What a fun spot! I was hit by a wave of sweetness as soon as I walked in, and the entire place was blinding bright pink. Straight up girly pop energy, love it. Employees are super sweet. The coffee menu is extensive with so many flavorings to choose from. The specialty coffee beans are infused with the flavors so they aren't syrupy, and remind me of Dunkin flavor shots. I also picked up a muffin, which seemed to be coffee chocolate chip? It wasn't the best- the top wasn't crispy and there were only chocolate chips on the top rather than mixed in, but it satisfied the sugar craving. Im not sure where they source their muffins from but I doubt they're made in house. Would be a go-to if I was a local! read more

I would give 0 stars but thats not possible so i gave it a ONE. I used to come to this Marylous every single day with my family and friends. But ever since we had the most terrible experience ever with a girl named Morgan. Every other Marylous employee i have encountered with i had a pleasant experience except Morgan and her friend that was also a barista. I'm on the road 10 or so hours a day for work and it's nice to go to a coffee place for consistently good drinks. I don't get to go to this location a lot but when I do I always have the best time. I just left with a large fresh iced coffee, and had the best interaction with Nic. My coffee was made quickly and correctly and we shared a great laugh like we've known each other our entire lives. What a gem. The whole staff is lovely, the bathroom is clean, and I'm back on the road and happy. Thanks y'all! read more

The home of flavored coffee and in my view that's the problem. I love coffee and it's so good it doesn't needed anything added.. Hazelnut tasted like dirty socks . There are clearly people who like it but like a larger local DD it's not my thing . They also sell fairly uninspiring baked goods like 7-11. They are endemic to the South Shore . read more

I love coffee. A delicious, hot cup of coffee can turn a crap day into something special pretty quickly. I don't like fancy coffee drinks filled with sugar and syrup, but I DO like flavored coffees. Marylou's does flavored coffee really well. Much better than any of their competitors. They identified their niche and really work it. They have so many great flavors in both hot and iced, it is almost impossible to make a decision! I usually end up with something coconut, or hazelnut, or almond or.... Prices are really comparable and their K-cups are better than you might expect! I wish I lived closer to a Marylou's. Right now, they are a special occasion stop when visiting relatives in the area. This is my second visit to the Boston metro area, and each time I've been very impressed with Marylou's. I've gone to several stores in the region, the latest being this one in Weymouth. This has to be the cutest location. It reminds me of a gingerbread house. Located on hectic route 18 near South Shore Hospital this is busy location. You are always waited on in a speedy fashion. My coffee was just okkk yesterday. Each girl there has her own way of making the coffee. There is a lot of seating at this location compared to others. There is no drive-thru, but I think traffic would be beyond bananas if there was. If you're a single guy def check out Marylou's they always have gorgeous girls behind the counter lol! read more

How did I go 18 years living in New England never knowing about Marylou's?? There really is such a divide between the North Shore and South Shore...sigh...well, at least in this case, it's just a coffee divide. I for one am bridging that divide by telling all my North Shore cronies: Marylou's is delicious!! I know, I know, we all love our D&Ds, but there are a few reasons Marylou's is better. One: it's a mom and pop--support it! It has all the charm and quirkiness for which one could ask. Pink walls? Check. Cute girls working the counter? Double check. Location in the middle of an almost too dangerous intersection? Triple check! Two: holy crap this is delicious coffee! Whether it is regular, flavored, or super flavored with whipped cream, sprinkles, and whatever other crazy topping you want with your coffee drink, you cannot go wrong. Marylou's is a terrific place to visit all year round, although if you want a crazy-refreshing-thousand-calorie-blast on a hot July morning, summer is the best time :) read more

The first time I went to Marylou's, I (mistakenly) ordered french vanilla iced coffee with milk. It was crap. If you like plain-ish iced coffee, do not come here. The coffee is pretty weak and certainly subpar to Starbucks up the road. After further coaxing by a coworker, I decided to come back for round two. And I am so glad I did. I ordered the Peanut Butter Wonderful, and it was the closest thing to an orgasmic experience coffee has ever given me. Marylou (or whoever owns this chain) has mastered the art of mixing flavored coffees to taste just like candy. It was so good I got another one the next day... Best of all, the prices are pretty reasonable, there are a ton of different flavors (which I need to get around to trying). I'm only working for five more weeks on the South Shore, and I will certainly be going through withdrawals when I leave. read more

I've lived in the area for several years now, and I have just recently become a regular at this location. I left the other competitor simply because my coffee was always made wrong; so I thought to myself - let me check what the hype is all about. Now I know! Although the coffee is a bit light for my taste - a shot of espresso can quickly fix that up. The girls at this location are extremely friendly - except for maybe one or two (but they are rarely there). No matter how you order your coffee, it is always done right the first time. Pastries and bagels are always stocked and always available. Lines can sometimes be long - but shortened with a quickness. So far ... I'd say my choice to explore ... has paid off. I used to come here often when I was in town a lot but not anymore. This was probably 4-6 years ago so obviously the staff has changed, and with that the coffee making skills, or lack of, has also changed. Stopped in this afternoon and ordered a raspberry mocha blast. The girl who waited on me wasn't pleasant at all. When she made the drink she shoved it towards me on the counter. Ummm ok. The lid was covered with coffee too. I have a new car with tan interior...so there was no way I was taking that in my car without cleaning it. The thing is SHE should have wiped it clean like all other locations I've been to do. The coffee was gross to. Like adding insult to injury. It was super bitter yet flavorless. A few sips and I was done. Parking is still a mess here. If you want good coffee, go up the street a few miles to the Abington location. They're way nicer and make better stuff. read more

i was very upset today when me and my friends came in and got partial food poisoning from your milk. the milk was luke warm and hadn't been in the fridge in over about 6 hours. and the milk had left a sour taste in our mouth which means it is expired. we had told you about the problem and you made us a new one but it was even worse in sourness than the first, you need to throw out all the milk and wash all the machines. my friends and i are now suffering from constant diarrhea and nausea please address the problem with your manager thank you read more

Marylou's has the best flavored coffee! Found this location when our GPS took us on a detour. Perfect! I've been dying for the Funny Bone iced coffee. It's sweet already so no need for sugar. The coffee is great and they are very accommodating. I found out about MaryLou's while traveling to Sciuate in the summer to visit my family's private neighborhood beach. Being a coffee lover, I was ecstatic about so many great coffee choices! None of the other coffee places can brag that they have Peanut Butter Wonderful, Milky Way, Snickerdoodle, Girl Scout Mint, to name a few.. I've been to several locations, but I drive out of my way to visit this store, because for whatever reason, the girls at this location are the only ones who can make my iced coffee the way I like it....nearly EVERY time! I've been here hundreds of times and have probably had less than a handful of iced coffees that weren't made quite the way I like it. It's a very rare occurrence. The only negative, is that the parking lot can get a little hairy on Sunday mornings. A little tough to get in and out, when the lot is full, but not enough of a hassle to keep me away! read more
