I would have to say our experience was pleasant and everything went well. We asked one important question. Would it be a soft hit or a hard hit on our credit report the gentleman told us a soft hit, which was not true. We got a hard hit on our credit report, which was not acceptable, my husband wanted to cancel our order but I thought I would just write this review and put a heads up to anyone the gentleman was very versed and knowledge of the bed and everything went well. Just wish she would've been honest about the credit report and that's why I gave him a 2. We definitely chose this day to go in because it was 30% off the purchase. Thank you. read more

This is not our first sleep number bed, so we didn't have patience for the full sales experience. Which they have to give you to prepare you for the price, which is hefty. The staff is friendly though and tailored their pitch to what we were expecting. I'm not rating the app (see the App Store) only the store and of course the bed. If you take one apart or buy one without doing research you might be surprised when you realize it's a glorified air mattress. But if you get the right level and type of topper/system, these mattresses are great. Body types, preferences, like on mine aka overweight woman over 50 with hot flashes and medical issues along with an issue with memory foam, I was down to sleep number or innerspring with a lot of add ons. I have bursitis in my hips and I sleep on my side thanks to back and neck issues.... So I was fairly certain the sleep number was the way to go depending on the price. Problem is, the equivalent regular mattress was going to wind up costing just as much or more (friends have one really expensive brand name free replacement type bed that they love, they've also had to have it replaced twice...). I opted for an older wired remote style adjustable frame (no bells and whistles) and I never use the auto adjustable air since it just wakes me up ( I'm a light sleeper due to pain), but I do love the bed. My hip pain no longer wakes me up or keeps me tossing and turning. I'm not waking up as often throughout the night which is huge for me personally. So I highly recommend it, though with all things the integration of technology on the new model concerns me and I keep reading horror stories on app reviews, that I personally haven't experienced, and hope I don't. Back to this store, Steve assisted me in making sure I got every deal I could in order to whittle the price tag down to something I could live with. So I highly recommend this location and sales person. I personally would have been happy with a few less calls/texts/emails from Steve and Sleep Number throughout the process, but it wasn't horrible and delivery was on time, fast, and the delivery folks were nice, even though they left before the process finished and I had to restart it and that freaked me out a bit until it went through, but no issues since and the bed is on the opposite side and floor of the Wi-Fi router in my home! Side note - back to our original sleep number bed- its going on 15 years old. While we were there, they looked it up and found it was still under partial warranty- so we ordered/replaced the sidewalls (older models were designed to look like a regular mattress that zippered open for the air mattress/es and had foam around the outside to keep it standing up/square and a separate zip-on topper depending on what level you bought at that time) and are waiting on delivery for a new pump for it - nothing wrong with our pump after 15 years, they just don't make our really old wireless "lollipop" remote anymore and ours is on its last legs, it still works, you just can't see what the number setting is- so for under $300 it's like getting a brand new bed! Support was very friendly also with handling and ordering, though we are still waiting on the pump/remote replacement system, which is delayed like a lot of things in the world right now, but I don't blame them for that too much. But even just the new sidewalls made a huge improvement since the really old ones were broken down because the hubby has never in 15 years filled the thing back up before getting in and out ... read more

I called the night before to confirm the time they were opening on Labor Day, 9:00am. Got to the store at 9 no one was there, as we drove away someone pulled in at 9:05am, and unlocked the doors. We turned around got back to the store at 9:12, the door was still locked. The female sales associate looked out the window at us, did not wave us to come back. I really dont have anything bad to say about this place. I own or bought 5 select number beds. My daughter received her queen size bed when she was 11 years old and she is 27 and married. She took the bed for her spare room and after her husband slept in it they bought a king . I have several friends that have them now and we laugh as we talk about or beds. read more

Sleep Number beds are a great product with excellent marketing. But the concept of caveat emptor (Latin) applies. Simply translated, this means "let the buyer beware." Buying the bed, delivery, and set up are flawless. Sleeping on the bed is great. But, unlike traditional matreses, Sleep Number beds break, deflate, become lopsided, or develop difficulties with the remote. All of these are understandable to a degree and they will commit to making things right. But the rub comes in with "service." Good luck with that one. If you develop a problem, Sleep Number will try all manner of trouble shooting on the phone or the Internet. They will mail you parts they think you need, and expect you to install them. Really? Of course you can request a Service Call, for which they will charge $179.99 to your credit card, and then (and only then) will they offer you a service date which is ridiculously scheduled several weeks later. For a mattress that does not work and one you need to sleep on? Again, really? There are soooo many good mattress options out there, and Sleep Number does not dominate the market. Yes, they make a great product. But yes, they have lousy service. Please keep this in mind after you have been "wowed" by their product experience. I hope this helps you to sleep better. The opportunity to try the test rids as a great help in making our decision to purchase Delivery was as set up. A 3 hour window. We had not been informed at purchase that a 3 pronged outlet and a surge protector was necessary for installation. When informed or the requirement I sent my wife to a local store to get the adapter plug . Had a surge protector at hand. Creating a delay of about 10 minutes for that part of the hookup. The delivery person began complaining about "...running late." I told him I didn't need to hear about it, because it was his problem not mine. He continued to gripe, and I told him in so many words that I didn't need this sxxx, aHe got on his cell phone to cry to his supervisor. He said he didn't like to be cussed at. I informed him that if he didn't like it he could get the Fxxx out! He left leaving the installment in a mess! Customer Service has yet to respond at 1615, A fine product but the "Customer Service" is "dirt" poor. They couldn't get corrective team in until TUESDAY! This was Thursday afternoon. When they contacted me on Friday...I told them to make it a Return and Refund pick up. This was not the kind of response I wanted to expect if anything went bad with this product! read more
