Whoever was working the register on Mother's day 2026 at 1:45pm needs to be fired. She walked away from the register 10 minutes at a time to go talk to her coworkers with a line to the door and got my order wrong when I said 3 times ICED it ended up being hot on a 75 degree day and after waiting half an hour I wasn't standing around waiting for a new one to be remade. It's finally re-opened after a fresh remodel of a formerly tired-looking store. What can I say? Uhhh, ok, I guess I can find a few words . . . The remodel is aesthetically nice, following Starbucks recent trend towards Scandi design. Lots of light, white and wood. The remodel is awkward, putting the mobile pickup at the counter right inside the entry door. Perfect, so everyone can bunch up like sheep while waiting for an order. Maybe move the herd back to the other end of the counter, Starbucks, like your store at the Hingham Shipyard? The attractive remodel/expansion is what gives this two stars, because one thing they just couldn't get different - make the drink the way it's supposed to be made! Honestly it will be what drives me away from Starbucks permanently, not just temporarily. If I'm going to pay this much $$$ for an iced coffee then please, use the recipe that comes with the store! Oh, and the outside patio was expanded too, with more seating provided out there. The worst Starbucks I have ever been to. There are only 4 small tables, and the service took forever for a coffee and a bagel (20-25 mins) on a Friday morning at 10:45 am. Don't bother coming here if you plan to sit down. Also, make sure you allow ample time because the baristas love to have long conversations with their friends/regulars. Staff are nice, thats about it because the drinks are not made consistently the same. I order my usual the same way every morning and they make it different every time i go in. Then when I show them my order and how its made they tell me its me how i ordered it. Correct i ordered it I know exactly how i ordered, and whats worst I watched them make the same drink 3 times in a row wrong before they finally make the correct one because I showed them how i wanted it done as i ordered it. They finally pay attention to a Very simple order not complex. Not sure why each barista have their own way of making drinks a and a standard operating procedure. It's so unfortunate. This Starbucks location had gone downhill. The wait is 20+ minutes minimum daily, mobile order ahead is unavailable more often than it is available. None of the popular flavors are ever in stock and if they are, they are no longer available less than two hours after the doors have opened. I have NO idea what has happened to this specific establishment over the years but there is a whole new crew working there and it just is NOT working. Stacks and stacks of boxes and supplies out on the main floor all the time. It use to be a really enjoyable place to go to. Unfortunately, it's just a total disaster. For as long as my wife and I have been going to the Starbucks in Weymouth, MA, the most recent visit was an unfortunate disappointment. It's not entirely this location's fault and more of a company-wide problem I've not caring about their customers, but the fact that they wouldn't honor the free drink for her birthday, only because it was the day before, it completely ridiculous and not a way to treat the people loyal to your location. I imagine that we'll start spending our money at a different location as soon as a more convenient one becomes available. read more

Conveniently located just before South Shore Hospital in Weymouth in the plaza with the Whole Foods, I love this location! Aside from the drinks and food, it's the customer service that really speaks volumes. They're efficient, helpful and when it's not super busy, sometimes they'll bring your food to you! read more

Well first, I ordered a Venti Iced Caramel Machiatto, it was amazing, but looked different from the CT, one, but it tasted the same. The service was amazing! The ambiance, I was going to walk into the door, but this nice lady let me go, then in line she let my go in front of her, Weymouth Starbucks Coffee is amazing. Easily one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I no longer visit this location as it is a waste of time. A simple iced americano on a weekday morning can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes... yes you read that correct. The orders here are frequently incorrect and completely backed up. The staff is chronically overwhelmed as it appears there is some kind of incentive to not schedule adequately during peak hours, run by poor management. This location is simply still in operation based on the reputation of the "Starbucks" name. The floorpan of this location is also poorly planned and not well thought out add to mass confusion on a daily basis. read more

This store can be a bit busy at times and parking tends to be full here and there, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. I walked in and the store is clean despite the amount of all the other customers in there. I think it's hilarious it's considered $$! What is it being compared to coffee at the Ritz? Unfortunately the service is subpar not looking to really complain and will not mean anything that's for sure seeing I waited over 20 minutes for a ice coffee. Literally takes less than 10 seconds grab the cup pour the coffee add the ice put the cap on. They spend more time worrying about what name to type in for the order. I strongly suggest an express line for people such as myself that order just regular coffee. read more

Consistently get orders wrong and when you bring it up to the employees they give you attitude and blame you for the error. Always out of products as well. This is one of the larger Starbucks in the area, but it's a total pain in the ass to get in and out of here especially now with the new Whole Foods nextdoor. At any rate, I've never really had any issues with drinks made incorrectly or surly staff. For as large as a physical space available, it seems like there is a lot of "empty" space. I go to this Starbucks almost every day, and I've never had a bad experience. This morning I came in with my one year old to get my moms coffee and my order. My mom had given me her "this one's on us" card to put toward her coffee. The card was for 4$. The girl who was checking me out at the register needed help so someone by the name of Em came over to help. I nicely just said that it was a "free drink card" and she proceeded to correct me by saying "no it's just 4$ off". She then did a discount towards my order, only discounting my 3.25 after bluntly and rudely telling me it was 4$ off. I asked why she didn't give me the 4$ off and she responds "it's only a 75 cent difference" with attitude. I just don't understand why she would tell me one thing then discount another. She was very rude then smirkingly said "have a nice day" as I left. She was rude from the beginning and I don't know why she didn't give me my full discount. I haven't seen her there before and I didn't appreciate it coming from a customer that's been going there for years. read more

I do not know if this was a mistake or on purpose, but I visited here twice and got wrong order both times. First the coffee was too bland I can barely taste or smell the flavor. This time I ordered mocha and got latte with a lot of carmel syrup. Are they doing this on purpose because I'm Asian? So I went in there and said "I think I got the wrong order" and the woman who took my order said "oh yeah this is not mocha" and that was it. No apology.
