Big girl on a big slide

Stopped by yesterday for some fun with the kids. (9yo/5yo) Loved that both found activities that they enjoyed. We did 90 mins and my little was done but could have done 120 for the older. I didn't find the space was very accessible. (Note I did t ask for an accommodations) I had to buy a pass to help my daughter up and down the slides. (I would walk her up and then walk down to meet her) It's loud. I am not sure her noise canceling headphones would have been safe going down head first. They didn't want you to bring in outside food or water. So I struggled to keep her body temperature regulated given all the amazing fun. It's a lot of stairs.

The first word that comes to mind is "chaos"! Definitely a fun concept but very chaotic. First of all, the parking is scarce, we had to park around the side of the giant chain of buildings and there isn't a side walk to safely get to the door. The line to get in was super long, but luckily we were part of a birthday party and got to go straight in and up the stairs. It was a bit wild and kids were pushing others out of the way and cutting in line, which was obviously very annoying. However, there were lots of things to do and the lines weren't too bad. You have to go down each slide on your stomach and head first, which makes it kind of scary, and I'm not really sure why that is a rule, but o well.

Slick City: A Crowd-Pleasing Thrill Ride (5 Stars!) Slick City does not disappoint! I heard about this place through friends and decided to try it out during the school break - and I'm so glad I did! The place was hopping when we got there but don't let that scare you. The line moved fast and we got our wristbands in no time. Pro-tip: Buy your minutes in person! If you do buy online get there early to maximize your park time and avoid the line. Once inside the organization was smooth. The lines for the slides moved quick and the staff was great, keeping everything running smoothly despite the big crowd. This was impressive! While the crowds might still be overwhelming for some especially on weekends I imagine during the week would be a much more relaxed experience. I went in thinking the slides were just bigger versions of what you'd find at a regular playground. Boy was I wrong! These slides were amazing! Some were intense like a roller coaster and others were mellow like a lazy river in slide form. The variety was the biggest surprise - there's a slide for everyone, for all thrill levels. Overall Slick City delivered. It's fun, energetic and surprisingly diverse. I highly recommend it. Just remember those tips for navigating the crowds and get ready for a wild ride!

Lively and energetic place to bring the kids! Might I add, crawling with germs! SO MANY people! Slick City offers a unique experience with massive slides that are best suited for older children and teens. For the younger ones (4 and under), there's an indoor gym and bounce net to keep them entertained. The facility also has a café with basic, kid-friendly meals and snacks, though the food quality could be better, and the lines are quite long and slow. Some machines, like the Icee dispenser, were out of order during our visit. A few things to keep in mind/consider: Highly recommend you pre-order your tickets online - don't expect to buy them at the door. They were turning people away. Also, you'll need to purchase "Slick City socks" to use the slides, and there are a lot of stairs to climb, so be ready for both extra costs and plenty of stair-stepping. Despite a few drawbacks, it's a vibrant and fun place to spend a few hours. The kids had a blast!

Such a fun experience! Adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids! Big area for little kids to play, full cafe, birthday party hang out, so many slides!

There's lots of room to run around and not feel crowded which is a plus, especially the day after Christmas. I liked that the lines were short waits to help kids maximize the fun. They require everyone participating to get Urban Air socks (they're like thinner hospital socks with grip at the bottom) as no shoes are allowed for play. The socks were helpful in reducing slips but the two times it was annoying was when you needed to go to the bathroom and when riding the slide the grip on the socks made sliding down hard. Staff was relatively friendly and handled kids and adults well when strapping on harnesses. I purchased the group play pass which included 3 kids and 2 adults + socks, 1 large 1 topping pizza, 3 small icees and 2 sodas for about $130 after tax. It was fun for kids and participating adults. If you're purchasing tickets and socks individually it gets expensive fast so consider the group play pass. For the cost of one adult and two kids, socks, pizza and drinks it was only about $30 difference so it's definitely more bang for your buck. When buying tickets online it makes you choose a date and time but I had called and confirmed you aren't stuck with that time and the tickets are valid for 90 days or 1 year (the staff I spoke with couldn't recall). If you're worried about weight or height restrictions there's a minimum height for certain activities but there isn't a listed max so just keep in mind that these are designed for kids so even at my short stature (5'2") I had to crouch a bit for some things. For weight capacity for trampolines they said it's 250lbs and for harness activities it's 230lbs. With that said I think there needs more supervision both from parents and staff. There were lots of little ones running around unsupervised and staff are really only located at harness activities. One younger boy had wiped out in the ball pit against the edge for entry/exit. It is padded but a hard and fast fall will hurt. I asked if he was okay and he said yes but he looked again he was bleeding from the mouth. I had to locate both the adult he came with and then a worker since some of the balls had blood on it. The worker had notified someone on a walkie talkie but I don't think anything was done about the bloodied balls.

We came to Urban Air for my nephews 6th birthday party. We rented the "rooftop" party room with…read morehost and the party upgrade for the kids wristbands which meant they had access to the entire space with no restrictions. We arrived 12:40pm with our decorations and cake on the day of the party. Immediately I could sense there was a problem. After standing around for about 10 minutes I finally asked if the room was ready and where was the host? A young kid finally appeared and said I'm here for Cameron's party. He led us upstairs but said nothing. No introduction, no run down of what to expect. Finally I asked him his name. He passed out socks to 5-7 year olds and gave them wristbands but that's it. The kids began to run around. Again now it's 10 after 1 and I asked him what is the plan? He said what do you mean? I'm asked him do you make an announcement? Do they just go what's happening when do you begin to host? He said they are free to go (epic fail). The space was quite large it was a closed off room and then another larger space with three couches, 2 high top tables, no side tables and it was upstairs away from everything so the fact that there was no formal directions, or announcement made by the party host was very confusing. We told the kids they could go and off they went. Everything with the kids was fine for about 20 minutes then some of the adults and kids came back saying they were being turned away from some of the activities. My sister was handling the food order so we didn't get it addressed right away. Fast forward we were supposed to eat at 2:30. Only half of the pizza came out (the other half came out after we did cake), we had no water other than the warm bottles that was set out when we got there, when I asked the kitchen/ordering area for water because we could not find our host (a trend for most of the party) I was told "oh no we don't do all that". I ordered French fries and was given a tray of old cold, French fries. The wristbands the kids were given were wrong and they were not corrected until after we ate which was at 3:15 (the party ended at 4). We could not find the host to get the things we needed, I had him paged many times and he didn't come ... overall this was terrible service. For the amount of money my sister paid for this party nothing was given. We did all the work. I do not recommend this location of urban air. I'm also leaving out the details related to the dirty furniture, the unkept restrooms and the rude staff at the cafe.

Wild Thing lives up to it's name. I almost quoted the Troggs to start this review but I couldn't…read morelive with myself so I went back and took it out. (It still applies though.) Running parallel to Highway 101, Wild Thing clearly announces itself as the headliner of Valleyfair. It was the first Morgan coaster, to my knowledge, that I've ridden, and I was a bit leery, thinking it might be annoying rough like old school Arrow coasters can be. While not buttery smooth like some more modern coasters are, Wild Thing passed my test in the turbulence department with flying colors. It has just enough shakiness to keep things interesting. Even the back row was completely enjoyable. The first hill, 207 feet, is a doozy, but the airtime off the second hill was the highlight for me. There was more airtime riding at the front, too, which I found interesting. It was a brisk day when we went to Valley fair with a light rain, and this green monster almost lost my gray winter skullie cap to a mighty updraft. On one of our 4 rides the rain picked up a bit and stung as it hit my face while we barreled through the course. That was actually enjoyable, in a strange masochistic way. The bunny hills after the mid course brake run (more like a 3/4ths course brake run) are a blast and the multi-hill tunnel at the end sets you up perfectly for mugging for the on-ride camera. Even if you don't shell out for key chains and whatnot don't miss stopping at the photography booth on your way out. I've never seen funnier on-ride photos. After just one ride, you can see where that flash in the dark is and do some crazy poses yourself. Wild Thing was never much more than a station wait. (Our first time riding the queue stretched just a little beyond the station.) One of the ride ops was a bit of a hard ass. He tried to walk of shame some kid off the train even after the guy with the measuring stick said she passed. Looking like a sheepish shoplifter, she passed again, barely, and the whole station erupted in cheers and applause. That same hard ass said I couldn't reride if there was anybody waiting at all, even if there was empty rows, after another employee had given moving to an empty row her blessing. Booo! He also made me take my hat off and, okay, he was probably right about that. Wild Thing is nearly flawless. My sole critique is that the transitions between the elements in the middle might be a little too long. That massive turn around looks really cool, and there's some nice hand chopper moments in the ensuing straight away but it's a little long between hills. Wild Thing puts this place on the map. We rode it 4 times, but I could have easily went for a dozen.

The ride was awesome it was flying going really fast and the drop is AMAZING I would deff recommendread more
