My 6 yo daughter who has been afraid of dunking her head in, getting water in her eyes etc is now swimming and it's only been a few of weeks! We had someone come to the house last year and it made barely a difference. We saw differences in just a couple of sessions. We do 2 sessions a week, 3-4 days apart. Very nice facility. They have a lot of instructors and the training is very personalized. The pool is indoors which is great because rain or shine you can still have your lessons and not to mention it keeps the kids out of the sun. There's a viewing area for the parents and you can even reserve the whole area for parties if you want. Prices are fairly reasonable in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this place. I really like this school. It is big and weekends are packed yet I do attend during the week mostly. We started with free classes but really like Nabby for our Coach. This school feels like a family. We did check out two other schools and they were rather...boring. Skills were not developed even half as quickly throughout the class. We travel far (from Delray) but it's worth it. There are all types of events like parents night out and holiday fun. Pros: Coaches Songs to keep swimming fun and fills gaps so class is always entertaining! Heated pool Lots of room to change Showers for rinsing "Diaper Shark" Large pool Friendly front desk Safety-focused ("safety zone") Lots of learning tools ("motor boats", school buses) Cons: Only one facility (wish there was a location closer to southern PB) No Friday Classes High chlorine (rather than UV or salt) Again we love this place! read more

My daughter has only attended the school 4 sessions. She enjoys each class but yesterday Lucas did an amazing job with my daughter's training. Not only was he attentive, he was also funny and patient. The initial class started at 7:10 so they were running a little behind. At 7:30, Lucas was instructed by a Supervisor to finish his lesson but he was trying to give students their full 30 minutes. Thank you Lucas. Look I am native Philadelphian which I had no access to a pool at al growing up. Now that I live in South Florida I understand the need for me and family to learn to swim. When my young nephews and nieces come to visit Uncle Shawn this is where I will take them. The facility is well run and immaculately clean. I found the the staff and owners who actually work ion site to be friendly and professional. The instructors seem to really enjoy what they do and the kids respond in kind. They don't want to leave when the lessons are done. Some places the kids are running for door when lesson time is over. I as an adult have had help from the owner and I am now a triathlete that could not swim a lap let alone a mile not too long ago. Spring break is coming soon enough and I will taking the my mini gang up there all the way from South Beach it's worth the drive. Also as an adult and you want some swim tips ask for Kurt the owner. I started taking my kids to this swim school since they opened their doors. The owners are really nice and friendly and all of the staff really try to learn every child's name and what type of teaching style or teacher will work best with that child. They try their best to work around your schedule. The pool is nice and warm, which is great for me (i hate cold pools) when doing the mommy and me classes, but my son (who was on the "swim team") didn't care for it to much, saying it was to warm. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think that the school has outgrown their current facility. Also, their swim team isn't much of a swim team, the pool is to small for the kids to get a adequete idea of swimming in a full size pool and they have yet to compete (as far as I know). Will I go back, yes...in fact i am getting ready to sign-up again soon! read more

We absolutely adore small fish big fish! I have 4 children 4 and under and they all love going every single week! All the coaches have such a great way to make the lessons fun AND effective! We went swimming in our community pool last week as a family and I am blown away how far they have come in such a short time! My son has been going to swim class for the last few months, he is doing great and we love it. I do wish the instructors were a little more aggressive with the strong children in the class to excel but i do understand when there is three toddlers in the same 30 minute class it maybe a tad difficult to do so. The entire staff is amazing and has a lot of patience for the children. The weekends are the busiest days so i don't recommend going those days if you could avoid it. I'm so glad I found Small Fish Big Fish! My daughter is autistic and drawn to water, so I worry as she has poor safety awareness. The entire staff is wonderful and they have done a fantastic job with my daughter, taking time to ensure she would be comfortable in the water and with them. In three months she was attending group lessons and now continues to do well and make strides often. The staff truly care for the comfort and wellbeing of the kids, even going as far as to suggest different class times if they feel the child would do better in a different time slot. A great swim school. The school is clean, the instructors are awesome, and the owners are hands on. My daughter was a member of their swim team for over a year and learned SO much. She is now enrolled in a competitive team and the knowledge that she learned was outstanding from the dedicated owners and staff.
