Ordered a bed, delivery was a month out. Day of, after taking time off work I get a call an hour after it was supposed to be delivered to state they were missing pieces and need to push delivery out another couple weeks. Called the service number to no avail., but the person I had spoken to #050 was nice and understanding. As I see it there are 2 items that need to be addressed. 1) Communication. Prior to delivery time there was no shortage of texts and emails stating and confirming I would be available and have the space prepped. When the day happened it was not until after I had waited around for someone to show up that I learned they knew in the morning some parts had not arrived making delivery impossible. Which leads me to the next point. 2) Delivery. Why are parts arriving to you the morning of and not the day before to be counted and prepped. I can understand not wanting to stock for months on end. But this sets you up for failure and customer dissatisfaction. (Case in point) any sort of weather delays will cascade all your deliveries and more work on your end to shuffle everything again and again. Edit 1: Nick reached out to me, they found the missing pieces and delivery has been updated to next day. Will edit further once arrived. Edit 2: Bed was delivered next day, delivery crew was very nice and respectful of my home. Did a great job walking me through the entire setup. Do not buy a sleep number bed! They have absolutely horrible follow up customer service. The bladder inside our king size bed that we spent almost $10,000 on went bad before two years. They want me to pay an additional $309 to replace it! read more

We purchased our Sleep Number i8 queen size mattress set in August 2021. I decided wait to write a review of the mattress and the Pure Sleep Sleep Number store on Hall Rd until we'd had a chance to live with our new mattresses for awhile. It has been 6 months now and I can't say enough good things about the experience at the store, the customer service department at Sleep Number and the mattress itself. Our original purchase was the i8. It is a nice mattress and seemed like the perfect fit for the few minutes we tried it out in the store, but after a few weeks of real life sleeping it wasn't what we were expecting. We went back to the store and discussed our concerns with our salesman and without any questions he immediately ordered us the iLE Limited Edition as an exchange. We love our new mattress and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend the Pure Sleep store on Hall Rd in Clinton Twp. read more

Horrible experience with this company. Purchased the P5 Split King Mattress with the adjustable base and caused discomfort and pain for my wife and I. For such an expensive mattress it didn't feel much different than me $100 air mattress we use for camping. We called Sleep Number customer support for a solution and they said they would 2nd day air mattress toppers to see if they helped. Well they don't and they did not arrive for 5+ weeks (so much for second day air). The adjustable base is not refundable and Sleep Number says that it fits other mattresses, but it does not. The non Sleep Number mattress overhangs the width of the base at least 2 inches. Now we are stuck with a more than $2000 base that doesn't work and they are still charging us a $250 return fee. WORST company to work with and horrible customer service. AVOID DOING BUSINESS AT ALL COST read more

I was desperate for a good night of sleep. I used to have a hybrid foam/spring mattress from one of the big furniture stores in the area. After that wore out, I went with a cheaper memory foam mattress from a big local wholesale store. I did like the hybrid mattress until the springs wore out. I wasn't a fan of the memory foam mattress mainly because my engine runs hot, especially at night. Memory foam isn't a good option for me. When my wife and I tried out the sleep number beds at this location, we were blown away with regard to how incredibly comfortable the various models were. Randy was our friendly salesman that night. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He walked us through our options and helped us find the right bed we needed. I really enjoyed the fact that he created a no-pressure atmosphere. He was very genuine and made us feel very comfortable. We made the purchase and scheduled delivery of our new bed. Fast forward to delivery: the delivery team of Jason and Derell arrived on time. They promptly removed our old mattress and replaced it with the new magical mattress and base. Setup of the new bed didn't take long. Derell walked me through the operation of everything from the included remote and through the app on my phone. I'm really happy with my experience at Sleep Number. The mattress is incredible. I've had it 3 nights and I'm narrowing in on my perfect sleep number. I was sold on the smart bed aspect (sleep tracking and SleepIQ scores) as well as the 25 year warranty. The atmosphere in the store was also great. If you're in the market for a really good night of sleep, consider the Sleep Number store. Look for Randy, he helped us a lot. I bought the sleep number bed to help with acid reflux and fibromyalgia. Because he told me i had a 100 nights trial but he didn't bother to tell me that they only return the mattress they don't refund for the bed frame. You are stuck with it even though it doesn't help you sleep any better. They should tell people all aspects of what they get stuck with. I've called tech support like 3 times and always end up on hold or it tells you to press one for call back, but you don't get one. When i lay on it my hip drops but it doesn't adjust to level my spine. My back still hurts. I am now sleeping in a recliner waiting for them to pick up the mattress. But they did tell me i could sell the base on my own. I would just like companies to start be honest about there products. I have made so many calls there and it is always a struggle and you spend more time on hold. read more

On Saturday Mach 13, my wife and I went into a Sleep number store and tried out the beds. They were relatively busy so the salesman walked away from us more than once as we were testing the beds. My wife wanted to walk out at that moment but because my back is in constant pain we stayed to see if The bed would work. We Asked questions, recieved answers. Specifically asked about the warranty because that is always the issue with beds and were told not to worry we're not like other companies there is a full 15 year warranty on our products. Asked specifically about if the bed gets a rut or starts to sag in one spot. Bobby the salesperson said you would call sleep number and let customer service know and they get a new one out to you no questions asked No measuring, sending pictures or proof "We go on the honor system here at sleep number" We asked about if the pump goes bad he said no tools involved if it needs to be replaced they send it out you pop the hoses off the old one and onto the new one. We got the quote and left the store. We decided to purchase over another brand we were looking at and came in to do so on Monday 3/15 again asked about the warranty was then given the info of years of warranty on each part. Today 3/17 I heard from a friend the warranty is prorated and after year one after that it will cost you she had to pay over $200 for a new zipper pillow top. I called the store and no they did not answer so I called customer service and the rep gave me all the info on costs of each part and percentages of cost covered year 2 and beyond. Bobby the sales person called back from the store and I told him Everything the rep said He asked me who i talked to at the store. I told him that we talked to him. He then told me "Oh I absolutely told you about the warranty I always do, I tell the story of a guy who had the pump replaced after 8 years" I told him he absolutely did not as I called customer service to get the information. He proceeded to tell me he absolutely did on the 1st day we were there. I tried to even help him out it was busy that day he kept walking away from us maybe he thinks he told us and he didnt. He again told me he always does and absolutely told us about it. When I said I wish I would have recieved the correct information and I will discuss with my wife if we're going to cancel our order get a refund and go with the other company that actually has a better warranty. His response was ok bye do what you got to do and hung up on me. His response was rude unprofessional and I feel like since he already made the sale he clearly didnt care even if he had to misrepresent the warranty to make the sale. IF and that's a big if we choose to stay with the sleep number bed we just purchased we will definitely recommend everyone we know to stay far away from the location. read more

I purchased my bed less then a year ago. The pump no longer works. Of course it failed on a weekend night with no customer service and I had to use the chat application. After keeping me up for 60 minutes and accomplishing nothing, I was forced to contact customer service the next Monday. On the first call, I was disconnected by customer service and had to call back. On the second call, I was assisted by a exceptional customer service representative who walked me through several steps that ultimately failed. She ordered a new pump for the bed and told me that I would need to contact customer service once I had the replacement part in hand to schedule a technician. The part arrived, I called to schedule a technician and was informed of a $99.00 service charge. This was a shock because I have owned the bed for less than a year and was told I had a 25 year warranty. I complained to the customer service representative and eventually the fee was waived. I then tried to schedule a technician and was informed it would be 3 weeks before one could come to my home. Overall, my experience with Sleep Number has been a great disappointment. I will never recommend your product to anyone in the future and will go out of my way to discourage anyone I know from purchasing your product. read more

After all sorts of promises and rehearsed apologies from Sleep Number, we got a call today confirming delivery for 12/22. Shortly thereafter, we got another call saying they were missing parts and the bed would NOT be delivered tomorrow. Having had our fill of BS, we cancelled the order. I've never dealt with a company as disorganized and outright ridiculous as Sleep Number. I strongly advise against dealing with this company. They will take your money but don't hold your breath waiting for your bed to arrive. read more
