My boyfriend always gets a matcha latte, and he ranks it among the top 3 in Eugene. Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.

At first when I asked that the bag of beans be ground to do pour over I was looked at rather strangeley. So I said where I bought it before it was a number 6 grind. She nodded I thought she understood. This morning I made my pour over coffee but sad to say the grind was larger then the bag of drip roast my daughter purchases.
