We all opted for the yogurt at the end. The line can get long, but it does move forward and we managed to grab our yogurts, toppings, and paid for them! Pismo Yogurt was such a fun stop for us! I ordered the Rocky Road and it was so good -- rich, chocolatey, and hit the spot. My daughter got the Cookie Monster, and it quickly became her favorite... we ended up coming back for it two times in a row! The staff were nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Frozen yogurt place which I wasn't interested in, but I searched ahead of time and found they also serve ice cream from some Chocolate Shoppe ice cream which looked like an established Wisconsin ice cream, so chose this place for ice cream instead of other nearby ice cream shop, since I'm not going anywhere near Wisconsin any time soon, lol! I haven't been here in about 6 years until today's visit. The interior looks exactly the same. The plastic furniture, walls, etc are showing their age. The little shop could really use a fresh coat of paint and a little deep cleaning. That said, the machines themselves looked clean and the attendant seemed to clean them up between guests. I hope the owners consider giving this spot a little TLC and it may go a long way to bring in more business. read more
