I was surprised when we arrived to find that the campground was on hills with a pond and fountain. There are even white ducks wandering around that mostly stay near the pond. Even though the freeway is right next to it we could barely hear it from our site, which was a long, cement back in opening to a hill. Lots of trees, a pool, and a small dog park. The folks who ran it were super nice and helpful as well which is very important to me. I'd stay here again if we were over that way. read more

We didn't stay long, but from what I saw the park is well maintained and quite beautiful! They had a playground, a pool, laundry services, a dog park, and a small fishing pond! Also, the hosts were very friendly either on phone or in person! Will return if we find ourselves through here again! read more

This is a great place to stay when visiting Laurel. Very nice camp sites and pet friendly. The owners are an awesome couple. The couple we traveled with had water issues in their rig and the owner of the campground took time to help them fix the problem and he did this in the rain. Then they helped us find a good place to eat as well. We will definately stay here again. read more

This is the most haphazard, careless and expensive RV park I have been to. I was there one night and did not have a sewer hook-up even though it was advertised as full hook-up. My sewer hookup was being used by the neighbor. We were told just to find a hook- up and use it. Additionally we shared a water faucet with the neighbor so pressure was low all the time. My advice, avoid this campsite at all cost. read more

f your as lucky as I am maybe you'll get to meet Chuck Norris too. We're a full time family and we've been to over 100 parks. Navigating the hills and trees with our 40' fifth wheel want a problem. Only a handful of sites don't have concrete pads yet, not an issue since we see there upgrading as they can. Pool looked fun but it's closed. Restrooms were clean and the laundry rooms worked well. Got woken up a little after 7am by chain saws cutting down trees. Was upset cause quiet time ends at 8am. As we were packing up Chuck came over and respectfully apologized for what was going on. It was out of his control and since he felt bad about it he refunded us that nights stay. With traveling as long as we have I can honestly say this is the first time an owner has personally apologized for an issue at a park. To me that means alot!! Because of that face to face, acknowledgement of the issue and the resolution I have nothing but respect for Chuck. We will be back and will definitely recommend this nice little place. read more

This is the second winter we have stayed in Sleepy Hollow RV, and we will be back for a 3rd winter. The park is very clean, great for dogs, well lit and monitored for safety. The owner is very friendly and has done many updates within the 2 winters we've stayed. I love the lights he just added around the pond! It makes the park! I enjoy walking this park with my dog - and the owner is in the process of adding a nature trail which he's adding lights to. The sites are nice and level and most are paved. He's added several sights within the past year. The staff has been great and always friendly. This park has become a home away from home! read more

This is a little gem hidden from the electronic age. Cannot make reservations using today's electronics. You must call and talk to a resonant on the phone. Told no problem for one night. When we got there we decided to stay for 2 nights. We choose a gravel pull thru over a concrete pad which was a back in. The pull thru had full shade during the day. The restroom was super clean. Well we spent another fabulous time at this park again. We had our first anniversary here. This is our 3rd stay at the park and it gets better each time. We consider Chuck and Angie family. We were able to have our same site. Chuck has made alot of improvements there since we have been going. If you are going to Laurel or just passing thru and need a great place to park an Rv, this is the place. We have already booked for next year. Just a great place with super nice people to work with. If any review is prior to Oct. 2020 you can disregard it because there's a new owner in town, and it has become an excellent RV campground, and it's still improving! Many concrete pads are still being poured, however we stayed on a gravel and dirt lot which was perfectly fine. The campground feels like you are in a rustic, heavily wooded retreat, with all the full hook ups. Easy in and out too! Propane is available. General store is rather spartan, but anything you need is a few miles away in Laurel, which you should visit anyways. Would definitely return here. read more

This is a pretty park (trees) and the staff are nice but its run down (Note: new owner is starting to improve things though). I'm giving it 2 stars because of the ANTS. They got into our Rv and it's now been 2 months and we're still having problems. I complained a few times to the staff and they came immediately to spray around our campsite but it really didn't help. The manager said they were told by pest control experts that ants are inevitable wherever you have pine straw. Well, if that's true, the park needs to rake that stuff up all around the campsites. An ant infestation is unacceptable! We camped in a class A motor home. read more

We stayed on lot 10 by the pond. It's very hard to level on this site and there's a family that lives next door for over two years in a camper. So the lower level of this campground has a lot of residents full time. We've stayed in the upper level previously and I would totally recommend that level. It has wifi and is pretty nice.
