Their coffee is delicious (I got an iced tiramisu latte) and the service is very efficient. There are other creative flavors on the menu as well! A few things to note: this is not a sit down place, it's TINY. No tables or chairs, so best if you're grabbing a coffee to go. I've been trying my best to support local cafes this year and Slow Coffee has made it easy. They are in a great location with lots of street parking nearby. I've tried a couple different lattes and the Pandan coconut latte is one of my favorites! They have much more unique flavors than the nearby cafes and it's always delicious. I was recommended this small cafe on TikTok for their tiramisu lattes (which those who know me know that I have an obsession with Tiramisu lattes). I ended up grabbing two lattes this morning and enjoying the winter ambiance of Weymouth. This cafe is located right next to a cinema, down the street from South Shore Hospital. For those who like to work from their laptop at cafes, this location is not a cafe where you can work from. This small storefront has very good latte, tea, and coffee options as well as a few food options such as breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and chaffles. For those who have celiac disease (like myself), this cafe does not have any gluten-free options - but don't let that stop you from trying one of their lattes or drink options. This morning I tried a tiramisu latte and a peanut butter latte. The tiramisu latte was very good and had a good balance of coffee and the flavoring. I would rate this latte an 8.5 out of 10 based on the appearance, flavor, and size. Regarding Tiramisu lattes, it was one of the better ones that I've tried. The peanut butter latte was also pretty good; however, I feel it could've had a little more coffee or peanut butter flavor. AMAZING teeny tiny coffee shop nestled right next to the weymouth theatre - come here for DELICIOUS coffee! do not miss this spot as this is a real gem. it is on very few occasions that i have a latte so delectable that i am looking at the ice cubes half debating on sucking on them just to get more of that flavor on my tongue. that's how i felt about the peanut butter latte, while at $7, is worth every penny. smooth, perfectly brewed broadsheet coffee layered with peanut butter and a delicious foam on top with some peanut butter powder. just WOW! bacon & cheese croffle was housed within seconds of opening up the container. the croffle itself had a chewy texture and was slightly sweet. i wish the choice of cheese was a little sharper but that is being nitpicky as it was very good. the apple latte was nice - not overpowering (like the starbucks version) but rather reminiscent of fried apples and sleepy fall mornings. surprisingly delicious. not a lot of standing room - this is not a sit down cafe. lots of customers were coming in to grab mobile orders, which is probably the best way to avoid getting crowded in like a sardine can. i hope to come back soon!! read more

Slow coffee is a great little mom and pop shop in the suburbs of weymouth. Street parking is limited but usually it's not too hard to park. When you order coffee, be ready to wait. It certainly lives up to its name "SLOW" coffee...but it's sooo worth it. Order ahead if you're in a rush..but even with ordering ahead, be prepared to wait a few minutes at least. All drinks come in a standard size (think grande starbucks cup) but some specialty drinks come slightly bigger. Tiramisu and peanut butter lattes have been my favorites so far. Pandan Coconut and Black Sesame are well worth trying too. It is very milky! If you like a stronger coffee flavor, add another shot of espresso. I will take slow service when the coffee is well crafted and has unique flavors over any cookie cutter place any day! They also sell croffles on weekends...and yes, always get croffle if available. It's crispy, soft, flaky, and just a tad sweet. With a sip of strong coffee, the combination is to die for. Staff is made of 2-3 regular baristas. They're super nice and friendly. Overall, 4 stars. 1 star knocked purely due to wait time (operational efficency) and difficulty of parking. read more

Yup, I wanted to taste a croffle so badly that I exerted the effort to make croissant dough, just so I could cook a batch in my dinky waffle maker. I'll tell you, it was worth it. When I heard there was a croffle sighting a reasonable drive away, I made plans to pay Slow Coffee in Weymouth a visit the very next weekend. That's cause their croffles are only available on weekends. I arrived with about a half hour to spare, and they were down to their last 4 croffles. l went savory: bacon & cheese, Mexican Street corn, for $6.75 apiece. The bacon one got the heat treatment in a toaster oven type gizmo, while the Street corn had fire breathed on it with a torch. I grabbed some napkins and asked for some plastic utensils and headed off, though they had some cushions set on their built in bench lining the windows. I took a bite of each while they were fresh. Tasty, but the croissants themselves weren't particularly warm. Toasted up at home, the experience was much improved. I'm not sure, but I wonder if theirs were fully cooked croissants that were then given the waffle press treatment. They were hefty and a bit dense, but a nice treat. read more

That pause was welcome on the cold rainy day that I entered the shop. We had a Croffle topped with a generous amount of blueberries and lemon cream, a sesame latte and a fresh bagel with housemade whipped blueberry cream cheese. What's a Croffle? Now I know that it is the buttery goodness of a croissant pressed into waffle form. I have my eye on the bacon and cheese topping for next time. They come out with new flavors every couple of months and it's always amazing. I order online and drive 20 minutes from Quincy for this! My go-to is the Tiramisu iced latte, one of their signature drinks, with my runner up being the Black Sesame iced latte. The Apple Butter iced latte was alright, but I wasn't a big fan. Their drinks are good quality and very smooth. The only downside is that their cute cups can spill sometimes if you hold it the wrong way and it is pricey, but the prices are equivalent to Starbucks. read more

I had a dissappointing first experience at Slow Coffee a while back but decided to give them a second chance since I was in the area. I ordered a hot Americano with a splash of milk. Any true coffee place worth a damn should be able to roast a flavorful espresso and deliver the basics. Five dollars later, I was sipping what seemed like bitter toilet water and grimacing. Each sip was worse than the last. It had no body, richness or flavor, just overwhelming watered down acidity. You can find better free coffee in any curch basement or truck stop. I waked back and told them it was too watery and the guy offered to add more milk. I told him that it was not strong enough and he seemed puzzled. I asked for a regular cup of black coffee instead. He barely had enough brewed to fill up the cup. He said he would have to brew another pot if I wanted a full cup. This was my first time at a coffee shop that was illequipt to serve a hot cup of coffee. I wasn't about to wait around so left with my half cup of black. It tasted even worse than the Americano, very weak and bitter. I tossed it right in the garbage and went home to brew my Trader Joes Dark Roast. If you enjoy frozen sugary fru-fru "coffees" maybe this place is your jam, however, if you just want a flavorful roast or classic drink, keep it moving. read more

I came in on a Sunday morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich and a cold brew coffee. Both were excellent! One of the BEST breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time. Slow coffee has been such an amazing addition to columbian square. All of my friends are absolutely in love with the drinks they have! The tiramusu latte is one good one, and most notable for me is the iced chai latte. I love a good chai and this is by far the best one i have ever had. Everywhere i go now I compare it to slow coffees. They brew each drink individually in the moment so that you are getting the freshest experience. The food is also SO GOOD. They only have a handful of items but the ham and cheese bagel sandwich is full of flavor! There is also something about the way they bake the bagels, so when you bit into their sandwiches its light and fluffy instead of tough and chewy. They also have croffles(croissant waffles) on the weekends, my favorite is the peanut butter one. read more

We stopped in on whim and we were not disappointed! The staff was nice and helpful! We were able to get a parking spot on the street right out front. The coffee shop is small inside but there are benches to sit outside just a few steps away. We ordered the iced tiramisu latte, a caramel iced coffee, blueberry bagel & the strawberry lemon croffle.
