Overprice example is the bowl pictured below. Priced at $150. You can buy off Amazon for $20 and use your choice of chalk paint for around $5 from local craft store. Your money will be better spent at other home goods stores or Etsy shops.

I have spent quite a bit of time in Ash Blue, but today was different. I was greeted by a young teen that was a little bit too much. Not quite aggressive but too pushy. I was also was followed around the store by 2 employees to what appears to watch me for shoplifting. The entire time in the store I felt "watched" and not entirely welcome. I will try the store again, as I have picked up several gifts there in the past and have been pleased with everything I have purchased.

The box arrived and had been sealed with blue painters tape so it was obviously returned. The table was damaged. They don't issue call tags so I had to haul it to a UPS store. Spent an hour via chat and got absolutely no resolution even asking for my situation to be escalated to management multiple times. I was told I could call customer service. Spent an hour on the phone with customer service - I may as well had a conversation with the table itself because again, absolutely NO resolution or help. I should have thrown it away and disputed the charge. Not the level of service you would expect from a "high end" retailer like Pottery Barn! Good luck to anyone else with a customer service issue.

There's a lot from which to choose so when you come in, do so expecting to spend some time. Also expect to interact with nice people. For the entirety of my time in the store (early winter, late Saturday afternoon), I was the only person in the gallery. Rather than feeling awkward or conspicuous, I was greeted with warmth, offered a cider (I passed), given gift advice, and engaged in a conversation about (what else) Vanderbilt. Even if I'd had no intention on buying a thing, after my interaction I would have done so. I truly appreciated the hospitality. In a home gallery, that couldn't be more apropos. Two For Home isn't a place you wind up at. You plan to come here. But planning yields dividends. I'd be shocked if you didn't leave here with more than one item -- and more on your list of possibilities. Shop local and discover your metro all in one place. The owner and driver were both as polite and helpful as anyone could be. I have a unique rug and was worried that they wouldn't be able to repair it in a way that looked right, but they matched the yarn color and weight so well. I'd recommend them any day.
