We went to Hobby Lobby' today to buy a table top pelican for someone's birthday. I had seen that…read morethe pelican was $16.99 online but it was marked $32.99 in the store. When I went through the checkout, I asked the cashier how much it was figuring she would punch in the code on the ticket and then tell me it was $16.99 Instead she told me "$32.99," I said "did you ring it in ?" and she said, " no it says $32.99". I then said "well online it said it was $16.99". I was almost sure it was but I didn't think of taking my phone out and showing her the app. She said to me," I have worked here a long time and I know my job and those are never on sale". I said very calmly "I didn't ask you how long you've worked here and I didn't say you weren't doing your job correct? All I did was ask you to ring it in to see how much it was" and she said "it's $32 ,99." So I left got in my car looked at the app and it said it was $16.99 which is what I thought. I went in and asked for the manager and the person who came upfront that said they were a manager told me that there was no way the girl could've done anything else but look at the ticket because unfortunately hobby lobby app marks things down but doesn't tell the stores? And here's what I don't get she said the girl couldn't ring it in?? So does that mean they don't keep track of their stock? That makes no sense to me whatsoever. I gave the store 1 stars because I do like hobby lobby. I do like the worship music that plays over the loudspeakers . However, I think they should really get this together somehow /could you imagine if I didn't know that I would've paid $32.99 for something that only cost $16.99. Again I raise the question if they just ring in what the ticket says and don't tell anybody what was bought how do they keep track of their stock??? I would love someone to answer that!!!

I even picked up a pencil plant or euphorbia tirucalli for you succulent aficionados out there. This is a gift shop that compliments their indoor plant shop! It has house decor, greeting cards, candy, candles, kid and dog toys, totes, and more! I really wanted the plant lady door mat and gonna see if it's there when I need a replacement for mine. It's quaint and smaller than I imagined. You've got to look up and down and all round so you don't miss all the different items offered. They will gift wrap your gifts even if you didn't buy it there. Today was awesome bc they treated us to HiFi cookies. I was told they will have them for sale in the future! When in the area, be sure and stop by this awesome local independent shop! I look forward to coming back.

In searching for DG stores I found out that they had a few test like stores called Popshelf. We were excited to shop the store! Very clean, bright, neat and stylish. I found a brand name planter that is normally $48 in the store for $15. I got hair products, snacks, school supplies and more. The store is bright and clean. Every item was quality and contemporary. Meaning, they carried current trend products and great popular brands. The highlight was checking out at the register. It's all self checkout. You scan and bag your products yourself. So cool. If I ever came back to Nashville, I would stop in to shop.

We needed a new mattress last year so we went to Sleep Outfitters. We were greeted right away and…read morethe staff was very friendly. We were concerned about getting a mattress that would be comfortable because I have a lot of back and hip pain. We were assured that we could purchase a mattress, try it out and return it for a REFUND if it didnt work out. We ended up purchasing a mattress for over 3k. After a week I hurt so bad I could hardly walk. We contacted the store and they tried to tell us that we had to sleep on it for 30 days before they could do anything. We asked how we could get around that and they did call and get it approved for us to return it before then. We went back in to try to find another mattress and were told that we could not get a refund, they only offer store credit towards another mattress. Even though they told us we could get a refund when we purchased the mattress, suddenly it was changed to only credit. We were also told that we would have to keep the next mattress we exchanged it for with no option to return if it didnt work. Since the other mattresses were at least 1k more than what we already paid, we ended up stuck with a 5k mattress that is horrible. We would never have purchased from Sleep Outfitters in the first place if we had known the only option was store credit if we didnt like the mattress. The salesmen are friendly, but lie to you to get you to feel comfortable making such a huge purchase thinking you can get your money back if it doesnt work out. Would never shop here again. We've been stuck with a mattress that causes horrible pain to my back and hips because we unfortunately trusted the word of the salesmen and the manager, Jay, instead of reading the fine print. Buyer beware!
