All I want for Christmas is a good night's sleep:) Who doesn't! So I already unwrapped my best Christmas present of the season. A brand new Sleep Number bed. And I LOVE it. Good friends were all smiles when telling a group of us over holiday drinks how much they loved their new Sleep Number bed. They were lamenting how they wished they had bought it sooner. Well... that recommendation was good enough for me. The next day I drove over to the Sleep Number store in the Folsom Palladio. Wow. What a nice place. All those beds and pillows were making me sleepy:). Quite the organized and clean store. Lots of lighting too. Customer service was spot on. No icky, pushy sales people. I was approached and asked if I needed assistance but I declined and said I was just looking. Which I was. Gotta check it all out first. Ok... now I have done my homework and I am ready to buy! Sleep Number sales force are professional, answered all my questions and completed appropriate paper work efficiently. My kind of people. Thank you! Delivery day was noneventful. That is a good thing. Everything went smoothly and the guys working were organized and hard working. Removed old bed stuff too. Set it up in no time. Provided a demonstration in everything "sleep number" 101 mechanics and programmed the remote! A shout out to them. PSA Do not buy a sleep number especially from the folsom location at Palladios 1. We were lied to and misinformed about the return policy and fees. We were told that we would be charged a fee of 150 if we changed our mind and wanted to return the bed within the free 90 day sleep tried. ( we were blatantly lied to as there would have not been a sale if we were informed that the pick up fee was 250. So let's do the math here 250 for delivery and Installation and 250 for pick up fees. That is 500 $ , one can buy a very good mattress from Costco for 500 bucks with a hassle free purchase and free delivery and free returns. Its a no brainer. 2 . Customer service sucks at every level. I called the 1800 to schedule return and state my reasons for return which are as follows The mattress is a glorified version of an air mattress with pieces of foam around the inflated mattress to give it structure. The mattress is not even a true queen mattress as its smaller by a few inches its not a true 60 inches wide. Good bye restful sleep as we have been wrestling for space on the sleep number queen bed.we have slept on a queen mattress the past 17 years and never had issues with lack of space. I was informed that they cannot help but I should call the store that I purchased the mattress from ( look at the attached pictures of Mattress) 3. The cornerstone of any good business is good Customer service. We bough our mattress from the folsom location and Dwane was the one who helped us. We were I formed that the pick up charges were the same as the delivery charges. We paid 150 for delivery without Installation. We agree to the purchase of the mattress on the condition that if we had to return the mattress for any reason the pick up fee was just 150. We had an amazing experience with dwane while he was selling us the product. But boy how the tables turned when I called and requested to speak to him to clarify why he had misinformed us about the pick up charges which are actually 250 $ not 150 as we were promised and informed by Dwane during our purchase. I was informed that Dwane was busy with another customer and that I would get a call back in a few minutes. I did not get any call back but I did get a text message ( screen shot shared in pics and videos ) where team folsom acknowledged that they apologize for any miscommunication. I called the store to speak to the manager as the text message I received from them did not resolve the matter in any way. The store manager was rude and curtly hung up the phone on me after informing me that its my responsibility to read the fine print and not rely on what information the sales person gave me during the process of touring the sleep number location at folsom Palladio. Best customer service I have seen in a long time where the customer is penalized for believing every word of the sales person said. Long story short There are better mattresses out there and definitely better customer service and belive me if you are planning on buying a sleep number you will have to deal with customer service pretty often based on how the mattress is going to have issues with the pump, remote, air mattress leaking air, sagging foam etc etc. read more

We bought a bed at Sleep.Number Folsom in early May. On delivery day, one of the crew noticedwhat might be bedbugs. We didn't get the bed delivered, nor did we have our old bed removed. My pest contractor came out and said what we had were old carpet beetle carcasses on the pedestal. To be safe, we spent $1000 to ENSURE nothing remained. The driver told us that they would attempt another delivery and remove the old mattress IF we had the certificate of pest treatment. Almost 3 weeks later, the re-delivery was attempted. The driver gave us another lie that they would return in four days to pick up the mattress. A lie. When I called customer service, I was informed that Sleep Number would not pick up my mattress. So I'm going it alone after being lied to many times and being left holding the bag. These folks only care about your hard earned money, lie freely, and don't care about your business. I would advise that you avoid Sleep Number like the plague. PS- the bed was sprayed, put in plastic, and left in the hot sun. No bugs could exist. I can't move this thing! read more

Worst purchase of my life... honestly. Horrible, mattress (it's nothing more than a, poorly made, very expensive, air mattress). The sales rep in the store (very nice guy) said "if you don't like the mattress, simply return it within the 100 day preturn period." I assumed he meant the whole purchase, mattress, frame, remote, etc. What he did not say was that the mattress, which was only $2000, of the close to $7000, that I spent, was the ONLY thing that could be returned. Called customer service and they told me that I should have read the contract. Too true, but I'm shocked that a business can get away with such deceptive practices. A $5000 lesson, learned. I only hope I can save other people from what I went through. Wish I'd read the yelp review "before" I bought it. I'm sure that I'll get the same comment, on yelp, from their support team with "sorry you had a bad experience, you should have read the contract, contact customer service ... " He responded to all the 1 star reviews with the same message. Avoid this place like the plague. If you like sleeping on an air mattress, get one, for a few hundred, from Costco. read more

Very nice store and shopping center. I purchased the i8 model and flex base several months back. It is very comfortable and I love the ability to raise the head when reading or sleeping with a cold. One of my favorite features is the under bed light that I set to turn on/off automatically when I get in and out of bed at night. The phone app is pretty cool too as I can see my sleep score and patterns. I really appreciate the support I received after the bed was delivered and setup. I had questions (twice) regarding my remote and setting up favorites and the store manager kindly talked me through it. read more

This is one of the nicest, friendliest, and cleanest furniture store I have ever seen! We were greeted instantly by the store manager Elodia Tate. She was so knowledgeable about their beds and all the related products and patiently helped us look through the store. She was kind and patient with my young children who were trying to lay on every bed possible. The sleep number beds are perfect for couples. Sometimes they have a nice clearance rack for sheets. They have the best sheets that fit so well on the beds. Their sheets hook to the bottom of the mattresses so you never have to worry about them coming off. My boys are constantly moving around as they sleep and their sheets always stay in place. The quality of the sheets and pillow are the best we have used. read more

If you're a stomach sleeper, avoid this bed and business like the plague!!! They will try to adjust it to make it comfortable while timing out your return time. Then you're stuck with literally the worst bed you've ever slept on in 40+ years. The store, customer service and corporate office won't help make it right once the window has closed. After placing my order 2 weeks ago, my deliver date finally arrived today. Well...not so fast. I was called 2 hours before delivery and informed my bed has not arrived and will not be available until Friday or after. I was offered no explanation or apology. I took time off of work and scheduled someone to pick up my kids all for no reason at all. Additionally I prepped the area and had removed all obstacles in my home. I was told to go online and schedule a new date. No customer service was offered at all. After calling and speaking to 3 more people, I canceled my order and still never received an apology or explanation. 2 stars for being fast about the cancelation and refund. Got the money back the same day! Buyer beware. I don't do business with companies that have service like this. I'll find another option, probably for half the price. read more

DONT BUY FROM HERE!!! READ THE CONTRACT!! The mattress feels like an air mattress and reminds me of my horrible Memories of camping on an air mattress. You move, the other person moves. It's like you're sleeping on a bubble and you go off the sides nothing comfortable or supportive about it. You have 90 days to return if you don't like it. Apparently that happens to a lot of folks because you can return the mattress NOT the box spring which costs $2000. So return the top not the bottom and you're stuck with it we called and asked what we should do with it the guy on the phone said sell on Craigslist list. So they know the mattresses suck and that's how they get their money. Because returns of the top part are common since no one likes them. DONT SHOP HERE!! read more

DO NOT BUY!!!!! Sales person lied. Before buying the bed I explained to the sale person that I would be purchasing the Comfort Elite Leggett & Platt adjustable frame for the i8 bed. The sales person lied and said it would work. The corporation admitted the sales person was at fault. Still they would not waive the 400.00 deliver and pick up fees. This also means their 100 day warranty is fraudulent. All other bed manufacturers offer real customer oriented warranties. I called the same day the bed was delivered and was they still charged $400.00 in delivery fees. Also, the air bed is not nearly as god as a natural latex bed. To Chris V. I purchased a new Sleepnumber through this store but all of the sale was done over the phone. The store acted responsibly, the problem I have is with the bed itself. The "Sleep IQ" software that is built into the pump motor of the bed doesn't work properly on a consistent basis. It randomly skips several hours per night. At times it doesn't begin to work when you go to bed and skips a couple of hours or it forgets to keep monitoring your sleep if you get up to use the restroom. The Sleep IQ software is nothing more than a sales gimmick or toy! It is not accurate and cannot be depended upon for accurate sleep monitoring. I have explained all of this to Sleepnumber but they refuse to rectify the situation or even acknowledge that there is a problem. The bed itself is comfortable but don't buy this bed if you are interested in the sleep monitoring system. It doesn't work!!! read more

I'm a true believer of the Sleep Number bed! I just bought my second bed from the Folsom store. Before purchasing my Sleep Number, I would wake up with back pain sometimes to the point it was immobilizing. I have had zero back pain with my Sleep Number. It is pricey but well worth it in my opinion. The Folsom staff were very knowledgeable and were informative answering all my questions (I had a lot). Thank you for a great product and great service! Sales over quality. This place is nothing but a sales job targeting us, the stupid consumers. The list of items we are unsatisfied with is long. Remote: battery sucking junk. Pillow: caused me neck problems until I stopped using it. Sheets: we wouldn't know because they gave us the wrong ones Cover: doesn't fit, and according to the installers "not sure what it's supposed to do" Customer service: "we can't return anything except the base bed for a xx fee and an xx fee and a return fee, etc..." Summary: not happy. Do not recommend to others unless y want to donate money to a fraudulent organization OVER A YEAR LATER: MY ACCOUNT IS STILL SCREWED UP. We bought a Sleep Number Bed from the store in the Palladio at Broadstone Stone. We spent $7,000 and we are now 67 days into having our new bed. We bought the Flex Top King 360 Smart Bed with the Flex Fit 2 base. We have had problems with the flex fit 2 base since day 1. It took 2 call before we could get a tech service call. The tech said we need a new control box. The tech sent a order for the control box and I got a call from Customer service telling be I need to call the warranty department of the supplier. I finally got a new box and the flex fit base still is not working. I call the store and they said I had to deal with customer service. The manager of this store could care less if you are happy customer. She doesn't return calls and when you do get a hold of her she just tells you to call customer service and they don't do anything to help the customer solve the problem they are having. I WILL WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DEALING WITH THIS STORE. I am not happy and now I am stuck with a $7,000 bed that doesn't do what the Sleep Number sales person told us. However, when you decide to purchase one - I would highly suggest this location. Our bed was delivered today after purchasing over 2 months ago. When we purchased in the store I wanted to make sure they would remove our old mattress AND frame and was told they would. Today when the new bed was delivered we're told they can't take the old frame as they have no way to dispose of it. I told then I don't either! Worst customer service ever. Currently dealing with them on trying to get my bed delivered. After spending almost $10,000 they pretty much couldn't care any less about their customer. I have reached out to the District Manager who now is not returning calls. The case manager in their service center is not empowered to do anything. What an experience!!! Purchased our first sleep number bed last week and I can't wait for it to be delivered. We were helped by Ashley and it was an amazing experience. She provided great customer service and after trying out the various beds we went with the Adjustable Cal King Flex Top P5. I left out of the store feeling so relaxed after trying out all the beds and finding our correct sleep numbers. Yes it was expensive but I'm sure it will be worth every penny. read more

All I can say is run from this type of bed. Certainly not worth the money, glorified air mattress, the top of which quickly became an indentation to sleep in. People in store nice of course, their income depends on sales. read more
