On appearances, it is an average UHaul location, with lots of 10 ft. trucks available. Nothing special, until Jerone walks in. Jerone was single-handedly running this entire operation, between moving trucks, cleaning them out, and managing the front desk. He was quick and knowledgeable, and made this the EASIEST UHaul experience- both at checkout on Tuesday and return Wednesday AM- that I have ever encountered. However, I was called 5 minutes later and was told I was going to be punished for not taking it to the original location. I was then told my issue would be escalated, but it's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything from anyone. I've been using Uhaul since 2000. I understand I made a mistake. I was given a chance to correct this mistake. The person that charged me didn't even have the courage to call me, and used another manager to give me the bad news. Travelstead Transportation Group was an amazing choice and I highly recommend it to anyone that has the opportunity to choose a moving company. Starting with the coordinating over the phone, they were very professional with getting an estimate and scheduling a walkthrough to take a survey. Once we landed on a quote, the moving process was super seamless. The team showed up early and were ready to get started. Super professional and no surprises as they were very communicative with what they were doing, timelines, etc. They were even able to cut down some costs from the quote based on how they were able to consolidate some packing/supplies to not use as much (but without compromising safety of goods). After everything was said and done (finished with more than an hour to spare from the original quote), there were no damages and they assembled everything that they took apart. Don't get me wrong, the price tag is a bit high but with moving companies, you get what you pay for. I'd gladly pay that amount again for the level of service that was provided. Will definitely consider hiring again (hopefully I don't have to move again in the near future).
