Great local location near the Pismo Beach Pier. Street parking only. By far has the MOST toppings I've seen comparing to Yogurtland and Menchies. Having the multiple options of being able to order Acai, Ice Cream, or self serve yogurts. I believe it was $0.91/ounce, yet totally worth it. In a convenience location, near the pier, and in the middle of several shopping stores and restaurants. The place was clean, and the service was quick. Overall: I will definitely come back once back in the area. read more

A convenient spot for self-serve yogurt. They have other things on the menu, such as ice cream, and Acai bowls. The flavors for the yogurt seems very limited, compared to the variety of toppings that are available! If you're getting the ice cream, you'd still have to line up with all the people getting the self-serve yogurt before you get to the counter to place your order for ice cream. We all opted for the yogurt at the end. The line can get long, but it does move forward and we managed to grab our yogurts, toppings, and paid for them! There are limited seats inside the yogurt store, but there are plenty of picnic tables and benches just outside of the stores as you head toward the pier. read more

Pismo Yogurt was such a fun stop for us! I ordered the Rocky Road and it was so good -- rich, chocolatey, and hit the spot. My daughter got the Cookie Monster, and it quickly became her favorite... we ended up coming back for it two times in a row! The staff were nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The ambiance was really cool too, especially with the open window where you can take in the sights while enjoying your treat. Definitely a place we'd come back to again! read more

Located in the heart of Pismo right at Pomeroy & Cypress, literally steps from the pier. We stumbled in for dessert while walking to the beach after lunch, and it was a great find. If you're here for frozen yogurt, it is fully self-serve. Just grab a cup, mix your favorite flavors and toppings, and pay by weight. Beyond FroYo, they also serve acai bowls, strawberry cups, and ice cream. There is truly something for every craving! I was thrilled to find Taro frozen yogurt here since it's such a rare flavor. I filled my cup, topped it with nuts and cherries, and it was absolutely perfect and satisfying. The inside seating has a lovely, breezy coastal vibe, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Frozen yogurt place which I wasn't interested in, but I searched ahead of time and found they also serve ice cream from some Chocolate Shoppe ice cream which looked like an established Wisconsin ice cream, so chose this place for ice cream instead of other nearby ice cream shop, since I'm not going anywhere near Wisconsin any time soon, lol! The frozen yogurts are self serve, but if want ice cream you have to ask for it at the cashier. Can even sample if want to, friendly gal gets from the old fashioned ice cream cart looking top opening coolers. I just wanted to try the me want cookie since it was colorful and fun and description looked good. Wife always wants coffee flavor, so got the exhausted parent by default without sampling, lol. Got 3 scoops of those along with the this sh?! just got serious. - Me want cookie = this was my fav. fun color and delicious of course, just check the description! - This sh?! just got serious = excellent as well, can't go wrong with salted caramel. - Exhausted parent = this was the only flavor we didn't like, the bourbon flavor overpowered the coffee, so it wasn't the "coffee" flavor we were looking for. Their ice cream is super creamy! They serve an ice cream from Wisconsin so it's not "homemade" but it's some of the best ice cream I've had! Needed a sweet treat after dinner so walked down the street towards the pier! They have a large open window where you can enjoy the fresh air and ocean breeze and a few tables and chairs to sit and eat your sweets. They sell various yogurt flavors and have a ton of toppings to choose from - when you're done you place your cup on a scale and you pay per oz. Such a cute clean spot! Stopped by on a whim and asked if they carried any vegan options. To my surprise they have two vegan frozen yogurt flavors, a sorbet, and a cashew base vegan ice cream. This time it was a cherry flavor. The lady offered me a sample and so I tried and fell in love! Bought a scoop on the spot! I wish I lived closer. So yummy. The atmosphere was super adorable too! Amazing yogurt So when we come to pismo to see my grandparents, we always go to pismo yogurt. They use real ingredients and its just tastes so good. They switch up the flavors every once in a while, so you can always have a new selection. I haven't been here in about 6 years until today's visit. The interior looks exactly the same. The plastic furniture, walls, etc are showing their age. The little shop could really use a fresh coat of paint and a little deep cleaning. That said, the machines themselves looked clean and the attendant seemed to clean them up between guests. I hope the owners consider giving this spot a little TLC and it may go a long way to bring in more business. read more

Took the kids here the other night the service is OK maybe it was a bad night. Maybe that's just the service. The yogurt was fantastic. I don't remember what I got but it was good. Everybody seem to like it. The kids, the wife everybody it's a yogurt shop. It's nice inside nothing fancy, but definitely clean and well capped. Was in and out of this place with the kids was not able to take pictures. read more

Has it been awhile since I've had frozen yogurt and is this coloring my review of this establishment? Maybe. Was it rock solid frozen yogurt with a large variety of toppings with limited other dessert options in the immediate area around Pismo Pier? Absolutely. I got orange sherbet, dole whip, and vanilla topped with graham cracker crumbs, cheesecake bites, pineapple, strawberries, and two cherries. The line moved impossibly slow but that is not the fault of the establishment, just due to the crowds on an early August Saturday and many children attempting to get every single optional topping. 3 large (20 oz) of a variety of weights was ~$32. I love frozen yogurt and whenever a place serves Dole Pineapple you know I have to get it. I got my two favorite froyo flavors: pineapple and plain tart and topped it with a couple scoops of mochi. I keep my froyo order very simple, but it's so refreshing and tasty. The pineapple flavor was on point and the tart here was satisfying. I paid around $7 for a good portion of yogurt which is roughly the same as I would pay at any other chain froyo spot. The staff here is awesome and they are all so friendly, overall make a stop here if you are craving a cold treat! read more

A great stop in Pismo Beach. My husband and I stopped in on our way to the beach. They offered a lot of flavors and toppings to choose from. I really enjoyed the original tart flavor and all the fruit toppings they offered. The yogurt ended up being delicious. The fruit toppings tasted really fresh and flavorful. Pismo Yogurt has the type of frozen yogurt I like! Great place for an after meal dessert and just to cool off on a nice warm day out. You could choose from a variety of 8 flavors. My favorite is the plain tart and pineapple flavor. I've gone to a lot of yogurt shops but this place is always on my to go list when I am in town. They have the most variety for self-serve toppings, and these strawberry popping boba balls that they have are amazing! The Look and Atmosphere of the Shop The Shop was quite small, a bit dirty but it's a little shop, what can we expect (see image 2). There was no seating except some hard wooden benches without a table to eat or anything. There really weren't much to-go options either. It was really uncomfortable to just sit in there wi the out any tables or anything even padding on the seats.
