I walkI walk by this sweet shop every once in a while, telling myself the next time I come through, I'll stop in. Well, today, I stepped in. I just wish I had more time, but the chocolates looked interesting. The associate was a bit busy but took the time to assist me with the truffles. I bought eight pieces, including peanut butter, coffee, espresso, salted caramel, and mandarin. I was shocked to pay $39.00 but paid for it, and so did my wife. I didn't think about it, but when I came home, I thought about a box of See's Candy. Nevertheless, I wanted it to be an experience. Again, it would have been nice if I had had the time to look around. What drew me into the shop was the outside appearance, and once I got in, there were loads to choose from, even chips. I think you need to come in to experience it yourself. Oh, it was cool to see that they serve ice cream!I occasionally pass by this confectionary store and tell myself that I will visit it the next time I am in the area. Today, I finally decided to enter the establishment. Unfortunately, I was limited on time, but the chocolates appeared intriguing. The sales associate was slightly occupied but still took the time to assist me in selecting truffles. I purchased eight pieces, including peanut butter, coffee, espresso, salted caramel, and mandarin flavors. I was surprised to see the total cost of $39.00 but made the purchase, as did my wife. I did not consider the price at the time, but upon returning home, I could not help but compare it to a box of See's Candy. Nonetheless, I wanted this to be a unique experience. It would have been preferable if I had more time to explore the store. The exterior appearance of the shop initially drew me in, and once inside, I discovered a wide variety of options, including chips. I believe that visiting the store in person is necessary to fully appreciate it. Additionally, I was delighted to discover that they also serve ice cream.

Whenever we go to SLO for breakfast at Louisa's Place, we have to stop by for some goodies at SLO Sweets! So many sweet treats and yummy candies to choose from! Nice staff, too!

Single packet of fun dip was $4.99

Save your money and walk down the street to the other candy store. My child and I discovered this place after participating in The bunny trail last night. We normally go to the candy store that is a half a block away but I decided to go to this one instead since they supported the local event. My child picked out for small candies and I was shocked at the register that it was over $30 especially since some of the candies she got were very small (like a single packet of fun dip but apparently cost 4.99 and a small box of boton rice candy that we normally get at the grocery store for less than a dollar a box that was $5.99) and if the other candy store we usually get a whole bag of candy for around $30. The biggest shocker was the single tube of slime licker candy apparently was $15.99. Just had a curiosity we walked down the street to the other candy store and looked and the same exact slime liquor candy was $5.99. I am all for supporting small business and local but we definitely will not be returning.

This place is so overpriced! Even a shop like rocket fizz is cheaper. A single box of candy that's $3 at CVS is up to $10 here!

I think her name is Lena. - The red rooibos tea was delicious! I particularly loved the dairy free, nut free Matcha soft serve. I hope that this is added to the menu for individual purchase in the near future. - The tower had a great presentation factor. My favorite sandwich was the ham and brie with honey. My only feedback is the cost of my club soda was eight dollars which I would've liked to have known at the time of purchase. In addition, investing in environmentally friendly to go containers such as paper would be wonderful.

Came here to celebrate my now, sister-in-law's Bridal Shower. We had Reservations for a party of 8 + a child on a Sunday at noon. Bella was our lovely belle. She was super friendly, polite & gave great recommendations for all of us first timers. Thanks Bella for an awesome Tea Party Experience! Wonderful presentation of Afternoon Tea. We all went with the Signature Tea. It included a choice of Tea, an assortment of 5 petite sandwiches, 2 scones with jams, & 5 gourmet pastries. We ordered 4 orders of the Signature Tea, since it was meant for a pair to share. Four orders for 8.5 of us was perfect for a light lunch. Or an afternoon snack, lol. Note: It may not look like a lot, but having a whole pot of tea to yourself will definitely get you feeling full haha Everything was delicious! & super Cute! I was in love with their house made jam. I believe one of the owners came out to give me more info on the fruits used. Blueberry, Raspberry & Strawberry Jam. Yum! Definitely worth a try at Breda for a special occasion. As there aren't many Tea Places in the surrounding areas.

It just so happens that my brother in law told me to stop in San Luis Obispo during my pacific coast highway roadtrip, told me it was a really cute area he thought I would love. Little did he know at the time, there is a coffee shop, the BEST coffee shop in San Luis Obispo that's called Scout coffee and Scout is the name of my brother in law's daughter AKA my niece so this was fate. Fate I tell you. I came here later in the day on Saturday right before closing, the shop is just adorable, really sweet tables outside on the street and some seating inside as well. They had some delicious looking pastries in the window and they had merch. Yes I came for the coffee, sure but I came for the Scout merch for my niece when she grows up and wants to drink coffee out of a mug and thinks it's just the coolest thing that her Aunt went to California for the sole purpose of buying her this mug, or something like that. They had mugs alright, $18 a pop. They had some t-shirts too that were PRICEY and sweatshirts that were even pricier. It was a bummer because they didn't have a lot of size options and when I asked the staff if they had more in the back they were not the friendliest bunch. Anyways, got two Scout coffee mugs and a Scout coffee travel sticker and of course a coffee. It was late so I had a decaf americano and went on my way. I came back the next morning for a regular drip coffee and the place was busy! This time, the guy helping me behind the counter was an absolute sweetheart. We made some small talk and it put a better taste in my mouth from my experience with the staff the day before. They don't use sleeves here and I LOVE THAT. I hate sleeves on coffee cups I really and truly do. They tied a napkin around instead and I've never seen that before. The coffee was delish, love the name of the shop, love the merchandise.

Learned that they offer milkshakes as their frozen drinks so ordered a coffee flavor with no whip cream. It was $8 for a regular size so a bit pricey for sure. It was good, creamy, cold and I always appreciate smooth milkshakes. I wish it was a stronger coffee flavor and the reason for the 3 and not 4 stars. Friendly staff, efficient in how you order and receive your drink and yes...they are busy and it takes a tad of waiting for your order. Dog friendly patio out front.
