$$$$$ Its a cute shop, lots of different flavored sodas. Some interesting candies but many can be bought at CVS or 7-11. I get it, its a tourist shop but I was very surprised by the final cost. Young lady blond short hair with hand brace was SO NOT into her work atmosphere. I asked the flavor of the gift sodas she shrugs "same just with food coloring". One was cream one was berry flavored. We were talking about the Dubai chocolates not asking her the prices w/o looking up she rambles off 14, 12 and 11. I guess she was asked too many times the prices? Fun store but expensive.

    Lots of drink choices!

Soo much sugar! What a cool candy store. Soo many choices. Reasonable prices. Cute signs too!

This place will take you back in time and around the world on all the different candies. 5 star for there selection and decorations of the place. It was well organized and brought back a lot of memories. 4 stars for the customer service, maybe they were tired after a long day so will give grace. The person at the cashier didn't know where they hold there sour candies. I eventually found it on my own.

Do you have Pickle Soda? Yes, we have that!

When was the last time you could find your favorite soda pop from back in the day? How about a few more modern, unique selections such as pickle, sweet corn or enchilada flavored soda pop? Yes, they carry them here! The bright, inviting interior houses a wide selection of regular & hard-to-find candies, taffy, liquid refreshments, collectible memorabilia and unique gifts. It's a fun atmosphere with pop culture props and a bicycle built for two (tandem bicycle) hanging from the ceiling in the center of the store. Located downtown on Higuera Street, Rocket Fizz fills a niche in SLO. If you're looking to find a gift or unique item for a hard-to-shop-for person, this store can help create a nice gift basket for you. The employees we talked with are very knowledgeable, enthusiastic & pleasant. Rocket Fizz offers something for children & adults alike.

The hard-to-find Zero bar is here! Along with my childhood faves like Hubba Bubba and Bubble Yum gum that I haven't seen in 47 years! We heard about the Gum Wall and had to contribute. I love candy shops all over the country, and this one doesn't disappoint. If you're missing something from your childhood, you'll probably find it here.

Great place for nostalgia and fun! We saw a wide variety of candies and drinks from our childhood! Very helpful employees who were friendly named Jeremiah and Madden. They had a great playlist! And an even greater attitude. They made sure we had everything we needed to wrap up a wonderful trip to this location. Thank you! We will be back!

Travel back in time as you walk through this cute decorative candy store. It has hello kitty, red power ranger, retro arcade station on display!! Some of the items available for purchase include peanut butter soda, ridiculous amount of candies that take you back to the good old days (80-90s era) and much more. Very friendly customer service, comes to greet you at the door and make sure you're taken care of. Will definitely return again for some candy shopping :)

This is a must if you're in the SLO area and want something sweet! They have got to have almost every American candy ever thought of and sold! You can also find some European and Asian candies as well along with different variety's of cold soda next to some Power Rangers. As soon as you step inside you will find yourself immersed in the candy world. You will also find Mike Wazowski, James P. Sullivan, Lisa Simpson, and even a gremlin or two lurking about. We found their "movie" section candies and bought the dark peanut butter cups and something made in Europe akin to oreos. The cups were super delicious and the oreo's were great as well. An even sweeter deal is if you check in! The staff is very nice and super helpful - let them know what you're looking for and they will help you find it. This store isn't the cheapest, but I understand because of the area they are in.

Visually this is a very cool store. They have so many cool things but unfortunately everything is way overpriced. The staff is very nice and helpful. It's not their fault that the merchandise is marked up so steep. One example is of a Funko Pop (Hogwarts Express Carriage with Ron Weasley) valued at $19 but sold in this store for $46.99. Second was a Harry Potter Cauldron Mug priced at $36.99 but available on Amazon for only $16.00 They carry a wide variety of soda pop bottles and candy. The place is definitely worth the window shopping experience but do your research before you overpay.

A walk back through time and a global trot across candy and confectionery delights. Love this place. I believe the word is kitsch. And do they bring it!

There's soooooooooo many different selections of candy, soda, chocolate that I'm just going to show in pics instead of attempting to list them. There were a lot of candies and chocolate that I've never seen before!!! I love finding new candies :) Service here is great and everyone here seems very knowledgable! Too bad this place is Sooo very far away from where I live (mini vaca) or I seriously would be here all the time lol

My only negative is that they don't have samples. They have everything here. SO many old school things. Looks like new sellers are these yucky sodas. Dirt, grass, popped pimple. Weird. They say the Ranch makes people sick the most. All of them sound gross. They have a ton of them too. Licorices, gums, an array of Toblerone, regular candy that you find in the candy aisle, but gourmet chocolate also. Root beers, Lots of choices. The kid who was early 20's or 19's was cool and helpful. Great seller too. Had a cap on backwards. I think this is a must if you are in town. It is just incredible. Wacky Wafers, Quench Gum, Candy Cigarettes, I mean old school candy. I know those even older than me are thinking that is not old school, I am sure there is even the generation before me's favorites too. It is not cheap. Oh they even had Japanese rice candies. Very cool.

Huge candy store with various classic candies and ones that are a little unusual. They also have decent selection of craft sodas. Check out the art work on the walls and within the store. Located right on the corner.

    My old favorites !!!!

Bought one of the triple berry pies and apple crisps to try and they were delicious! The filling for the berry pie was really good slightly tart and sweet. If you like pie crust, the crust was well done too- flaky and crisp. The apple crisp was soooo good- the topping was really tasty and the filling was delicious. I'd go back to try their other pies and hand pies. Feeding the sheep, cow, goats and llamas $3 a head lettuce was so fun! The animals loooove eating the lettuce and it's an enjoyable experience for kids and adults alike. The fields with bales of hay to climb and pose on and also the flower fields to walk around in was also nice too! There was a hay ride, but we were not able to make it-- maybe next time. The food was just mediocre. The pulled pork sandwich had too much sauce on it and it was hard to eat because the bread just fell apart. I wish there were a little more coleslaw on top because it cut the sweetness of the sauce. Would not order again. The tritip sandwich was just okay- lots of thinly sliced meat, but flavor was just alright. Would not order again. The plain hotdog was actually pretty good- it was a big hotdog. Would probably order again for my kid haha. The highlight of the meal was the Brussels sprouts (no pecans and subbed Parmesan for the bleu cheese)! Nicely roasted and seasoned. Definitely would order again! The strawberry lemonade and the oallaberry lemonade were really good- not too sweet and very fruity. Definitely would order again Would definitely come back to spend a couple of hours here!
