He was so helpful in finding me the best deals possible and ultimately got the mattress, box spring and delivery all done within my budget. When it came time for the mattress to be delivered, the day before I received an automated call with my delivery time between 10:15 and 12:15. Imagine my surprise when at 8:30 I get a call saying they'll be there in ten. In trying to call them back, I did have some difficulty getting through to a representative as the store was not yet open. Finally after rushing home, I found the delivery men had waited. They were extremely helpful and carried the mattress up all the way to the third floor! Unfortunately the box spring did not fit up the narrow staircase so I declined delivery. I called up Mike and he was able to offer me a split box spring which I could pick up that same day. He even offered to drive it to me on his truck. I ended up going back to the store and we tied it to the roof of my car. No extra charge for the change up! I will recommend this mattress firm to anyone and everyone I know buying a mattress. Steve immediately greeted us and let us try out some beds. He asked good questions to determine what kind of mattress we were seeking and he listened and was thoughtful in suggesting a few to try. He got us some great discounts, too. We were able to get a twin foam mattress, a box spring and mattress protector for under $400. The mattress actually came in a box that fit in the front seat of our car. That was wild! The box spring fit in our SUV and Steve carried it out, helped twine/bungie, and then sent us on our way. We did decide the box spring is too tall so I'm communicating with Mattress Warehouse for an exchange, but so far that has been decent too. We will definitely buy our future mattresses from this place and hopefully directly from Steve.

They didn't have any in stock, but the lady made some calls to local stores to see what they had in stock. She then offered free delivery (drop off only/no set up) for Sunday. I didn't want to "sleep" on that deal, so I said yes! The man who rang up the sale (I think his name is James) was so nice. Very professional and respectful, helpful and patient. The delivery happened on Sunday and went off without a hitch. Two guys came walking up the hill, each carrying a twin box spring that was factory sealed and in perfect condition. Between the holiday sale prices, the excellent customer service and the Sleepy's brand box spring foundations, I will now be sleeping easy on my new King bed.

The furniture being offered here is just lot after lot of refuse that hotels and office buildings were going to throw away - so Overstock Outlet is going to sell whatever they can, and drag the rest across the street to the dump. Any upholstered furniture has to be riddled with bodily fluids, and the rest *look* like they belong in a cheap hotel - not your home. There are real used furniture stores that sell good pieces (Owings Mills, Timonium, Glen Burnie), go support them.

So I had to deal with someone else at the store on the phone. He sounds like a nice guy and said he'll make it right but we'll see. We will be without a bed again. So frustrating! I can't stand incompetence. So when delivery guys come we have to refuse the wrong box spring and wait for them to take it out of the system so a new ticket can be created with the correct box spring. And the box spring won't be delivered until tomorrow. Aaaghh... I will update again with hopefully a happy resolution.
