After several phone calls and facility tours, I came across a flyer for Sunshine Family Daycare and decided to call Jenny. My first conversation with her was over a month ago and I she immediately put me at ease with her calm and caring demeanor. We set up a meeting to meet one another and to tour her home, which put me further at ease. Her home is clean, spacious, and has various toys that immediately called my daughter's attention. She also has a beautify backyard with plenty of space for children to run and play. Once I decided that Jenny would be the person I would trust my daughter with, she truly helped us make this a smooth transition. She allowed my family to work on a progressive schedule over the last month and when the time came to drop my daughter off this morning, she transitioned better than I could have ever imagined. She was walking around as if she knew where things were and was completely at ease when I kissed her goodbye. I'll have to admit the transition was probably a lot harder on me that it was for her. Jenny is GREAT about listening to my concerns and does her best to reassure me. She has been EXTREMELY patient with me and beyond accommodating. She even asked me to provide her with a list of foods my daughter enjoys so that she can try to provide her with similar meals while she is in daycare. She has also done an excellent job of keeping me updated throughout the day, which continues to help me through this transition. I never imagined having to leave my daughter in the hands of a complete stranger, but dropping her off this morning felt like I was dropping my daughter off with family. She has been there since 5 months and I've never had an issue. Staff is very attentive and keeps me updated on her thru out the day and when I drop her off and pick her up. She is my 4th child to go to this center. My oldest is 18 and went there when he was 3 months until he aged out. I love the staff and the memories my babies have made. Thank you COLTON KINDERCARE! She completely understood how scary it was for me to leave my 18month old baby girl with someone I had never met before. From the second I met her she made me feel at ease with the transition and for some reason I cannot explain, I knew my baby would be in the best of hands. A couple months later we ended up moving to Corona and for 2 years we commuted to Rialto because I refused to move my babies (martha cared for my 4 year old and my 10month old by this point) to another daycare. Martha loves and cares for the children under her care as if they are her own. I never had to worry about packing lunch because Martha provides all meals she would provide breakfast the moment my daughter arrived in the morning and she've had dinner by the time I picked her up. She also provides the children with learning materials to help them develop intellectually. My daughter learned so much, so fast thanks to Martha. Martha was truly a blessing for us. We placed our daughter in AHCC at 2.5 years old and she grew exponentially in the 2 years she was with this center. In my opinion, the biggest accomplishment they help us achieve was stable potty training at such a young age. We were working on potty training and they were paramount in getting her to recognize need to go the bathroom and succeed in the task. Another aspect of AHCC that my wife and I loved was how awesome the entire staff is and how constructive they were to our daughter's growth. They were kind, caring, and respectful. They excelled in helping build personal and social relationships with my daughter and her friends. They instill in the littles everything that it means to be a good person and they give them the skills to be able to move on to the next step. They have fun water days when it's hot and also got to go on small trips such as touring the fire station next door. We wish we could have kept our daughter another year but she was approved for a dual immersion TK class in the local school district and unfortunately had to leave. We could not pass up that opportunity. Our daughter would not be ready for public school without AHCC and for that we are eternally grateful. The pricing is reasonable and the results are tremendous. We plan to continue to have a good relationship with AHCC as they have become somewhat family and plan to support them whenever we can. I can't speak highly enough of Azure Hills Children's Center and if you have any questions or concerns, they will glad-fully help in any way. The teachers here were very understanding about that fact and did everything they could to help him advance his development. It's been two years and our son is doing so much better! There's been so much improvement! He talks now, although not fluently but it's so much better than how he started off. He loves going here & enjoys his day with his friends & teachers, especially Ms. Meaghen! Definitely recommend!
