that the pool was a little cold.

    Yellow stain all around toilet.

The swimming pool is very nice for a quick dip and then into the sauna.

As a…read moreconvenient, quiet place for business or pleasure (obviously they're not trying to be a luxury resort) it serves its customers well. The pros: 1. Super friendly staff: Check-in was a breeze, and the fresh-baked cookies and cold bottled water were a nice extra. 2. Clean, quiet and comfortable: My room was clean and the unit was very quiet. Except for an occasional door closing across the hall, I didn't hear anything. Also, desk had a nice chair, bed was comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows with differing firmness (and they were marked, too). 3. Great breakfast buffet: the morning meal options are great, and a dedicated staff member keeps the food hot, the counters clean and the options flowing. 4. Easy access to the free wifi, and it was actually pretty fast. Some places offer free wifi, but the speed is like dial-up -- not here. 5. After I checked out, I realized I had left a personal item behind. One quick call and they happily mailed this item back to me. Seriously, if you need a nice place to stay in the Toledo area, give this HIE a shot, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely stay there again next time business takes me to Toledo.

I'm glad this is the place we came upon. The hotel appears to be very recently remodeled. It's squeaky clean and our room was in great shape - clean, modern, no weird smells or stains or anything like that. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. There were several fluffy pillows on the bed as well. This hotel offers free wi-fi and the signal was actually really good in our room. They also offer breakfast downstairs between 6-10am which is a nice wide time frame to accommodate people who need to get on the road and people who prefer to sleep in a bit. The breakfast area had a lot of variety - cereals, fruits, and pastries (normal continental stuff), but also a hot buffet that included some ham and eggs (whites only or whole). They also had a fridge with assorted yogurts as well as hard boiled eggs. Oh and there was a waffle iron as well. The staff we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. The night clerk was very helpful when we checked in - very personable and nice. Same goes with the clerk who checked us out. No complaints at all. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

I like that they are dog friendly (although it is +$25 per night). There is easy grass area around the parking lot to walk my dog. Several nearbyy places to eat. My rooms with 2 queen beds also had a microwave & fridge, side chair, dining table with 2 chairs, and desk with a chair, $95 after all the taxes (+ dog fee). In the morning, they had coffee/tea, cereal, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and fruits. I had interactions with check in, check out, and housecleaning staff, and all were very nice. #ReviewsByRL

The room was large and comfortable. They have a restaurant on site called Assembly, where the food is very good. The hotel on the inside is pleasing to the eye, and it was comfortable in the lobby waiting for lyft/uber. My issues while staying there were the following: 1) The valet parking service quality was not consistently good. Valet service in the morning is slow and inefficient. When we got to the hotel on our first day, we waited 20 minutes until i walked into the hotel to find the valet guy on his phone. The night guys are on the ball. 2) The staff was overwhelmed the first two days we were there as there seemed to have been a wedding. Service suffered. 3) When i took a shower, no shampoo came out of the dispenser. They gave us a room with no shampoo. We went down there to get some. They gave us the bottle and told us they would refill it later, they never did. We also had to go once down to front desk to ask for more towels. Mostly a great experience but these three things certainly hurt our time there.

The Innkeeper, Tim, was very friendly and extremely knowledgable about the house, its restoration, and everything in-between. From its 13'7" ceilings to the giant 12' high doors to the hardwood floors it literally felt like stepping back in time. Most of the house had been renovated with a beautiful blend of new and old, giving it a neuveux riche feel. We stayed in the Grand Suite, which was larger than nearly any hotel suite we've ever been in. It had a comfy king size bed, a giant armoire, a small couch and a small table for intimate dining in your room. The attached bathroom was equally as impressive with a giant 6 foot tub and a large walk in shower with two shower heads. We had the house to ourselves and were made to feel at home by the Innkeeper Tim. He made us breakfast in the morning in the kitchen, which was newly renovated with beautiful stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops. Tim made us more food than we could eat (a four course breakfast!) and just put the cherry on the top of our visit. We can't wait to visit again. This hidden gem is a must visit if you're in the Toledo, Ohio area!

While the food, furnishings, and architecture were top notch, a few fundamental items of a hotel/B&B were quite poor: the staff, the heating, and the water pressure. First, the staff gave me an eerie, unpleasant feeling, overall. For example, I was pressured to leave the house while I was waiting for my ride, after I had checked out. I was just in the lobby for about 15 min. Next, during my stay in mid-December, the rooms were cold and the two electric heaters in the room, supplementing the radiators, did not do the trick. Finally, the water pressure in the shower was among the lowest I have ever experienced, ever. If you have ever seen that Seinfeld episode, it was like that. Thus, two stars.
