Employees didn't seem really interested in selling anything. The conversation were not engaging. There is no good quality furniture in the place. If you want stylish cheaply made furniture with the cheap price to match, this is your place. It's kind of like shopping at a Target or an Art Van (not sure if they are still around?). I think what made me leave and want to NEVER come back is when I asked to the sales representative to direct me to the lady's room. She responded, "We don't have a public restrooms. Our restrooms are near our offices." That was a perfect example of poor customer service. She could have mentioned where the nearest public bathroom was located. Horrible delivery men. Propped doors with rocks that fell almost hitting my 3 year old. Asked about why no door stops, nasty attitude of don't let your kid "mess" with the door all the while I was bringing in 2 wheelchaired persons. Delivery men saying to not try to tell him how to do his job. If blocking doors with furniture and dragging said furniture across gravel is top notch and a part of this company. I would never go with them. Maybe train better for people skills and furniture handling. Horrible horrible. read more

Then one day I heard on AM 1070 about Cort Furniture Clearance Center. So what if furniture is not brand new from a box. I am happy with good furniture at a decent price. Cort's new furniture is brand new floor model. Cort's used furniture is the one that was rented out to model homes or offices. As I walked in, Sherry greeted me. She asked me what I was looking for. I told her I need a dining room set and sofa. After finding out the color of my floor, she showed me a 7 piece dining set and a chocolate color L-shaped sofa. I told her I need time to think about them, so she stepped away and gave me my space. I appreciate that very much. I don't like sales people, who follow me around. Honestly, I didn't believe Sherry at first. I checked out the whole store looking for something better. Guess what? After 1 hour of walking around and thinking hard, I still came back to the furniture, which Sherry picked out for me. It's a big decision, so I rather go home and think about it. Sherry politely said good bye, no pressuring me to buy them at the very moment. I came back the next day with my sister, and she agreed with what Sherry suggested. So after all that, I got a used dining set, a new cross sectional sofa with ottoman, and a TV stand for $1200. Quality of furniture is superb, so much higher than what I expected. Finally a super rude lady from their accounts department called me and said they will refund the money when I complained to her I have been waiting for a month for refund, she gave a indifferent and rude attitude and told me it will take another 3-5 days. I'd just visited the other furniture stores in the area and nothing had caught my eye. I decided to check out Cort because I'd walked around there before and liked that the employees were helpful but not pushy. I saw a really cute couch in the back that would fit my apartment perfectly. When it looked like me and another lady in the store might be interested in it Justin checked to see if there was a second available. Luckily I was able to get the one in the store with an additional discount off the sticker price. When I came to pick it up, the employees help me get it onto my dad's truck. I've had it a few months now and it's super comfortable and holding up well. I love cort. They have really high-quality furniture at great prices. Even though it's used it feels more clean and sanitary than buying something at a thrift store or garage sale. I'd definitely consider shopping there again if I move. read more
