Cute Colombian coffee shop with GREAT food. I feel like a lot of the coffee shops I have tried in Greenville have had ehh food. NOT HERE. I would go solely for the food here. I actually haven't tried their coffee as we just stopped in for a bite to eat. I can't wait to go back. We had their mouthwatering sandwich called "The Curator", which is made with Pandebono (Colombian Cheese bread), cheddar cheese, egg, chorizo, spinach, and hot sauce. I LOVED this and can't wait to have it again. I'm so sad though because honestly their whole menu looks epic that it is going to be a struggle deciding what to have haha. 100/100 recommend this place! read more

The rich heritage you feel from this this Columbian Coffee shop is spectacular. The Pan de bono Waffle is extremely thought-out and has perfect texture. The Cinnamon roll latte and Plume tea provide a well adjusted flavor to your experience. Must try! This is my second visit to the establishment in three days. What's not to love? Outstanding food, friendly service, chill atmosphere. On my first visit I had the curator on the Colombian cheese bread. Super yummy. My husband had the avocado toast and I have to say I was jealous. So today, we both got the avocado toast and it was delicious! No skimping on the avocado like many other places. Perfectly cooked egg. All atop some delicious homemade bread. Excellent! Both visits we had the guava delight. Ladies and gents, that is something special. Very hearty and completely satisfying. Coffee was better my second visit, not that it was bad the first visit but I did feel it was light on the syrup the first go around. GVL don't sleep on this coffee shop. It's awesome! read more

Unlocked coffee is amazing. I have purchased their decaf coffee beans many times and decided to try their cafe. I had the seasonal graham cracker. The honey was slightly overpowering but still good. We also tried the cinnamon roll latte. It had great flavor and really accentuated the coffee flavor. The inside of the coffee shop was extremely spacious. I have been here multiple times to do homework, despite a bit of a drive. It is an optimal location because of easy parking. Their lattes are so rich and delicious, and a selection of their syrups are made in house! I have never struggled to find seating. Also, cannot say enough good things about their beans for sale. This was my first time here and I was absolutely delighted with my pour-over coffee. I had the darkest Brazilian option and really enjoyed it. The space is also very nice with plenty of table space. My only issue was that it took quite a bit longer than expected to receive my coffee. I felt I needed to take star off for that. read more

We learned about Unlocked since it's in a hip complex (close to junkyard fitness which is a killer workout) and were so, so impressed. This quiet coffee shop in this uniform, contemporary strip is a hidden gem of West Greenville. This place is amazing! Not only is their coffee wonderful (and you must try the Colombian cheese bread, specifically the one with guava, but their service is next level! I had ordered curbside and they weren't able to have the cheese bread ready in time so they refunded my order. About 30 minutes later the owner called me to personally apologize and offer me my same order on the house!! I so appreciated that and will definitely continue to come back! Established in 2018.

Andres Camargo and his wife Rocío Salazar are the faces behind of Unlocked Coffee Roasters, they started their business in 2018 in the International Coffee Day in Greenville, South Carolina. Born and raised in Colombia- South America, coffee is part of their cultural heritage, and of course, they are adding it to their coffee. "Our goal is to bring the best flavor and aroma of each coffee bean, giving our customers a real connection to the farmers and the origin of the coffee they are drinking. Our roastery and coffee shop are focused on specialty coffee; distributing coffee as a wholesaler and retail store. We were both born and raised in Colombia, that is why coffee is running in our veins". Andres (owner) is the roaster, coffee selection, and business development. Roci (Co-owner) is the Marketing Director.

Although it's a cavernous space, one man decided it was his office and was making a lot of sales calls, so we were treated to hearing that unless we moved to the back side of the business. Next time, we'll save a few bucks (and our sanity) and go to Starbucks across the street! We like to support local businesses, but this was abominable.

Then I sat down to do some work, one of the staff was talking so loudly and complaining about work and cursing etc... that I had to finally just get up and leave. His voice was so loud, shrill and inappropriately loud for an employee that it was hard to concentrate . He was so loud over the rest of the staff that customers around be were putting in their earphones to drown him out. Didn't seem to be a manger on site unless that was the person in charge, which would explain the lazy, uninspired vibe of the staff. At least the coffee was hot.

Not only is Unlocked Coffee always fresh and made with love, it is quality from different countries opening up our minds to vast flavors and unlocking those beautiful notes the beans have to offer. They roast and produce and serve with perfection. They are so passionate and have been wanting to open a café for awhile now, that they aim to please ever type of person's pallet and welcome all. I personally have the opportunity to work closely with Andres and Rocio and they treat everyone like family. They are givers with a talented passion for the industry. Since I have tried their many types of coffee, I now understand how important each step is in delivering the percent cup. I definitely can taste the difference in other brands.They understand the entire process of production by having an amazingly balance cup of Joe.
