Smart Automation did a fantastic job installing my Starlink kit. It needed to be mounted high up on the roof of our house, but Smart Automation was undaunted. They were very responsive in getting back to me and quickly scheduled the install appointment before their competitors even returned my call. Smart Automation was on time, professional, and a fraction of the price of these competitors. I inadvertently ordered the wrong wall mount, a defective one not from the original manufacturer. Smart Automation worked long and hard to install it despite challenges from those defects. They also worked long and hard to stow the cable from the Starlink antenna, so that it showed only minimally, thereby preserving the aesthetic value of the house. After initial installation, Smart Automation researched the wall mount I had originally procured (of their own volition). In the course of that research, they discovered just how defective that wall mount was. They encouraged me to order a genuine Starlink wall mount. Smart Automation then set up an appointment to return to my house and installed the new Starlink wall mount with no additional charge! The unit is now more secure and, with the new wall mount being more adjustable, we were able to achieve better antenna alignment. All together, Smart Automation's responsiveness, dedication to quality, and value blew me away and set them apart as the "go to" in this area for these type services. We worked with Jim to install our two Nest thermostats. Jim was incredible, and went back and forth with me at least ten times via email to answer all of my questions before he even showed up. When he arrived, it was on time; he was courteous, informative, and helpful. The thermostats were installed in short order, and he made himself available throughout the installation to answer any questions I had. At the end, I advised Jim that we were considering some additional Nest products, and he was able to offer me a discounted price on two Nest Detect - Smoke Alarm and Carbon Monoxide detectors. Jim installed LED lighting in our mail shop. After he installed the tube lights, it turned out that the ballasts needed replacement too. Jim had to order those and visit a second time to complete the installation. He did not charge me extra for the second trip. He is clean, punctual and friendly. The new LED lights have brightened up the room and will save me money on utility bills. I asked for Jim to come back and install an Ecobee smart thermostat for me. He did a wonderful job! Was on time, very professional and he checked and double checked everything. He clean up everything which was very nice. He also walked me through every screen on my new ecobee and showed me all the settings and how to use the sensor.
