Yes I got the ride I wanted at a good rate. Yes my salesman made the sale effortless... Thats where my happy feeling ended. My van was NOT detailed before we took it off the lot. There were plastic films left all over the van on the seat bases, under the console, windshield wasn't even cleaned and upon removal of the seat plastic baggings they cut my seat cover (cloth material). We brought this to their attention the next day or two as it was dark when we took possesion of the van. We were given the attention we deserved and were promised after the holidays it would be corrected. January 11th rolled around and we made the call again.. no response back. The 13th I called myself, too late, so I left another message. I threatened bad reviews (online) , got a call first thing next morning. "yes sir, have your wife bring it in we're gonna take care of it". When my wife called them back to arrange it the operator answered and put my wife on hold while she checked on the part order... BACKORDERED! "I'm sorry miss but your parts on backorder, it could be months. It would be pointless for you to bring it in now". I had just talked to the service guy!! Long story.. I tell my wife "whatever". Next day the salesman calls wondering why we didn't bring in the van!? He reports to me they're going to get a seat from a new van and swap them because it's not fair that we have to deal with this. I couldn't agree more.. Now my wife is upset with me because I have to interrupt her sleep schedule (night shifts suck). We get a loaner, and I'm very thankful this wrong will be righted. Next day I go to get my van back... UGH! Seat was fixed, no suction cup marks on windshield from installation, but why was my van not detailed? They washed it... No new car smell? One of the best things about a new car is that smell!! Films still cover the bases of the seats they didn't see from an obvious lack of looking. All I did to see it was lift the rear seat to get my kids buckeled up. I couldn't buckle because there's film on the buckle too!! My center seat in the middle now is also marked up. I said nothing for fear of blowing my top because they waisted my time again as if 4 kids and an adult rotation for our kids isn't time consuming enough. And my cup holders were... I don't know what was in them but I know the detail shop didn't detail the inside. This is a true testimony from an actual consumer, ME!! In closing I would narrowly recommend you to purchase here as it all went so smooth to that point.. But take care of your own car and don't let those knuckleheads touch it! I got pre-approved for an auto loan at this dealership and decided to check out the vehicles online. I was contacted by Jeff Markle soon after. We spoke about the vehicle that I was interested in. He said he would have it ready for when I came in on Saturday. I drove an hour to get there and after waiting about 15 min, I was told the vehicle was sold. *RED FLAG* Then, Jeff suggested another vehicle that was a few thousand more than the one I initially was coming to see. *RED FLAG* He said that I would get a better rate on a newer vehicle with less miles. Fast fwd to after the test drive, he said there were issues with my income. Then, he claimed that there were issues with the credit company who pre-approved me. If I got the pre-approval just a few days before & nothing had changed in the last few weeks, why would there be a problem putting it through??? After spending 2.5 hrs there, I was told that he probably wouldn't hear anything back until Monday. I did not hear from Jeff Markle on Monday, so I called around 1pm and left a message on his voicemail. By 5:10pm, I still did not get a call from Jeff Markle, so I called again & got his vm. It is now Tuesday 8:01 pm and guess what... Jeff Markle still has not called me! Not to follow up, return my call or tell me anything. It was a waste of my morning & afternoon, a long wasted drive & 2 wasted hits on my credit report!!! I will tell every single person I can about how Jeff Markle at Smail Kia treated me!!! read more

For the last few years we have always went thru Smail Auto Group for service on both our Ford Explore and Kia Sorento. Until lately there was never any issues. However, on September 9th our Sorento was serviced using a coupon from Kia for a $14.95 oil change. To this day, almost one month later and three telephone conversations with Jason promising that the check would be mailed, we continue to wait for a refund ($49.95 per Jason). My husband stopped today and waited another 45 minutes for the "check to be signed by Jeff" but he then unfortunately had to step out and thus we continue to wait. Maybe he'll have better luck tomorrow! Perhaps this will be the last time we recommend or seek service thru Smail Kia. At least Smail Ford had never given us such headaches! read more
