Our older child started at just 20 months old, and our younger child has been attending since the age of 2. Knowing they have been surrounded by so much love and care has given us incredible peace of mind. Sondra is an exceptional owner who genuinely cares about every child and every family. Her kindness, dedication, and personal attention make this school truly special. Communication is always excellent--we are consistently kept informed, and it's clear that building strong relationships with families is one of their top priorities. Every teacher is wonderful. They are patient, caring, attentive, and create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to learn and grow. You can truly see how much they love what they do. The summer program is another highlight. They plan fun and engaging activities every single day, making each day exciting and memorable. Our kids always looked forward to going to school and came home excited to tell us about all the fun they had. We are incredibly grateful for everything this preschool has done for our family. It is rare to find a place where your children are genuinely loved and cared for as if they were part of the family. We wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their child.

They are both loving and really care about the kids and their responsibility as caretakers for our precious angels. I really appreciate the regular updates on my daughter on the ClassDojo app. My daughter loves her teachers and her classmates so much. Whenever I would drop her off or pick her up, she was happy and excited to go to school. Ms. Sondra (the director) is responsive and communicative. A few notes for other parents: They give snacks but no meals. They offer hot lunch for $6/day; They do not charge extra for diapering; Their summer school is filled with fun activities and water play once a week; They offer a fun and interactive dance class on Thursdays; Their outdoor play areas are filled with toys, bikes, playground equipment, including swings for babies and toddlers; Almost every holiday they make it special occasion for the kids and parents. My daughter is going to a dual language school next month, but we will sincerely miss Pennsylvania Ave. Montessori.

All Saints is the BEST Preschool…read more Let me first start off my sharing that my husband and I researched 20 local preschools and daycares, visited 9 in person, and All Saints stood out as the obvious choice. Staff here are caring, kind, and truly invested in helping children learn and grow. My child comes home most days with artwork & unique projects. Teachers here help tiny tots with problem solving, conflict resolution, and navigating big feelings. Again - this school was our top selection, as well as our son's pick (#1 pick for us parents due to the high emotional EQ & overall proficiency of the teachers, and our son's #1 choice probably due to the facility's sizable sandbox). All Saints has a monthly calendar with events, subject highlights, birthdays, etc. Parents pack lunches & the school provides morning & afternoon snacks. Kids get lots of outdoor play when weather permits (which is ofc most days!), weekly yoga, Circle Time, lots of independent play, with a focus on child-led learning. I could not speak higher of the staff - Ms Dana, Ms Samantha, & Ms Ellie are truly a gift. My only regret is that we didn't find this school sooner. Thank you for everything, All Saints Preschool!

I was terrified of placing my child in preschool. While I knew it was inevitable and I wanted her…read moreto learn how to interact with others at the library, I was also scared that she would feel abandoned, or that her needs wouldn't be met like I could meet them. We had this referral from our friends when Ariel was 1 and we had full-time work from home. They said "just wait until she is 2...this place is awesome and only $200 a week." Almost as soon as our daughter turned 2, we looked into it. It's a small, quaint little place full of children that remember your child's name and they're all so sweet. The women that take care of the kids are absolutely wonderful, loving, and more on the progressive side. They love when Ariel wears her RBG & Nirvana shirts. They are open to all cultures, all walks of life, and they show you how to give your child the best experience there. The establishment also has fun little newsletters & events if you care about social justice, activism, and community building in general. I had a blast with the fundraiser too. Pizza, bubbles, and a whole party! More importantly, I have seen Ariel grow so much as a human being, and she loves it. There are times where she will literally just run to the preschool and excitement for water day, or just to see her friends and go on the slide with them. She's so proud of the crafts that she does with the kids, watering the plants, and she remembers the names of the kids too. She gets invited to birthday parties, and she's so thrilled to take her lunchbox home every day. There is a sense of ownership and purpose for her that she gets to feel, just like we get when we go to work each day. This place has been a Godsend for us, this is the best place we could have for a child and at such an affordable price. We couldn't believe that this place could even exist. We do the full week price, because if we want to take her out of school - - and it's still reasonable enough to support us all for the week. When we first had Ariel, we were paying a personal friend $400 a week to watch her for 30 hours a week, and with one person it's not always reliable and sometimes she would want to take off early - understandable for one person watching one person trying to make a living. Nevertheless, our daughter didn't get to have as much contact with the regular kids each day and have interaction in the way she does now for a much cheaper price. Now we can afford more care for both kids when we need it. If you live in the Burbank, North Hollywood, or San Fernando Valley - I would highly suggest this place if your child is between 2 to 4 years of age. Our child is not even potty trained yet so we pay an extra $15 a week, but even that is next to nothing. They do also help and encourage parents with potty training too. A bunch of kids just went into kindergarten, so it's the perfect time to enroll!

Robbin's Nest Preschool has been a true lifesaver for our family!…read moreAfter a difficult experience at another school, we were referred to Robbin's Nest and immediately felt supported. It was wonderful to see the children come together like one big family--greeting each other warmly and saying goodbye as a group. We truly enjoyed all the creative art projects Ms. Emma introduced to the classroom, along with her gentle approach. There was never any pressure or hostility if a child chose not to participate in an activity, just gentle support. My son was introduced to STEM activities and did creative projects like transforming the classroom into an entire farm or a market. It was so hard to move to Pre-K, however, Ms. Veronica helped him blossom academically and socially. She is truly incredible!! We have seen our son transform and grow. He now communicates and plays well with peers. He has shown tremendous progress in academics under Ms. Veronica's guidance. She provided us with daily updates good and bad. We celebrated milestones and achievements and worked on issues together. As a parent, you're kept informed of all activities. Every month a calendar is shared marking the daily activities. In Ms. Veronica's class, each week was focused on the letter of the week and all the activities were based on the letter. This was incredibly helpful as we would continue it at home. What immediately impressed us is RN's incredible Director, Ms. Rosalie. She always has the warmest smile and knows about every single child and what occurred during the day. I'm not sure how she does it, but she stays involved and extremely supportive of all families. Her attention and compassion is what makes RN so special. On top of that, she makes the most amazing banana and zucchini bread!! It is true that they say it takes a village and RN has become our village! All the teachers at RN are incredible. They are friendly and always there to help. The kids engage in so many different activities ranging from baking to sports. In terms of details, they have a great balance of outside and inside activities. Parents can choose to pack a lunch or order from their easy menu. Parents pack a snack and I found this most helpful because I could monitor what my child ate. We are so grateful to Robbin's Nest and would recommend it 10/10 for the care, growth, and confidence it brings to children and families alike. I highly recommend to all our friends and family for the incredible experience we have had. It is really hard to move into the next chapter as we start elementary, but with the help of Ms. Veronica and Ms. Rosalie, we are ready to move forward.
