Sorry folks. Great reviews but this place is a rip off and you all probably were not aware of it. First, they charge a higher price than what is posted on their blackboard. The answer I got was that the balckboard did not have update prices. Second, they charge up to an additional 25% for paying by CC. Ordered a Machiato and the price listed is $3.64 and ended up being charged $4.55. When I said I pay cash, the price dropped to $3.89. Think about how many of us have not made the math and ended up paying so much more. This is shameful! read more

Here is an update: We visited recently, and our experience was much better this time. During our first visit, we encountered some issues and were offered a refund via email, but I didn't respond to that offer. For this recent visit, the service at the bar was excellent, and it was a different staff than before. The food and coffee were both good as well. Temp inside could be cooler. read more

I think this location is OK, but we felt a little bit misled. It has a lot of locals love it, but the coffee is just OK. They don't have a lot of options. It's hot as crap in there in the winter. There were a lot of homeless people on the outside I wasn't fully excited or felt safe. read more

Very cute local coffee shop in the middle of main street Rutherfordton. I got their BluMonkey specialty cold brew. It was fantastic; smooth and full of flavor. I love that they use huge ice cubes that take a long time to melt. My partner got the cappuccino and said that the milk to coffee ratio for their cappuccino was perfect and the coffee was very flavorful to other coffee options in the area. Just happen to go by and see this quaint place off the main road. A cute locals coffee shop that roasts their own coffee beans. We decided to stop in and get a coffee. The coffee we tried was a dark roast and had a very good flavor. Being big coffee drinkers we love stronger coffee that tastes like coffee. The employee named Virginia was friendly and personable perfect for this business! She is a asset for working here. Talks to all her customers when they come in. She explained to us about the coffee and how it is roasted there and is fresh. Great conversation with her and customers that came in. We did not know they were here, glad we found this place. Open till 4 and she said the hours may change to later soon. If your close by and love coffee its a must try! They have outside seating on the patio as well as inside. They also sell the bags of coffee and will grind for you as well. We will stop back again sometime for sure!! read more

I am blown away to find this incredible gem just moments off the main drag, tucked off to the side, cuddled up in my parking spot to walk into the incredible aromas of roasting coffee and an earl gray chocolate cake with lavender icing. Stopped by for the first time the other day and totally loved it! Cute place and I love the artsy vibe! Was greeted by this really nice dude who had some great suggestions and some genuine conversation. I tried a cold brew hat had mocha and blueberry flavor, it was super good! The coffee was ground fresh and the cold brew didn't taste acidic at all, which I was happy about. They don't open until 7:30 which is a bit of a bummer for me, wish they opened just a little bit earlier at 7:00. But the timing will prevent me from being a regular, totally wish I could though, because y'all had me sold! read more

So happy they have a kiosk now at the hospital! It's in the outpatient area and the quality is equal to the home base on court street.
