We hired SuperNova (Daniel) to put up 5 floodlights (some with cameras). Daniel was amazing - he was super detail oriented and respectful. Out of about 5 quotes, he was by far the most thoughtful. When it comes to electricity and your house, you really don't want to mess around with it. I had an issue with a buzzing light switch and didn't know what I was doing and ended up sparking on the neighboring switch which caused my breaker to flip and damaged the switch and my screwdriver. I looked on yelp for electricians, posted a project request and Daniel P. messaged me extremely quickly and was able to get me booked and taken care of within the hour. He came by and talked to me about the issue and although it was a simple fix but he answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like a fool. Just him coming out for the peace of mind and answering all my nagging questions while also educating me was well worth the fee. I've had other electricians come by to provide estimates and services and they usually cause damage to my wall, smell like cigarettes, and sometimes don't bring their own tools. I was looking forward to finding a reliable electrician. We have multiple properties in the area and wanted to start working with SuperNova at our primary home, immediately. I submitted a request for services through yelp and got a very prompt response from Daniel. We scheduled an appointment for a phone call during a 2-hour window, to complete the estimate, a few days later. I left work early that day, to ensure I was available for the appointment. Unfortunately, SuperNova Electric "no showed" my phone appointment. Wasting my time and delaying our work. I messaged Daniel multiple times the day of the appointment (immediately after the "no show"), the next day and then a few days later requesting to move forward with no response. Our heat had failed overnight and the HVAC guy we hired diagnosed a faulty circuit breaker (he, unfortunately, couldn't fix it). I had called multiple electricians and was bracing for a chilly night ahead when it was 4:00PM and someone I lined up had flaked on me. As luck would have it they were both in the immediate area and had 1 more circuit breaker of the kind I needed to be replaced, and were able to have the heat back on in my house before sunset. The technician that came was very professional, followed social distancing practices during these times, completed the job within an hour although the fan was at a somewhat unreachable place in the hot attic - all this with a great attitude and charged a reasonable cost that was less than others (I had a few other quotes and some other companies try to charge you as much as they can). Spoke to a gentleman and we discussed when they could come out. Via text I sent my address and confirmed the date and time and he responded "Got it". No one ever arrived. He schedule an hour window they would show up and Jose came right on time to get started. Daniel showed up a little after and they were able to change out the chandelier with no issues. This is the second time I've used SuperNova Electric. First time was to troubleshoot an issue I had with an outdoor deck circuit acting up. Daniel Perla was the technician then and did a great job not only with diagnosis but also recommended and installed some items to prevent any potential future issues. That positive experience led me to call them out again today for installation of a Haiku fan and troubleshooting a kitchen circuit. Again, a 5-star experience with Daniel. He listened to every detail of the problem and found that it was actually a different outlet on the circuit that was causing disruptions. It was 11 degrees outside and the aluminum wiring from my circuit breaker panel to the air handler got fried and was arcing.
