They have a menu and anything I've sampled here is terrific. Patio, great. Dog friendly which I adore. Service can be hit or miss. Parking. 0 issues, huge lot and is nestled into a plaza with other great stores. I wish they had more fruit beer or sours but no matter what, I pick up a 4 pack every couple of months for visitors. I don't love beer but there are other options on site, like wine. If I sample a new beer on tap when they are not busy, I always tip. The to-go beer to buy is easy and right in the cooler as you walk in. Staff will grab what you need!

That sample would have been free anyways! LOL! Anyways, the inside bar area was nice enough. The outer area was just OK. I mean, you face a very busy street and all is concrete. Some picnic tables. 2 food trucks were out there that I have yet to try but they were closed for the night. The Beer Co. is very unassuming from the outside. This outlet is more casual and way smaller than the Big Rig on Iris, but we are very glad to have small businesses join us in the west end of Ottawa. We enjoyed our brief visit to this outlet, ordering sandwiches to eat on the patio. They were good. The shop is small, and I imagine that during non-COVID times, they would offer a small seating area with a few tables (the space would not hold more than a few tables). We will have to try this place again, in less uncertain times.

Our server Lisa, was amazing and very attentive. We were lucky enough that it was a beautiful, sunny day and we sat out on the patio. The menu was interesting with a lot of choice and the drink specials were on until 2pm. I had my first Caesar in years. It was ok, a bit weak. I am very detail oriented and would have liked more garnish. We got a croissant sandwich, fries, zucchini sticks, a wrap... no complaints about the food at all.
