I work in the airport (usual 8:00-4pm grind) so it's quite a trip for me to cross San Mateo bridge in the rush hour traffic. Of course, I also didn't ask if they have modified hours with COVID. Apparently, even if the receipt says open M-F 8am-6pm, they're only open through 5pm. Understandable. This is why I'm super thankful for the lady for going above and beyond. She even said don't worry about it drive safe and I'll wait for you until 5:30. Whew, I barely made it but got there around 5:20pm. She also made sure I check if I have everything I need. Thank you so much 1st choice cleaners! For that, you'll definitely be my first choice for dry cleaners whenever I'm in the East Bay Area. :) The wash and fold costs $2.25/lb but minimum 10 lbs. so make sure you have a lot to bring of laundry with you if you want to avail of that price. I stepped in the conversation and he said 'I am not talking to you I am talking to her'. She responded that she brought me to speak on her behalf... yet he kept trying to shut me up. Before leaving the place the guy looked at me and said 'you didn't want to talk to me earlier', I responded 'you're the one who said you're not talking to me'. So either he's got bad memory or bad attitude, either way that was the poorest way to deal with a problem. I asked for a full refund which the guy honored. Poor work quality, bad attitude, bad customer service. Avoid this place. Now we're left with having to deal with the damage.

These days a lot of dry cleaners are charging $10 or more just for one pair of pants, but here I'm able to get two pairs cleaned for under $18, which is a great deal. I've also had a few items altered here, and they did a perfect job every time. The woman who runs the place also has such a warm, magnetic energy, which makes the experience even better. They have a pair of 3-4 inch heels to give you an idea of how much you need removed, but you should bring your own shoes if you have them ready. Needed about 3 inches off the bottom since it was too long and costed $50. He gives honest advice, takes measurements, and doesn't charge you for every little thing like some places do. The details really make the outfit, minor adjustments across all my nicer clothing really brought everything together. I'm grateful I found this spot, it's fair and great value.
